Chapter Four: Fork In The Road

<i>The bullets hit the unguarded machine, turning it to a mess of wires and broken steel.</i>
“Fuck! There goes our exit.” Jack said, thinking. He peeped over the boulder, immediately bolting back down after bullets attacked the place Jack’s head was a moment ago.
“Six guys. Okay, wait here. I’ll make a distraction. When you hear bullets, start throwin’ fireballs.” Jack got up, sprinting towards the soldiers. The sound of ammo unloading into the air followed directly after.

Apollo rang up Rose again. “How many are there? If there are more than eight, let me know! I’m ready to get to you two.”

Rose followed Jack’s advice and shot some fire and some electricity fueled balls at the shooters, making sure to be accurate in her aim. Rose ducked as they started shooting towards her, finding her more dangerous than Jack. “Uh…I don’t know? Its alright, we can take them.”

Jack lied on the sandy ground, trying to regenerate from the bullets that have torn apart the torso of his suit. He got up, stumbling slightly and tackling one of the men, yelling.

Apollo got out of the hangar and simply hoped for the best.

Mimi looked at Faye “Please do not call my mistress that she’s currently unstable right now so it would be for the best if you refrain from saying such things.”

Apollo looked down from the turret. “Zooming…wow…they’re doing pretty good…fuck I can’t see anything.”

Harvin rocketed out from the OGA HQ and landed in front of them. “Hold your fire! Well, who have we got here? Natives! Raiders!” Harvin darted forwards and lifted Jack up from the ground. “Do you know him? Apollo Venport? ANSWER TO ME!” Harvin shook Jack extremely hard as he spoke.

Rose quickly dived out of the rock and zoomed towards the men, using her knives to quickly end their lives. Her movements quick and precise as her eyes glowed a bit.
With her eyes glowing she turned to Harvin. “Let him go…”

Jack stared at Apollo, yelling about if he knew Apollo Venport.
“What the fuck are you talking about, HiFly? How did you even get here?!” He said, dazed and confused.
((To clear up confusion, HiFly is Apollo’s old nickname and rapper name.))

Faye looks at the thing, “Refrain from what? Agreeing with her? Geralt needs to focus on the mission, as she said.”

“From calling her those type of names” Mimi says.

Faye shakes her head, “As you wish.” She checks on the shields and other ship systems, making sure they all worked properly.

Harvin lifted up Jack. “HiFly? No, I’m Harvin. I don’t believe you have met me before. I’m Harvin Vaelance-” Harvin threw Jack into the rock. “-son of General Midzog-” Harvin threw the rock with Jack in it into the ground. “-I’m out to destroy Apollo!!” Harvin lifted up Jack and threw him onto Rose. “I don’t know who you are. But get out of here. NOW!!!”
