Rose looked at her own file and stared at a picture for a little while, she shifted through her file and gathered all the pictures before burning all but one.
-
Apollo went over to Rose. “Mind if I look? I guess it was personal, but if someone else knows, you’ll be better off.”

That was back when you were a soldier in the Exansis and I was a low-life bandit. I was a lot skinnier back then.” Jack said, lamenting.
-
Apollo looked over Jack. “I probably looked the same. Kind of. Well, I actually wore armor back then.”
-
Rose looked at Apollo, debating a bit before handing it to the pure breed quietly. Keeping the photo.
-
Apollo looked at it once and handed it back, careful not to bleed it to anyone. “If you ever want to talk, let me know.”
-
Apollo looked at the mission charts. “Of all planets, why is Midzog on Ctherramore-3? The landscape is horrible. The surface is below frozen clouds, and that’s the tops of cliffs. There are drops that lead to the planet’s core off of cliffs. Watch your step. The good thing is, the air is thick. This makes flying extremely easy. In fact, the air is so thick, if someone with Jack’s strength wears flat bottomed shoes, they can effectively leap twice, but only twice. The air will be extremely cold, so if you feel it heating up, tell us immediately. That means the ground will crack. Ctherramore is a hostile paradise. If you get cut, it will heal twice as fast. You don’t need to drink water, since the air is already damp with moisture. And-” Apollo decided to stop talking because that was all the information that was needed. Instead, he began examining the mission suit he was wearing.
-
“Maybe because its a great thing for isolation and thus, protection. It works in his benefit.” Rose said thoughtfully.
-
Apollo put his head in his hands once he realized what Midzog was able to do. “You’re right, Rose. But the frozen clouds. He managed to make entire ships mirror through them. He has thousands of Ascendii workers. Hopefully our starfighter will be small enough to slip through the overcast. If we hit the cloud, we might shatter it.”
-
Rose looked shocked at this, “Oh dear…Hopefully he won’t catch sight of us because if he does…we will have an even more difficult hell to go through. Do you suppose Ms. Asphodel can help change our appearance?”
-
“Humans are based off of carbon, but we’re silicon beings. We don’t breathe oxygen, we respirate with nitrogen. Human skin can be cut easily. Our muscle fibers are tougher. I can go on for hours about our differences, but the point is, we can’t change our appearances. We have to go legitimately as ourselves.”
-
Rose pouted a bit, “I wish they had more advanced technology, but then again. Ascendii do not need to depend on technology like Humans do….”
-
Malice looked at Rose “It would probably be better off if humans were without technology it leads to a lot of problems and struggle for power and then corruption and war.”
-
Apollo thought about Rose’s comment, but didn’t agree with it. “Humans are naturally weak, compared to what is out there. However, their processing power of their brain is irreplaceable. They are more creative than Ascendii. Technology is the only chance they’ve got.”
