Personality & Background

Arthur Kirkland is very sarcastic and has a foul mouth; however, he can also be quite the gentleman. Being a gentleman, he cares about appearance, manners and traditions; but he tends to shrink away from uncivilized behavior, or uncivilized people. He gets into countless fights with these uncivilized people; mostly with Francis and Alfred. Only after being provoked does Arthur have quite a temper and resorts to violence. When not angry, Arthur is a laid-back type of individual; the kind that will sip tea and sit back to watch the fight rather than join it. He enjoys embroidering, reading, golfing and cooking. Arthur steers clear of physical contact such as hugs, kisses and sometimes even sex; he couldn’t be considered a touchy person. The saying, “Actions speak louder than words” is quite the opposite for Arthur. He has a massive vocabulary that he intends to use, whether it be for his writing or for a rude remark or insult. Arthur’s house is clean, mostly because he is both neat and a perfectionist. The only part of his house that might have specks of dirt would be the kitchen. Arthur is horrible at cooking even though he tries his best. He finds himself blowing up food and having to clean the kitchen multiple times a day; even though he sucks at cooking, he has a burning desire to learn how to cook. Arthur is also a bookworm, reading all types of genres any time that he can. Arthur also finds pleasure in gardening, growing fresh fruits and veggies in his small, backyard garden. Arthur lives in a more rural area, just outside the outskirts of London. He grew up in the city, ruled by punk rock, alcohol and drugs. He regrets those days and rules out the memories, trying to stick to his ‘gentleman’ composure. But sometimes, when he is stressed, he still goes back to the cigarettes.

Looks & Fashion

Arthur has a skinny frame, which is lightly coated in muscle. He stands up at around 170 kg, which is about the average height for most of the United Kingdom. Arthur has short, messy hair the color of champagne; his eyes are a pure color of emerald green. The most portrayed part of his body would be his giant, extra-bushy, black eyebrows; they stand out against his creamy white skin. His usual attire will be a patterned sweater vest layered over a cream colored dress shirt with a tie; it is finished with loafers and brown khaki pants. He owns many patterns of sweater vests, ranging from simple geometric patterns to checkered or plaid.

Headcannons & Miscellaneous

-He will only allow close friends and lovers to call him nicknames. Which include: Artie or Art.

-Arthur wears glasses, but only when there is no one around.

-Arthur believes in magical creatures and even has a few magical friends. Only people who believe in magic can see them!

-I /love/ smut. But don’t get me wrong. I do /not/ like to whore my characters out. Arthur is a seke. Why? Just ukes or just semes are stupid. : )

-He can’t hold his liquor. After drinking, he swears he will never drink again, but he can be found at the pub just about every night!

-He smokes and drinks alcohol, even with knowing that it is incredibly bad for him.

-Arthur is bisexual. Simple. He likes both girls and guys. I love you females, I really do, but I would love to pair my Artie with a male. But that doesn’t mean that females can’t be friends with Arthur! In fact, Arthur needs lots of female friends!

-Arthur loves sweets, more than one could imagine. He has dessert everyday and chocolate, pies, cupcakes or cake more than once. It’s ironic that he loves such sweets but is not sweet himself.

-Arthur also fancies bitter things, almost as much as sweets. This goes along with his bitter personality.

-No, I will not genderbend him. Well…only if you ask nicely! : 3

-This is an Human!England, which means that he is NOT a country. I will not be calling your character a country, so please don’t call Artie one either. He is a human, pretty much the whole point of the AU!

Hello! My name is Auni and I live in the fabulous country of the USA! : )
I have been roleplaying for around two years now and have been obsessed with Hetalia for around one.
I will do lots of different types of roleplays, but I will NOT…WILL NOT…roleplay Rape, Scat or Waterworks.
I do love Fluff, Romance, Angst and Smut. : )

I do both Lit and Script types of roleplays. These days, I prefer Lit more than Script, mostly because of describing and the all-around awesomeness of it. But if you REALLY want to do script…I'm cool with that too. I like to mostly do PM and Wall Posts, but I will roleplay on photos and Wall-to-Wall.

1) You have horrible grammar (I mean messing up every time, not just once in a while). With the exception of not speaking English and Homestuck writing quirks.
