Peace Keeper HQ
-
((This is the Peace Keeper HQ, it is located in the Kanto Region.))
-
Standing before the headquarters of the Peace Keeper HQ, Marchwood halted. A tall man resembling a Beedrill, he was one of those Pokémon who had been infected with the strange air, becoming more like a human. Having left his hive in Viridian Forest for fear of infecting them, he had wandered the region in search of a cause to align himself with, a cause that could help put a stop to this strange air. He had heard of a war brewing, an unfortunate matter, with Pokémon fighting humans over the ownership of the world. Calling it a pointless battle, Marchwood had decided to align with those who sought only a maintenance of the stability of the traditional friendship between mankind and Pokémon.
The headquarters was small, a building in bustling Celadon City. Not many had joined the cause yet, with the main focus being on the opposing sides and not the people standing in the middle. Marchwood had signed up and received a few gifts: A bag for items, an arm-sash marking him as a member of the Peace Keepers, and a cheap phone for calling in help.
He stood inside the building, a stalwart guard, awaiting the call to arms. -
Sneaking eeever so quietly across the field behind Peace Keeper HQ, Jason, A human-ish Quilava chuckled inwardly at the idea of choosing an actual “side” in the big sha-bang. ‘I mean, why would I want to get involved in this at all?’ he thinks to himself. Carelessly, he steps directly on a brittle twig (‘Irony!!!!’) and darts to the wall of the building, scaling it enough to be hidden from most eyes below. ‘Great, now I’ve alerted ’em.’ Jason thinks.
-
-Death stands fully erect, his saggy pants giving him a definable sound as he made sure to paw swiftly. His hardened and sunken eyes met the building and a cracking sound. His head did not turn to it as this area was, in a way, neutral to humans and poke’mon.
His claws etched the ground as he entered the building, eyes immediately locking on a new recruit. He cleared his throat before speaking as to not startle him and asked in a muggy voice, “Have you seen a rambunctious Charizard, a flirty Stuntank, and a pissed off Blaziken in your time being here?”
Unknown to those new or those in the above small base, War, Famine, and Conquest were in a below ground command center, monitoring the upstairs activity and keeping their voices low. War wanted to laugh but Famine kept hushing him.-
-
A portal in the sky opened, and a boy fell out. He was about 13, by the looks of it. He was wearing strange red shoes with one white stripe on each shoe, with a larger, darker red star on the stripe. He was also wearing a black wristlet with a blue stone embedded in it, with a small button on the side. He looked around, and suddenly noticed a small metallic bump on the back of his hand, which was starting to turn gray. “It’s started already?” He suddenly was enveloped by a blue light. When it faded, there was no human standing there, but a normal Lucario wearing the same shoes and wristlet. He looked at himself. “Well, at least my theory worked.” He saw a large building in front of him. “Maybe I’ll let my Pokemon see this.” He pulled three Poke Balls out and sent out a Torterra, a Chesnaught and a Serperior. “I’m glad you three survived the trip!” Gamer said happily. “Of course we did!” said the Chesnaught, who was named Sonic, by the way. The Lucario, who had just switched back to a boy, stepped back. “You can talk already? The disease…” The Serperior, who was named Seraphina, just said, “This is unexpected, huh, Gamer?” The boy nodded. “You’re right, Sera. I didn’t expect the disease to start this soon…”
-
Marchwood buzzed. The headquarters had grown livelier by a few, something he was glad to see. Looking at the new arrivals through his compound eyes, he found himself approached. A houndoom, by the looks, wearing pants. This disease brought strange company.
“You are missing your friendz?” Marchwood turned to him, his voice deep with a mild buzz. “I have not seen thoze who you speak of, but I am willing to help you.” He looks about for a moment, antennae wiggling, his mind working. “Have you perhaps checked the underground portion of the command center? You may juzt find who you’re looking for.”
-
-Death smiled and thought about it. He sniffed the air and then let out a chuckle. As he looked down at the ground he gained a nearly demented smirk and then gazed back at the Beedrill. “There is a camera in the front corner of the room. Can you block it out?” He whispered to him while pointing at the camera outside of its veiw.
He had a little plan to flush out his brother and company, the hard way. He knew the heat of a flamethrower would be able to be felt in the command center because, as usual, War keeps forgetting to help install heat resistance. He also knew the first one to jump out would be Famine so she’d be able to get their asses.
Meanwhile, down below, they were trying to look at the monitor and figure out what he was up to.-
-
Seeing the area swarmed with people and Pokémon alike, Jason decides to- OH not again- What do you- sigh. I hide and observe the scene , waiting.
-
“I do not see why this is required,” Marchwood buzzed as he wandered over to the camera, “But I am a Beedrill of honour, so I will assist you in your mysterious endeavours.”
Flying up to the camera, Marchwood smeared a thick venom onto the lens, blotting out the view entirely.“I am Sir Marchwood, Beedrill errant,” he turned to face this odd Houndoom, “Bound by codes of chivalry to help those in need. Tell me your name, sir, so that I may address you properly.”
He gave an odd bow, his mid-section bending unnaturally. -
Gamer saw the building. He pulled out the Town Map he brought along and read that the building was known as the Peace Keeper HQ. He switched back to his Lucario form and used Aura vision to read who was inside, and noticed… “A Beedrill and a Houndoom?” He went inside to check it out.
-
-Death smirked at Sir Marchwood, mischief in his eyes as he blew a flamethrower at the floor. Sure enough, Famine came running up out of the hatch screaming that it was hot. Death stopped his feiry breath and looked to Sir Marchwood, bowing back to him and saying, “My name is Death. The screaming Skuntank is Famine. And the one about to follow her is War, my brother.”
Sure enough, War poked his head up and growled at Death. “Not cool bro!” War was obviously pissed but that only allowed Death a more hollowed cackle. Death then suddenly wondered where Conquest was and looked in for him. He then looked back up to Marchwood and said, “If you got something sharp, they tied up Conquest.”
War noticed as an odd Lucario came in and said, “HALT! Are you a human that has progressed to a Poke’mon? Or a Poke’mon untouched by the horror around us?”-
-
Gamer said “Actually, neither, but the first one is close. I’m a being from another planet, and this is only one of my two forms. I figured that by switching forms constantly, I’d be immune to the disease.” He noticed his paw beginning to turn into a hand, and switched forms quickly. “As you can see, it can kind of be a pain to switch when you need opposable thumbs or Aura powers, but I’m starting to get the hang of it.” Gamer smiled. “Don’t worry, I heard your names.”
-
Gamer suddenly hesitated. “I feel like the others are here… Don’t make a sound…” Zavok walked in. “Don’t bother, I already know you are here.” Gamer thought Zavok would want to battle like usual, and sent out his three Pokemon. However, the Serperior, Torterra and Chesnaught were enveloped in white light. “Are they… EVOLVING?” The light died down, and the three Pokemon were human now. Seraphina was tall and slender, with green hair and blue eyes. Trystan was muscle bound and strong-looking. Sonic now had slicked-back hair, a large blue dome-like shield on his back, and a mustache. Zavok heaved a sigh. “Listen, Gamer, the machine I used to make my Pokemon human-like has gone missing. I figured you had something to do with it, so I followed you to this planet all the way from Lost Hex. But now I see you’re just as clueless… I don’t like it, but it seems we must (gulp) WORK TOGETHER. I’ve done some research about what’s going on here, and it’s not good. The machine must have something to do with it. With your help, we can find it and stop it. You in?” Gamer shook his head slowly and just said “Fine. I’ll keep my eyes on you, though.”
-
Zik said “I don’t mean to interfere, but I feel like we might meet someone when we leave.” Gamer said, “I’ll try to keep that in mind.”

A small drip of sweat rolled down the side of Elizi’s face. She looks down at her best friend Cane, the Absol. She’s been with him since the start, and their friendship has just gotten stronger now that he can actually talk in human language. “You know as well as I do, that when we step in that door…everything is going to be different. For right now, we can’t even trust these people since we don’t know them. Are you ready for this?” Elizi stammers this out quickly to him. Cane looks up at her with a strange look.
“Honestly, I have no idea, but we had this discussion. We both know that we need to help end this madness.”
He had a point. They had traveled all the way from Hoenn. It was too late to start having doubts now. She touched the remaining two pokeballs on her belt. Ryland and Lyssa were young, so they didn’t understand much. Ryland was old enough to know that something isn’t right anymore, but Lyssa had always seen the world like this. Elizi raised her hand to the door, and hesitated.
