Alternia (First Timeline)
-
Skvaada blinked at the utter destruction of the door, watching it soar through the air before crashing down. Perhaps she and Lupus shared a common ancestry. He certainly was STRONG enough to be descended from her ancestor. “Impressive….I…would have paid for the door to be fixed.”
Mental note: Keep Lupus away from doors. Breaking them seems to be becoming a habit. He is even willing to destroy even his own doors! Addiction must be a powerful thing…
Recollecting her thoughts, she gave the male troll a nod and followed him into the hive. “Thank you. I apologize for dropping in unexpectedly to accompany you on guard duty, but to be honest it was me or a subjugglator.” She glanced around before finding a wall she could lean against nonchalantly, observe and hopefully avoid having to make inane conversation. “Don’t mind me, please resume your previous activities.”
-
-Zembra watched the happening with the door from the corner of her eye. She was more focused on the food in front of her. She shoveled in as much food as she could before sitting back and letting herself feel just how full she was from the little she had eaten. It was a releif to her but also a pain in the ass. She knew before the first culling, she’d need to work herself back up. She looked at the female who came in akwardly and tilted her head, offering an akward smile. “You both watching little weak me?” She was partially laughing, “Why are you all so frightened that you need both of you to attend to keeping me at bay?”
She fully relaxed on the couch and felt herself nodd off a little. She didn’t understand why but she thought about how she had rarely slept in her cage, taking the time to torment guards. She liked the fear others felt against her just cause of the power it put her into. It was addicting.-
-
-Lupus found himself a strong drink in his fridge and downed it quickly before returning to his front room where he sat down where he could view both of the women clearly as he didnt trust either of them now that he had killed that blasted clown. He only wished he had found a way to take out more of them quicker because now when they come for him it will become a war. Lupus turned his attention towards the female holding up his wall”so why did you choose to come and not send a clown which would have been easier.’
-
The indigo blood raised an eyebrow, “You sound disappointed. Would you prefer that one of the highbloods come? You’ve made no secret of the enmity you harbor for them.” The purple blood previously covering him was baffling. A quick glance around the hive revealed nothing about Lupus’ blood color. Just what color was he? Purple? Indigo? It was a bit hard to decide exactly what tone to use when speaking to the dangerous troll.
She took a moment to take a breath before speaking. “Trust me, I had no desire to deal with either of you two,” she lied through her pointy teeth. “Alas, today happens to be the same day as one of their most cherished celebrations. Something about ‘sweet elixir flowing’ or whatnot. So, the Empress sent the subjugglators who sent me.” She made a point to scowl as though she had better things to be doing then guarding a parolee. “I am not sure about what the laughsassins are currently doing though. They’ll probably come for you if they ever find out what you did. But it’s none of my concern.” There was a bit of an awkward pause which she didn’t know how to fill. “If you die, Lupus, would you be willing to donate your body to science?”
-
-Zembra listened to the two and forced herself to stand up. She looked at them despite her legs shaking and said with a laugh, “You two are priceless.” She sat back down, nearly tumbeling backasswards over the couch. She landed firmly on her rear though, and laughed about it a bit manihically. She didn’t mean to, it just slipped out.-
-
-Lupus’s mouth fell open at her question if he would donate his body to science. He picked up a throwing knife and threw it so it would be embed into the wall next to the blasted trolls head. He stood up and picked up another knife but this one was curved. He casted his aspect of void over its blade but this was a simple trick before he threw it at the wall and the part of the wall it hit vanished into nothingness as the void swallowed it into itself. Lupus then sat down next to the deranged troll that was on his couch.-
-
Skvaada let out an instinctually angry growl as she snapped her CHAIN WHIP (2) from her sylladex after the first dagger buried itself in the wall near her head. As a warning, she cracked her whip with a sound like thunder overhead as the barb at the tip flailed about almost faster than sight.
The second dagger Lupus threw clearly wasn’t aimed for her, and instead made the entire wall disappear much to the whip user’s surprise. She shifted into a more protective than aggressive stance and involuntarily let out a clearly threatened and scared hiss.
When he then sat down on the couch and showed no further signs of agression, the indigo-blooded troll relaxed a bit out of her strifing stance, but watches him warily. The dagger was clearly a warning, not an actual attack. If it had been an actual attack…
Guess that means no. How selfish.
-
-Zembra watched the mini strife and smiled a bit. She was just eating up the tension. She was excited when the portion of the wall dissappeared. Her eyes watched as he sat next to her. She then giggled a little bit at it all and looked to the frightened troll. She bit her lip with an elongated canine and let her own violet blood roll down her chin. “Looks like I am not the only one to be feared,” She turned her head to the male next to her with a smile. She giggled only a little more before relaxing again. She then spoke directly to him and the other troll, “So, what are we going to do for two days until I go to my new job?”-
-
-Lupus chuckled at her his before laying down his black knuckle guards as he spoke”the daggers are nothing compared to my fist weapons, im not very proficient with blades other then my scythe which I pull from the void”. Lupus then turned to Zembra before speaking openly”oh i think will come up with something to pass the time”. He wiped away the blood from her chin with a smirk as he turned back to the troll who seemed to calm slowly”you’ll never know my blood color and if you ever did you wouldent know how to classify it on your hemospectram”.
-
Skvaada glared at Lupus with frustration, her large hands balling into fists. While she was physically stronger than most trolls, she failed to develop any useful psychic powers. Let alone, something like void powers. Well, except for the one strange occurrence which had been going on while she was sleeping… Whether that could be considered a power or not was still debatable.
Either way, her recently found ability could not be applied to strifing so it was effectively useless in most situations. Her one consolation was that Lupus’ hive would eventually collapse due to structural damage. The thought cheered her up slightly.Lupus’ statement caused the female troll’s pointed ears to perk up with curiosity. “Well, your reluctance to have your blood color known explains your touchiness on the subject of autopsies. I certainly won’t force you to divulge your secrets.”
At least, I don’t think I CAN physically force you to. But the truth will out eventually. Hehehh.“Does it really matter, if you were already dead, though? You’re certainly defensive about it. Feeling insecure?”
-
-Zembra smirked a bit but the words of the other female troll made her cock her head. She smirked and then decided to try to pry into her mind just a little bit. She sent her mental images of her dying, just to try and freak out the female with nearly premonition precision. Once the images were presumed sent, she said, “So, anyone up for just tossing stuff at each other? I will admit, I am at a disadvantage.” She cackled a little bit but it was just a cover to laugh at what she sent to the other female.-
-
-Lupus left the living room where they were located while he fetched some wood to make a new door. He finished the door quickly before coming back into the living room and fitting it into place before closing the door”this is so the clowns cant sneak up on me”. Lupus then walked back over into his covert bringing down a drink that he enjoyed when it was a hostile day. He would drink deeply sighing at its taste before he heard a knock at his door. He walked over to his table picked up his knuckle guards and wrapped them around his right hand just in case he was about to be taken in for questioning. Lupus opened up the door and sure enough a juggulator was standing there with a creepy smile as he walked in without asking first. Lupus let air pass from between his clenched teeth which came out in a deep hiss which made the clown laugh. The juggulator spoke”i was coming to check in are freshly freed captive and make sure she hasn’t killed our low bloods”. Lupus smirked at this comment coming up behind the clown which send a shiver down any trolls spine at the height difference but this is was saddening as the clown was two feet shorter then Lupus. He spoke roughly and proudly”oh you clown if i was a low blood then i wouldn’t be the executioner of the queen or have you forgotten your place as even you can be judged by me”. The clowns back straitened with a sneer before he turned gave the women one last look and scurried out the door but would surly return soon.-
-
Skvaada’s eyes followed Lupus’ departure without a word of response from the room from behind cracked sunglasses. “I must agree with Lupus, that activity sounds completely inane. I will have no part in it.” So many things could go wrong even with just a simple game of catch, and all of the possibilities kept popping into her head, one after another. Zembra could attack Lupus or herself while they were distracted, fangs ripping at their throats. Or they could be buried alive if a ball accidently hit a critical center of the hive, or worse, an uncontrolled toss from Lupus could become fatal. Equally likely was an uncontrolled toss from her end killing either Lupus or Zembra. For killing a high-blood, the legislacerators would surely sentence her to death by hanging.
The mental image of a scratchy rope tightening around her neck and cutting off her oxygen supply caused the troll to subconsciously rub her neck just to make sure such a thing wasn’t actually happening. Her hand came back damp with the lightly tinted indigo sweat currently pooling in a puddle on the floor of the hive. Skvaada shook her head in an attempt to physically dislodge the morbid thoughts. “Hmnn. Pardon me for a moment,” she said attempting to keep a level tone while she pulled out a HANDKERCHIEF (8) and daintily dabbed at her face, neck and shoulders.
At that moment, the subjuggulator appeared in the door. Skvaada tried to make no noise and fade into the background, a difficult thing to do given her size, so as not to attract attention. Technically she had a few free days before she could continue her work, but the subjuggulators might not know that and assume she was shirking at her job…which she kind of sort of was. Also, it was now clear that she had lied about the subjuggulators all being high today. Of course Lupus had to go aggravate the purple blooded clowns, and now they would likely come back violently. She tried and failed to resist the urge to face-palm.
-
-Zembra didn’t mind her idea sinking like a boulder in the ocean. She instead thought to herself until that clown came in. She listened and watched as if stalking her prey. She couldn’t help but smile as the poor little subjuggalator was frightened by the big bad Lupus. She waited until the clown left and broke out laughing. She also noticed that the other was sweating. This only made her laugh harder. She simply couldn’t contain herself. She made herself calm down and finally relax once more.
Thoughts came of the subjuggalators coming back in great number, and them slaughtering them all. Her tongue caressed her fangs gently as she thought of the bloodshed that could happen in just a small while. She even forced herself to stand and asked, “May I have my scythe? It is precious to me.”
Her eyes showed only a slight hint of red as she lusted for the blood shed, but keeping to herself and being as contained as possible. She didn’t want to screw up her plan now, that wouldn’t be very wise.-

Kolarabi hid behind a wall of a mysterious trolls hive. She looked as the subjuggulators passed. She then heard a slam and a loud laughing. She had her ear pressed against the all.
“Zembra…”
She whispered to herself. Kolarabi had seen many of her crimes, and saw her in her cage once. She was sleeping of course. She put the hood of her cloak on, and approached the door. She raised a fist to knock on the door and then put it back down. Thoughts of the sea-dweller ripping her limb from limb came across her. She turned around and slowly walked away. Faster and faster. She halted when she saw the subjuggulator. She wasn’t coming toward her, Kolarabi just saw her. She decided she would walk back. She remembered the time when she almost bit her. She said that the next time she saw Kolarabi, she would bite her and taste her mystery blood. Kolarabi felt her hand. Nope, no bite marks. She didn’t want to go back, but the subjuggulators were after her, so she really had no choice. She came back to the hive, only to stay by the door. She was running and running. She wished she could redo everything that had happened.
