Chapter Five: Retribution

Apollo ran up to Andaluza and held his obsidian knife to his neck. “I don’t think I’ve hurt you enough today. Not to make up for my family’s loss.” Apollo closed the knife and threw it on the coffee table before striking the wall angrily.

Andaluza stood up, his head still ringing from the electricity and the wall strike. “Apollo…you wouldn’t do this for something that happened a hundred years ago…and not when you’re endangering the lives of everyone aboard this vessel. It’s going to take weeks to clean up the burst ion thrusters, and you’re going to do it.” Andaluza threw Apollo a sponge that was lying on the table.

Rose flinched at the open aggression, “Mr. Pure Breed, you should take your anger outside, please.” She said through clenched teeth as she approached Apollo.

Apollo grabbed the sponge and looked angrily at Rose. “You don’t know what it’s like, to lose someone to the one person you thought you could trust. I’m off the team.” Apollo gave Rose the knife. “I don’t need it anymore. If we meet again, I can identify you by it.” Apollo went down to his gunship and left the Fury, headed for Ctherramore-3.

Andaluza stared out the door that Apollo just went out of. “Uh…he took my sponge.”

Rose looked at Andaluza and shook her head. “It seems like this team will forever flunctate between good and bad…” Rose was tempted to follow Apollo, but held herself back as she turned her attention to the damage.

Apollo looked out the window at the Fury. “I just realized the comms are on on this thing. Huh, I did damage the ship pretty bad. Whatever, maybe Andaluza can fix it.”

Andaluza tried to comm Apollo. “Look, give me a chance to explain. What are you even doing in space? There’s nothing to destroy, or shoot down, or torpedo at. Come back, the team needs you. I can’t do your job for you, neither can Rose nor Pandora. I’ll explain why I did what I did, if you just promise not to blast wave me again.”

*Pandora thought, “Well that escalated quickly”, -will farel lol.*

Apollo commed back. “Fine. I guess I overreacted.” Apollo landed the gunship and ran back to the upstairs. “Sorry. Now what do I have to do?”

Jack just stared at Andaluza while Apollo fought him, leaving and coming back.
“Andaluza.” <i>He said quietly. Jack put a hand on his shoulder, punching him in the face, the force of it slamming him into the wall again. Jack lunged at him, landing his full body weight of 210 pounds on top of him, punching him over and over again in the face.</i>
“You-piece-of-shit!” He screamed, hitting him over and over, slamming his fists into his chest, face, anywhere he could reach, over and over. He sat there on top of him for what seemed like hours, hitting him again and again, yelling.

Andaluza had been weakened enough from Apollo’s <i>blast wave but decided he had enough of Jack. He got up and grabbed his fist. </i>”You had no relation to her. You shouldn’t care.” Andaluza electrocuted Jack and tossed him into the coffee table.

Jack twisted his wrist, shattering it.
“FUCK YOU!” He screamed, landing on him again. He hit him over and over with his full strength, with fists that could destroy concrete and smash apart steel walls, wanting to inflict enough damage to kill him, to make him suffer, still punching him in the head over and over.

Andaluza had no problem in inflicting damage to Jack, so he looked directly into Jack and attempted to explode his interiors. “Stop it! You’re going to get hurt real bad!”

Jack gritted his teeth as he felt his blood boil from the focused energy Andaluza was putting into him, refusing to stop.
He felt his vision go red and he used his full reserve of strength for one more punch, slamming his closed fist into Andaluza’s neck, his head snapping to the side sickeningly.
