Chapter Three: Three Dead Men

Apollo put his hand on Rose’s shoulder in a calming manner, to make her eyes return to their normal color. “Let’s get in the gunship and head back to the cruiser. We’re done on Yestermn for now.” Apollo broke out of the hug and began rolling up the tent to put in the cargo hold.

Andaluza shook his head and smiled back at Rose. “Bleh, just call me Andy.” Andaluza thought about showing off what he could do, but realized that modesty was of the essence for now, and that he and Apollo weren’t on the best of terms.

*Pandora pulled away from the hug and went to pack everything up and load onto the Gun ship makeing record time of 5 seconds…just kidding it took 10 minutes*

Rose eye’s only dimmed slightly as she turned to Malice and Odysseus, leading them to the ship while whispering to Malice on the side, “I can’t….due to the…..try…..no……maybe….leave….” The only words that were able to be heard between the two.

Apollo continued loading the gunship with the supplies, and finally began to board the crew. “Guys, we’re going to go. All ready to come?” Apollo looked warmly at Andaluza, trying to get terms better between them.

Andaluza looked darkly at Apollo, as if he was going to be stormed into the ground in a flash of purple light, but decided to acknowledge his look and get into the gunship.

“Whoo!!”, Pandora said being a Dork and she jumped into the ship rather than walk in like a normal person.”I just realized I am like an avatar I can control metal and fire!”, she said enthusiastically, she staired at the inside wall of the ship for a full 5 minutes and nothing happened. Pandora have up and sat down in a chair inside.

Apollo walked to the cockpit, checking that everyone was onboard, including Malice and Rose. “Let’s go, I think we have enough fuel to reach the cruiser with Faye.” Apollo took a seat next to Pandora. “Hey, I wanted to say what you did out there today was incredible. I think you’re my friend, not just someone I have to protect. I’ve never had more than one friend until you came along.” Apollo got up and walked to the cockpit again to turn on the gunship.

*Pandora smiled*”Thank you, your my friend to”.

Andaluza stretched out on his seat, making sure not to hurt anything that has been badly injured. “Uhh…I don’t feel so good…”

Malice nods to Rose and whispers back “I understand”, she then noticed Andaluza was injured s she decided to us her magic to heal him up as well.

Andaluza smiled. “Thanks.” He then put his hands behind his head as if he were being hauled in to the police station. “So…what do we do now?”

Apollo aligns the gunship to the cruiser for landing. “Alright once we land. Rose, Andaluza, and Pandora, you should go to the cruiser’s medbay and clean up your wounds, I’ll be there in a minute. Odysseus and Jack are doing something else but I need to tap into the OGA’s Project Kappa outline. We can’t afford to lose anymore planets. Odysseus said we cannot destroy these machines, but we have to disable them in some way or the other. Dismissed.”

Rose rubbed her still glowing eyes, they were agitating her more than usual. “I’ll be fine, I just need some time alone is all…” As soon as the ship landed, Rose rushed out, rubbing her eyes the whole way.

Apollo followed Rose instead of tapping into Project Kappa. “Hey, are you feeling alright? Your eyes are still silver and that’s not good. Rose…you look injured much worse than you might think. Keep a tab on it, if it persists we might have to extract the SL out of your bloodstream.”
