Chapter Two: Outlaws

“You never know. A ball room full of associates of the most dangerous corporation in the universe all finding out you’re a spy at once is pretty dangerous. Hope you’re packing heat.”

Kika smirks and looks out the window of the ship, “I’ll make it as believable as I can.” She looks back a Jack, “How much longer you think? An hour if that?”

“Yeah. You can fly Betty if you want. I’m gonna chill in the back.” Jack flopped onto the beat-up couch inside the rest area of the old ship, lying down and putting headphones in.

Kika lies down on the seat she was on and proceeds to try and take a quick power nap. “Goodnight, Annabelle.” She whispers, stroking her hand across the seat of the ship as she softly kisses it.

Jack’s face slowly melted from the usual angry expression to actual tranquility as he slept.

Apollo looked sternly at.everyone.
“Don’t wake him up or else…”

Apollo, who realized he exposed himself.
“Fine, you caught me. I thought I should come with you, who knows who’s going to fall off what cliff or something.”

Odysseus wakes up and stares at Katherine with his eyes glowing red. “You look exactly like your sister…” He smiles for a moment, and then his eyes return to normal. He stumbles to the medbay and falls down on a bed. “What in Hades’ name happened?! I feel terrible! Where are the others?!”

Odysseus takes the White Tulip card from Katherine. “Where did you find this?! This is mine.” <i>Odysseus storms back into his room to return the card to his desk, only to see an identical one, the original, where he had left it. </i>”How…?” Odysseus suddenly becomes dizzy, and stumbles back to the medbay. He falls upon the bed and begins to experience seizures, before there is a flash of light and he is completely still.

Apollo immediately rushed to Ody and opened his mouth.
“Damn, someone, get some water for Ody!”
Apollo began to form a small grey cloud above Ody’s mouth, pouring in the condensed water and taking out electrical charges back into the cloud.

Rose stilled at the mention of a sister but she shook it off and followed Odysseus as she answered his question, “I don’t know where Mr. Human and Ms. Asphodel are, but everyone else is here.” Rose got even more confused when Ody said that, “It looks a bit too similar to Katherine’s drawings…..” She studied the identical one in Ody’s room and sees a signature at the bottom and it looks a bit different as well, whoever drew this one had a similar art style to the one in his hand though…..
<i>Rose jumped and tried to help Odysseus with whatever she can, whispering a spell that jolted the cyborg’s body, whispering another spell to keep that going as she tried to remember some healing spells as well.</i>

Odysseus mutters seemingly random things in his sleep, in a voice unlike his regular voice. “Yes … I understand … Member of the Council … Calypsa … Yes, her sister … Doesn’t know … Why … I took his spot for a reason.” Suddenly he awakens in the bed several hours later, and as his eyes remain closed he quickly sits up, yelling “I know!” As he opens his eyes, they flash red for a moment, but return to normal and he leans back in his bed.

Rose leans in a bit as she hears him start mumbling, what does he mean by that?
She jumped back when he yelled but went closer when he returned to normal. “Are you alright Mr. Cyborg?”

“What happened?”

“I arrived a bit late when I heard a ship leaving, I don’t know where Mr. Human and Ms. Asphodel are, but I believe everyone else is here. But are you alright, I saw you fainted when I arrived.”
