Chapter Six: Split Paths

Apollo shut off the comms and spoke softly so the kids wouldn’t hear. “Ozymandias is on Earth. We have to get the kids to Chiron before we go to him. We’re going to Earth afterwards not for the kind of head-busting you’re looking for. Ree might be there too.”

*Pandora nodded in understanding*”Ill just bust his head then”, she whispered back, then turned to looked over to the kids not really knowing what to say besides,’If you see me go scary mode run away’, she decided the best thing to do was not talk. She probably freaked kids out anyways with her swords and weird hair color.

Parapara got tired of all their endless talk “You….beings are extremely weak willed. Saying you cut your connections but still going back to them.” Parapara said as Heiklm grinned and broke Malice’s and Katherine’s comms. “I think we’ll be taking our leave now, good luck with your petty war.” Parapara opened a portal around the kids and his group bringing them to a place he calls home, a place in hell.

Apollo watched the entire Parapara thing unfold. “Y’know…we should just go…it’s not like Ozymandias is waiting on us.” Apollo nervously walked to the door and smashed it open. “The OGA will pay for it!” Apollo then darted towards his OGA ship and opened the boarding ramp. “Pandora, we have to find Jack!”
Apollo waited in the cockpit with his comms open to Jack’s line. “Jack, we’re going to be there soon. When you find him you might want to stay away from him. If you find Ree, well…just don’t find Ree.”

((Ahem, and Andaluza??)) Andaluza entered Apollo’s ship and set his line to Jack as well. “Hey, Apollo, when we get there, are you worried about Ree? He has too many abilities and is a ticking time bomb.”
Andaluza pulled out an OGA tablet and pulled up Ree’s ability list. “See? He’s unstable enough.”

“I can take care of that”, Pandora said stepping in the ship.”I can mangle him or cut his head off before he explodes”.

Ree stood patiently next to Ozymandias on Earth. “Uh, sir? Don’t you suspect Earth is too obvious a planet for someone of your status to be in? I mean, it’s where that idiot ex-experiment, hangs around. Never seen him in action. Probably really bad. Also, I need a glitch test by tomorrow. Apollo Venport blastwaved my entire mainframe and I’m not recovering.”

“I’ll be on earth if you need me, guys. I’m gonna start shaking down the nearest corps with affiliations to OGA. If anywhere, he’s probably out in the desert or cities. I’ll figure that out and maybe get a few more recruits for the team. After this mission, after we arrest Ozymandias, I’m gone.” <i>He sighed, running a hand through his short buzzcut, missing his old hair.</i>
“Get the kids to Chiron-5 at the police station on Kran, that’s where they’ll be waiting for them. Then rendezvous at Faye’s old apartment. If I’m not there by 12 AM sharp, assume I’ve been captured. Signing out.” Jack’s comms turned off.

Ree closed the Ozymandias hologram. “Tracking systems. Works perfectly, doesn’t it?”

Andaluza copied. “Yes, this is Andaluza speaking. We have got the kids and are on our way to Chiron-5. By the way, one of them just evaporated our water supply, he better get a time out when we get back.”

Later...
Jack threw the terrified man in the oversized business suit onto the table, the fragile wood splintering under his fat weight. Jack reached over, grabbing him by the tie and yanking him into Jack’s face.
“I know your company’s working for them. Don’t lie to me!” He dragged him across the floor, the obese man sputtering as he swung him into a table.
“You tell me what you know!” He growled, grabbing him.
“Wait-wait wait wait!” The man pleaded. “All I know is th-the company took a few bribes back in May, just easy stuff like-“Before Jack could search further, the door burst open, a human OGA soldier walked in with short cropped black hair, cracking his knuckles. As Jack turned around, the businessman scrambled away, yelling for security.
“You picked the wrong person to start a fight with, soldier.” Jack smirked, thinking he was just a fresh meat recruit.

The door slammed open. “LET HIM GO!” Ree bolted forward, knocking over Jack and swiping the recruit to the top of the bridge, telling him to go. “Who are you? What exactly are you? Stop touching my stuff!”

Jack kicked him off, almost knocking him across the room, leaping back onto his feet.
“I’m Jack Monroe, also known as the OGA’s number one enemy. Who the hell are you?” He said gruffly, dropping into a fighting stance, his fists raised.

Ree quickly regained his footing, but was taken aback by this man’s strength. “Ree Ulserane. Ozymandias’s right hand man. Stop touching my soldiers.” Ree jammed his hands into the ground, creating an electric wave that flew towards Jack.
