Chapter Three: Three Dead Men

*Pandora wakes up and streatches her wing off her, she sat up and looked over to Apollo*”Nope!”, she said rubbing her eyes.

[This is one Ascendii you can count on!] “So, ready to take your watching post? If anything happens just wake me up. I got so bored halfway in I made a little fort.”

“A fort?, She said done rubbing her eyes.

Apollo pointed to the structure outside made of trees and hardened lava. “Yeah, that thing. Easy to shoot fire from the top of. Also, that thing over there-” Apollo drew Pandora’s attention to the 9 foot tall bird, which looked like an emu that ran into an Ascendii flying at full speed. “That’s Sir Edward Frontback Skerlete III, or at least what his nametag says.”

*Pandora smiled and started laughing at the name of the bird statue*”how did you?”, her wings shuddered with her laughter, once she was done Laughing she simmered down to a giggle, she cleared her throat,”sorry I have the giggles, cool bird and fort bro”, she said smiling.

Apollo snickered. “The bird is real…”

“Wait what!”, she said totally shocked.

Apollo laughed again as Frontback Skerlete III sprinted away into the trees. “Ok, well, the sun’s rising in about 2 hours. I’m going to get some sleep, then I’ll be set for the next two weeks.”

“Not what I meant but its alright too.” Rose studied Andaluza’s wings, “They look sorta like Mr. Purebreed’s…any chance you two are related?”

*Pandora nodded*”Alright you rest ima watch”, she said before stepping out of the tent, she stretched her wings and folded them again a couple times before flying up to the fort, she poked the root of her wing to try and get night vision, she felt her eyes turning grey but it faded, she poked her wing again, her eyes turned the gray, she scanned form atop the fort.

Andaluza looked at them as well. “They’re blue. That’s what makes it different. We’re not related, actually. We spend so much time attacking each other we’re opposites of the same.” Andaluza studied at his stocky build, gained from years of not being able to fly. “Let’s try this.” With one powerful kick off the ground, Andaluza flew into the facility like a rocket.

*Pandora Practiced her fire making it circle around the fort, the fire was purple so it did not radiate any heat , she dispelled it when she was starting to loose focus and went back to making the fire heat up and simmer down in her hand as she watched over the horizon the birds would come out soon and sing their songs, if their were any birds on this planet*

Faye was back at her home. She was with her father and mother. She was watching them from her own room through the door. She was a small child again as well! She looks at them both. Her mother’s icy blue eyes were like hers, but she had the pale hair of her father…What was going on? Just a few moments ago she was on a ship with Geralt, Rose-Katherine, Jack, Malice, and Apollo… She smiled and looked at her family. Then…someone threw a can into the room…then the room filled with a green cloud of smoke… her parents fell to the floor, their eyes completely white and pupil-less…
She wakes up with a scream, back in her normal reality…But, she wasn’t sure where she was, just awakening and all…

Rose laughed in glee as she saw Andaluza zoom around, “Nice thing getting your wings back huh?” She didn’t join him in the sky, like Katherine would, she wouldn’t dare.

“Nice? Have you never flown before?” Andaluza took flying to another level by setting himself on fire, turning into a comet, then crashing on the ground. “I’ve never felt so free.”
