Katherine nodded at Malice and lead her to everyone else, “When will we be arriving at our destination? Wherever that is.”

*Pandora sat lost in thought not hearing Katherine’s coment, she staired at her palm,”I still can’t controle the heat of my flames really…stupid scientists”, she thought then make a purple flame in her palm focusing on keeping it heatless*

Faye rolls her eyes as she listens to Jack. Apparently he didn’t know what excommunication was… Nonetheless, she continues to talk with Andaluza through the radio, “Thanks. You’re honestly the first to say that…” She smiles a bit, remembering him now.

Geralt gives up with looking for answers right now and takes a seat in the back of the cockpit, until the flight calms down so he can explore for his weapons. He still has his ammunition, but all traces of his bolt-action rifle and automatic rifle are lost.

Jack glanced at Faye, seeing her smile at Andaluza’s words.
“Look, I’m sorry, I am, but I just don’t do the whole sentimental lovey shit.” He said, digging around the cluttered cockpit of Betty.
“It must really suck to lose your family, trust me, I know how it feels. But you move on, eventually.” Jack mumbled, sticking a cigarette in his mouth and lighting it.
“You just gotta get past those first three weeks where you really feel like death. Then after that, you stop thinking about it 24/7. Which makes it easier.”

Faye shakes her head, her attention on the radio. Sure, he doesn’t do the lovey shit now… What was that girl’s name again that he got killed? She knew she’d get over it eventually, and she knew she didn’t need heartless over here telling her that! She takes another breath, wiping the tears away from her own face.

“Hey.” Jack said, seeing her cry.
“Look, they might be still alive. Yeah, the planet got bombed, but it was only a portion, and the entire thing didn’t get hit. So there’s probably a good chance that they survived it, so don’t worry. Right after this mission we’ll turn around and scour the planet for survivors and look at medical records for injuries and deaths, okay?”

Faye wipes her eyes a bit, “Alright.” Faye smiles a bit, looking over at him, “That’s…nice of you…Are you okay?” Faye looks back at the radio, then to him, honestly not sure what to think about him anymore…

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m not mean all the time, that’s usually just so that I don’t get attached.” <i>Jack sighed, turning the radio on.</i>
“Y’know how it goes. You meet someone on your team, you befriend them, you start to like them, and then they die.” Jack stared out as he flew the ship through the asteroids.

Geralt, observing the conversation between Faye and Jack, is amazed. So, he does have a heart after-all. I’m impressed Jack. He’d know how to deal with loss, he had to deal with many members of his team dying. I think one of them was his lover as well. He can’t do any other business, though. His whole life has been a battle. He wouldn’t fit well in normal society. Hell, would any of us? I think Rose might be the one who could fit in the easiest, but the question is whether she’d fit in due to being a spy all this time or because she is genuinely more civil than the rest of us.

Odysseus walks up behind Andaluza, and sees Faye crying over her lost parents. His eyes glow red, and he walks up beside Andaluza. “Mind if I speak to her briefly? In private?”

Faye looks at the radio and speaks a bit quieter, “It’s Faye. What do you need, Odysseus?” She asks, starting to hook up a headset she found on the ground of the ship.

<i>Ozymandias whispers in a hushed tone, making sure that the others do not hear. </i>”Your parents are still alive. Don’t ask me how I know, but I do. They are currently in one of the safest places in the Universe as we speak.”

Faye nods a bit, listening closely. She wouldn’t say anything that would blow her cover, not this time… She then asks in a very hushed whisper, making sure Jack couldn’t hear “Who authorized it?”
