Jack came out of his room with a black eye and dried blood across his nose, digging in the fridge for a beer. With a loud crack he opened it, interrupting them.
“What did I miss?” He asked, putting it against his dark swollen eye.

Apollo began brushing the soot off of himself. “Jack! While you were drinking in orbit with no idea where we were down on the surface of Hesperia we kind of just took out two OGA people like Ree and Andaluza. We’re going back to Earth now. Thanks for nothing, group leader.”

He scoffed.
“Like you needed my help for taking out a little shit like Andy and his friend. Are you that incompetent?” He asked.

Apollo jabbed Jack in the shoulder. “Hey. You’re missing the point. You should’ve at least done something about it. Ree is a powerhouse, much like Ozymandias. We did it just fine without you but it would’ve been over quicker. They also got away. Andaluza is easy, but Ree is a different story. You should’ve seen that guy before you make assumptions about them.”

Malice looked at Katherine “Perhaps we should leave now”

“It’s not my fault that even though you outnumbered them in skill and body count, you still let them escape.” Jack said, pushing Apollo’s hand off him as he talked. He turned and looked at Malice and Katherine.
“You two are back on the team again, huh? What made you come crawling back?”

Katherine nodded as she looked back at Malice, “Yes, we should. I believe Heiklm is still with the kids, after that we can check out Sneim, I heard they’ve been having some trouble lately.” Katherine ignored Jack.

Apollo turned Jack back to him. “Look, Ree can install abilities on himself and is unstable. Capturing them would only endanger everybody else. And if you don’t like our style then you should just leave. You’ve done it once, you can do it again.”
(Oooooh….)

“I never wanted to come back. When I tried to leave, you forced my door open, your best buddy tried to kill me, and while under your control, the team was so unstable I had to kick Andaluza out, retake my spot as leader, just to prevent any more unnecessary deaths. Thank fucking christ he attacked me, right? Imagine if he did that to someone who actually can die. And besides, you fuckers won’t get off my ship.”

“We forced your door open to protect you. Instead, you ungratefully want us slammed out. Andaluza was mad just because you wanted to seize control of a team that worked until now, which an unstable madman is at the wheel! If you hadn’t kicked out Andaluza, the team would’ve been smoother and we wouldn’t have Ree problems, however you shouldn’t know since you’ve never even had the guts to fight him face to face! Let’s stop this before it gets out of hand and come up with a resolution.”

“Agreed” Malice said looking at Katherine.

“Oh, I need protection now? You need protection from me.” <i>Jack said, his eyes turning dark.</i>
“You’re right, Apollo. I am unstable. That’s why I’m trying to work alone. Why I’m trying to stay away from you. Because I already almost killed Andaluza twice, once stopped his heart, and who knows what other person I might go nuts on if provoked. Andaluza was ‘mad’ because I told him to promptly fuck off when he tried to extend a loving hand my way. He killed your sister, and you don’t give two shits. You’re not Shavari’s brother, and you’re not mine either. I’m the unstable madman. Tell me how well the team’s been going since I’ve been gone. You haven’t done anything. Anything! The only reason why the children have been rescued is because Calypsa got involved. You’re fucking pathetic, all of you. Fuck you, Apollo. Don’t talk to me about cowardice when you can’t even stop two murderers in your life just because they’re friends with you, Ody and Andaluza.”

“So……Parapara, mind teleporting us away? I believe we overstayed our welcome.”
