Chapter Six: Split Paths
Posted by Unknown Member on April 19, 2015 at 11:20 pmJack sat silently at the computer, listening in to the communications feed of the Keepers. He sighed. He could help them, but he would only be a liability. He got up, walking around his lab. He pressed his hand against a glowing pad in the wall, a piece of it moving to reveal something. He stared at it as the light reflected against his face.

Apollo creates a force field and holds it in front of the capsule. “If he moves…”
-
Andaluza waits as well, drawing some energy out of the screens to aim at Gunslinger.
-
*Pandora’s wings twitched with anticipation, she really wanted to whack the gunslinger upside the head for capturing her friend Faye*
-
Faye sits back and looks at the mental projection of Ody, glancing around the room for a way to try and complete her goal… She would be meeting with Ozy himself, so that could be her only opportunity to do this well… She takes a deep breath, thinking to herself, This is it. Almost time.

(Tired of waiting on Ody so I’m going to go ahead and say the gunslinger is missing in action)
Apollo pointed to the badly patched hole in the wall. “There’s minor damage to the circuits, but major damage to the structure. The next time we fly around a planet, this base will collapse. Andaluza, since you can wire, attempt to fix the wire frames. Pandora, come with me. I need you to help me put some things back up.” Apollo began walking out of the room to the power core.
-
“Man”, Pandora muttered disappointed the gun slinger bailed on them. She followed Apollo out the room.
-
Apollo began putting the wires up in the generator. “It’s working, but it’s radiating too much out. We’ll hold up a forcefield to contain it until I figure out a more permanent solution.” Apollo generated a small forcefield, slightly transparent to show its lack of power so he was able to think of a solution. “I think we could…no…hold on.”
-
“Cant we just try and eat it?”, Pandora suggested putting up a force field as well.
-
Apollo rolled his eyes. “Yes, we can eat a highly powerful energy source emitting not only electrical energy but gamma waves and causing a constant reaction with something that is so reactive it needs a vacuum to store.” Apollo reached to grab a cobalt sheet, but when he closed his hand, it started moving and flew across the room. “Sorry, got a little mad there. I’ll get it.” Apollo picked up the sheet and put it on the generator. “Woohoo!”
-
((Sorry. Got busy. Still will be tonight. Are there any direct objections to the gunslinger still being in the base?)) Odysseus looks at Faye. “What are you thinking?” Suddenly, Odysseus turns to the side, a surprised look on his face as he speaks to the air. “Already? Understood… Yes. Understood.” Odysseus turns back to Faye, and says, “Quickly, grab my hand.”
-
((Yeah we started on something else so we just said he chickened out for now, he can come back later though))
Apollo tested the generator and it read 93% efficiency. “Good enough for now, should go up from there. Now let’s go play Ascendii bowling or something in the gym! ANDALUZAAAAAAAAAAAA we got it up and running meet us in the gym!” Apollo got up and bolted to the gym like a bullet.
-
The Second Gunman bursts through Jack’s door, holding up a chainsaw. “Time to die!”
-
“well if their wasn’t gamma in it i bet we could”, Pandora pouted.”Do i have to put sheets ‘o metal too?”, she asked curiously.
-
Apollo arranged the dummies in a pattern of a triangle with 15 of them. “Cartographer, you better film this. Pandora, you’re up.”
