Chapter Four: Fork In The Road

Apollo looked around on the ship, looking at Chiron-5 looming in the empty blackness. “Pandora, we’re nearly here. Andaluza just went to visit Faye, he’ll be back soon, so I guess it’s just the two of us.” Apollo shuddered at the thought of spending a week with Pandora, as he wasn’t quite ready to freak out when he saw the rest of the team. “Decided that you’re a better candidate than Rose because you don’t have split personality problems. And you have a sword that doesn’t melt at 500 degrees.” Apollo remembered Heiklm’s blade, which melted like butter after two minutes of exposure to a flame. That was funny.

Geralt smiles and yells Thanks! Then tears into the Salami devouring it in a mere 12 seconds. Oh, that was great. How old is that bourbon?

“Mask? Where are you?”

“Depends on what you want.” Jack said, opening the freezer and sorting through the massive amounts of liquor.
“We’ve got…600 year old, 500…400…200…and one from five years ago. Also some whiskey if you’re feeling it.” Jack turned around, looking at him.

Faye looks around, “Andaluza?!” She stands up and looks around more thoroughly.

“He’s on the radio.” Jack shouted.

“Yay”, Pandora said happy that she can help.

Andaluza rolled his eyes and came into Faye’s location. “Yeah, it’s me.”

Katherine rolled her eyes at Apollo but nodded in understanding. “Understandable,”

Apollo landed the ship, this time gently, on the smooth grass of Chiron-5. “We’re here! What you’re about to see is going to shock you. A lot.” Apollo slowly opened the window to reveal a massive command cruiser on the ground, destroyed, with twisted metal all over it. “This is the K.I.R.K. cruiser. It was made by one of my friends a long time ago.” Apollo opened the boarding ramp and flew down to the bottom. “Nitrogen concentration is high this year, we’ll be more alert than ever.”

Faye looks up at him and smiles wide, “Andaluza!! It is you!!” She looks him up and down, “Wow, you’ve gotten in shape!”

Andaluza realized he was wearing a human T-shirt that made every single muscle in his body appear prominent. “Oh, no don’t take it that way. I thought I look scarier like this.” Andaluza threw Faye half of a chocolate bar that Apollo gave him earlier during the trip.

Suddenly, Jack tackled Andaluza, slamming him head-first into the refrigerator and knocking it over, holding him.
“How the fuck did you get in here?!” He shouted, concerned about how Andaluza’s evil.

Odysseus steps off of the ship, glancing at Faye and then raising an eyebrow upon seeing Jack and Andaluza’s scuffle. “Get off of him Jack. We need a plan.”

Andaluza lifted Jack off of him and threw him at the silverware counter. “Don’t make me beat your ass again, you hear? I’m on your side and I’m going to make this work.”
