Chapter Five: Retribution

Apollo went into the power room and drew out the switchblade, beginning to cut the light power signals. “Almost there guys, power goes out in 3…2…” the lights immediately go off. “Odysseus? Did you manage to do that?! Nice job!”

Harvin looks at the lights turning off. “Odysseus, that scoundrel!” Harvin blows down Midzog’s door and runs to the power room, looking at Apollo. “You! Weren’t you assigned to section three?”

*Pandora sheaths her sword as she killed the last soldier in her way and shrunk into the shadows, pocking the root of her wing to get her SL eyes, once they turned silver she crept along the hall*

“Sorry it took so long! I have my own light show up here! They sent the whole fleet after me! Well, not literally, but you get my point!” Odysseus turns sharply as two ships fly into each other, after hacking into their navigation systems.

Faye runs along another hallway, going off of her memories of places like this, going to the most likely location where Mizdog would be. She leads Geralt and shoots down a few troops here and there.

Apollo spun around to meet Harvin, face to face. “Harvin Vaelance, aren’t you. I’m Apollo. Nice to meet you-NOT!” Apollo broke into a sprint and eventually took off, throwing Harvin and himself back through the corridor, resetting all that sneaking progress.

“You’re not even that clever!” Jack said as Rose and him sprinted along the hallways, looking for the experimental lab where the kids were located. The lights suddenly cut, the entire base suddenly enveloped in darkness. His contacts kicked in, giving him night-vision.
“Okay, around here somewhere.” A soldier ran at them, trying to feel in the darkness, unable to see. Jack pulled out Rose’s pistol, shooting him once in the head, them both continuing.
“Room A41b…room A42b, here it is!” Jack took a step back, kicking in the heavy Osmium security door, knocking them off their hinges. He saw hundreds of pale eyes in the darkness, looking terrified in the unknown.
“Ody, turn on light in room A42b, these kids are terrified.”

Harvin retaliates, using his Jack-level strength to throw Apollo into the control circuit. “Goodbye.” Harvin mirrors to Jack. “THERE YOU ARE!” He kicks Jack into the wall, shattering it in half.”

Apollo begins to slide out of the circuit, ripping the OGA suit and cutting himself slightly in the process. “God…damn…Harvin…”

Rose’s heart broke as she could still see them perfectly fine. Slowly she lowered her wings and approached them, “We’re here to get you out…but you have to be cooperative okay?” Rose stopped and showed herself fully to them, slowly getting some of the children’s trust before being interrupted. Rose used the advantage of the circuit being cut to free the children and protect them from the fight.

<i>As soon as the lights came on, Havin appeared out of nowhere, slamming Jack into a wall. He yelled as the wall shattered, Jack narrowly blocking the next kick by Havin. </i>
‘Holy fuck, this guy’s as fast as Apollo!’ Jack thought as he tried to block each hit, sloppily missing and getting kicked in the face again, hitting the floor. He grabbed Havin’s leg, yanking him down onto the ground, punching him in the face.

SAL turns on the lights for Jack.

Harvin took the punch as a stroke to the face, getting up instantly and zipping around Jack, dodging each and every one of his blows before backstabbing him with his wing. “All around strongman, eh? Midzog expresses dislike for you as well, and so do I!”

“At least I’m not an all-around piece of shit!” Jack shouted, groaning in pain from the stab, whipping around and grabbing Havin’s head, bringing it down on Jack’s knee, knocking him to the floor.

*Pandora found a control panned with a little screen, she opened it up and rearranged wires, she tapped on the little screen and little things of info on the base came up, Pandora turned on her Comm and radioed to Ody*”I think i got some info on the place from the panel”, she said swiping through the files.
