Chapter Three: Three Dead Men

Katherine stopped, “Dog? Did I know someone…?” Katherine sat down and put her head in her hands, “Since when did I become involved…? I hope I don’t see the others….though if Jack changed that much I wonder about the others….”

Jack walked up to Ody, Geralt and Apollo.
“So, uh, yeah. I think it’s time for us to return trying to find the children hunted by the OGA, and-” Jack was interrupted by an intercom coming from within his suit.
“<i>I apologize for interrupting.” The voice of Midzog said. Jack’s eyes widened in confusion.</i>
<i>”I would have let you all die without you knowing it was me, but it would be a bit…anticlimactic. So I’ll give you this. Essentially, this worked out great for me, even though Jack’s survival was unexpected. But it paid off in the end, since he’s walking around with you all. I truly pray one of you will survive so I can continue these games, this is more just…apart of the fun. Essentially, your suit is a bomb. Have fun dooming your teammates.” Jack shouted in distress.</i>
“Oh, fuck!”

Jack panicked, immediately jumping through the forty-story window. He wasn’t quick enough, because there was an explosion, a few floors down, the building suddenly leaning as it began to slowly fall over from the damage of the explosion.

Ryep gra, ijure nyun ha kyu, kon reninda gyere tio welp, kon ka tio poin xi kyou mimi. Ijure, kyu jen knoq babi, helin, neimkri, opin mauwa.” Heiklm hurried a bit shocked at the sudden explosion.
Katherine’s eyes widened when she saw the explosion, “Malice!” Katherine ran inside the building.

Startled by the explosion and hearing Katherine she hurriedly said “Kyu, tio grane, iju seki, iju fulfill kyu prim kon knoq jin koko uyuune. Nepo sefer ben wami dilzju kyu, nepo sefer wogrena in gra ponka kyu opin gop kyu from tio deriu uua. Ryep gra, ijure nyun ha kyu, kon reninda gyrere tio welp, kon ka tio poin xi kyou mimi. Ijure, kyu jenkoq babi, helin, neimkri, opin mauwa.”

Katherine cursed herself for forgetting to put a spell that can link Malice and her, hopefully Heiklm or Mimi can hear this, “Cover Malice until I get there, now!!”
Heiklm accepted Malice but unfortunately did not hear Katherine, startled but the room suddenly cracking and chunks of ceiling falling.

Wondering what is going on Malice picks the dolls up and leaves the room.

Apollo instantly bolted out the same window and tied a telephone wire around the building. “Jack?!!?” Apollo knew Jack could survive almost anything, and explosions were like cuts and bruises, so he went back inside the building to Katherine. “The building will fall! I tied a telephone wire around it but we need to hold it. Fly to the top with me and help me get the building’s top half back together. Or you can fly down and-” Apollo was interrupted by a piece of the roof that fell through the ceilings to the ground floor. “Whatever just get Jack!” Apollo flew back up to the top of the building.

Heiklm follows after, protecting Malice from the falling pieces but suddenly their way is blocked when a wall collapsed, followed by others.
Katherine used her wings for protection, though it hurt, she kept going, running to the room only to find the hallway blocked. She turned towards Apollo, “I can’t! Malice is here! Malice! Are you anywhere close? Can you here me?”

Malice hears Katherine “I’m fine don’t worry! I’ll find a way out!” Malice says looking around her, “hm..~~~”

((Wait, so are all of us in a new place? I thought only Jack and Apollo mirrored to wherever Rose is and everyone else is back in Ody’s place? Can someone explain what is going on?))

Apollo began gathering four or five wires to hold the building but it still kept snapping, so he flew down to Katherine. “Get everyone else out of here, I think we’re expecting company soon!”

((We’re back in Jack’s facilities and it’s breaking [For Geralt]))

Katherine nodded, this was an emergency anyway, no need for some petty feelings to get in the way, “As long as you get Malice, where are the others?”

*Pandora helped Apollo gather wires to hold the building, her wing beats faltered a little when she tied the wires*
