• “For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.” – Kahlil Gibran

*Helena visited the cemetary alone. She didn’t like to be seen in mourning. It didn’t matter that she was a seraphik goddess, it didn’t matter that she had the ability to manipulate time, she could even reincarnate many times and still, death was predominant and necessary. Sometimes she could raise others from the dead but she knew she wasn’t supposed to and she knew there were consequences. It always took a piece of her. She could only forge the path to a proper reincarnation. It was helpful to her to have family who were death and of death’s realm but….all in all, losing someone never became any less painful, she didn’t become numb to it, she both accepted it and didn’t accept it. Alas, she was part of the life death, and rebirth cycle and therefore, it was her duty to have it continue as such. Life without death had it’s own anguishes. She shook her head and would drop to her knees in front of the memorial graves of many and chant something in her archaic seraphim language, she then quietly meditated and once she had finished she would get up and slowly walk around distributing the most colorful roses in little yellow vases to each.* There, now you wont look so gloomy! This should make you all feel better. Let your souls find their way!
