Chapter Five: Retribution

Faye gets back out of the room, then sneaking over to Mizdog’s quarters… She takes a few EMP grenades from a downed trooper. Probably required later to fight the guy…

Apollo burst into the room first, slamming into Midzog and holding him down. “Stay down!”

Harvin exploded into the room next, not noticing Midzog and Apollo on the ground. “Midzog! They are invading us! Have you found out yet? Jack!”

Midzog smiled at Apollo.
“Cute.” He immediately headbutted Apollo with the force of a head-on collision, instantly freeing himself and raising his legs up, kicking him squarely in the stomach and across the room, slamming him into the wall. He stood up, adjusting his shirt.
“Well, then. Are you here to kill me?”

Apollo slid across the ground, on his feet. “Do you want me to? Alright.” Apollo instantly grabbed the floor panel and threw it at Midzog, hiding a wave of fire behind it.

He knocked it to the side easily, yawning mockingly.
“That it? Tsk tsk tsk.”

Apollo looked directly at Midzog, his eyes heating up. “Remember your son, Andaluza?” Apollo instantly exploded the area under Midzog’s feet, throwing him back-first into the ceiling.

Midzog leapt into the air, clearing himself of the fire and landing feet-first on the table, still unimpressed.
“Do better than that, I’m bored.”

Harvin slowly put Midzog on the ground, assuring he was alright. “Is Apollo bothering you?”

Apollo set the table on fire and flipped it into the wall, jamming Midzog inside the wall with it.

“Get off me, fool.” Midzog said, waving away Harvin’s careful hands, trying to polish his boots.

Midzog leapt into the air before the flame touched him from the table, smashing apart the wall and landing once again on the floor.
“My turn.” He said, smiling. In an instant, Midzog was next to Apollo, knocking him so hard to the floor that he went through it, landing on the next floor down. He wiped his hands.
“Are we done?” Right then, Jack burst into the room with Rose, skittering slightly and staring at Midzog.
“Ah, you’ve arrived!” Midzog said delightedly.

Harvin looked at Apollo, his eyes turning white. “It’s alright Midzog. You worry about your boots. I’ll take down the Ascendii.” Harvin quickly flew into Apollo, flying through the same corridor Jack, Faye, Geralt, and Rose were coming through, slamming himself and Apollo into the end of it, too fast for anyone to perceive, then launching him up into the top tower.

Faye stays at the doorway of the room, looking at Apollo. She feels the pain in her head as she tried to aim, her form slowly reappearing. Her mind aches and she holsters her weapon, lobbing in the EMP towards Mizdog, hoping that would malfunction his exo-suit thing…
