“Ohh so basically making the water have the property’s of oil”, she said puting her hand to her chin.
-
Apollo shook his head. “No, it’s just waterproof fire. Now look we’re almost here, we’re going to miss it if we keep jabbering.”
-
“Alright”, Pandora said spinning her sword in the air and catching it, she ruffled her wings in excitment and looked forward searching for the ship.
-
Andaluza pulled up the holodesk and selected the asteroid that Apollo’s facility was lodged on. “There it is! Turn the ship around and dock into it!”
-
Faye looks over at the monitor, “Should we use escape pods to get in or does it even matter?”
-
Apollo quickly aimed the ship backwards and hit the plasma thruster button. “We’re on par with its speed! Almost there, someone check out the window!”
-
Andaluza ran out and stared out the window. “Increase speed by 1 inchmeter!”
-
Faye looks at Andaluza and facepalms, “THAT’S NOT A MEASUREMENT! For one! Those both measure distance. And two… They’re of two completely different measuring systems!!”
-
Apollo rolled his eyes and hit the dock button. “I heard the good click! We’re in!”
Apollo opened the doors and the laboratory was neatly polished. There was a huge control room with four supercomputers, as well as four tubes that were about 8 feet tall. There was a massive loop tunnel and various rooms. “Alright, welcome to my facility. I expected it to be dirt-”
A small digital eye floating on a small pedestal looked at Apollo and spoke in a robotic voice. “Good to see you, master, I mean Apollo, who are your allies?”
Apollo pointed to Faye, Pandora, and Andaluza. “This is Faye, this is Pandora, and the ugly looking one is Andaluza. So, cartographer, how’s the old place?”
-
Faye stares at the eye for a long moment… No AI would mess up the programing and say master rather than Apollo… She puts a hand to her weapon and looks at the others, “Keep alert…I have a bad feeling…”
-
Andaluza walked out with Faye. “Duh, nobody cares.” Andaluza stared at the facility and then the little eye. “Cartographer? What does it do, map things out?” Andaluza scoffed and plopped down in front of the supercomputer. “So, what now?” Andaluza started typing up random things and messing with the panes.
-
Apollo looked at Faye weirdly. “It’s a glitch with cartographer. He’s programmed to say master but that’s disgusting. So I taught him how to say Apollo. It’s my old house, it’s safe.”
-
*Pandora went to the other computer and made a scan for lift forms other than them*
-
Faye shakes her head, “Either way…” She scratches her head and looks at Apollo. “That’s…really…suspicious.”
-
Apollo shrugged. “I have a blank room, we can all try the pressurized exhalation. Faye, if you don’t want to come you have full access to all the computers.”
Cartographer hovered over Faye’s feet and apparently licks her ankles. “You smell good. I will teach you the ways of this computer.”
