Chapter Five: Retribution

“Okay. Night.” Jack said awkwardly.
“Come on, Rose. Everyone, let’s go to the sleeping area. We need rest.” Jack got up from the chair next to Rose, pushing it in. He walked to the bedroom, climbing in. He sat there, wide-awake, his mind reeling.

Rose only hesitated a bit before following, throwing a white tulip card to Calypsa, remembering Ody keeping that very same card as well. Just like Jack, Rose didn’t go to sleep. Opting to write a letter to Katherine explaining the situation before switching out. Katherine read the letter and stood up drawing more tarot cards, her mind too busy to go to sleep.

Apollo took off his OGA uniform, using it as a bed to sleep in the living room. “Calypsa, can I go sleep in the dryer? Beds are horrible.”

*Pandora flapped into the bedroom and morphed back in mid air charging at the bed, she landed face first into the pillow with a light poof, she was so tiered from being in that state she barley had the strength to role over on her back, once she wrapped her self with her wings on the bed, she fell asleep instantly*

Geralt took Faye into a room, noticing a look in her eyes that worried him greatly. Once in the room, he sat her down on the bed and he sat on the ground. Faye, what’s on your mind?

Faye listens to Jack’s orders, slowly walking to a sleeping area while her head twitches slightly, as her hair now starts to shift colors as well as her eyes. She crawls onto her bed and takes out a small photo of her parents, marking a tally on the back. She puts it away again. Wait, would thinking in her sleep screw over Calysta’s sleep schedule? Oh that’d be fun!!
Faye looks up at Geralt with her everything changing up, “Oh many things on my mind! Just having a mental duel with the council lady for the most part!” She chuckles a bit, her eyes flashing still.

Geralt gives Faye a quizzical look. What?

Faye laughs at the Lupide’s misunderstanding, her eyes changing faster than before, “What else did you expect?”

Ummmm… Geralt is looking directly into Faye’s eyes. Your eyes are…. changing…. fast….

Faye laughs a bit louder, staring at him, now just wanting to mess with him, “Yes, it happens sometimes!~ Fun, don’t you think?”

Geralt gets up and pulls Faye into a hug, ((BTW Geralt, after that out-of-body experience, knows who Rose is and who Faye is)) Faye, everything is hard right now, I know that, but I’m here for you. Geralt wraps his tail around him and Faye, covering her in his warmth.

Faye’s eyes stop changing colors, as does her hair. “I-It hurts…it hurts…” Faye’s eyes go back to the normal blue as she holds her head, “Ahhh…shit…” Faye looks at Geralt and hugs him, “H-Hey Geralt…”

<i>As Jack was lying in the sterile thin bedsheets, he was thinking about how he hated every second of it. After minutes upon minutes of overhearing Geralt and Faye’s conversation, he sank into a fit of uneasy sleep.</i>

Calypsa, after showing Apollo to the dryer, sits back at the table and contemplates the White Tulip Card. “Ozymandias… What has become of you?” She sheds a few tears, sipping her coffee.
