Chapter Two: Outlaws

Rose looked at Heiklm, who was still there. “They kicked out morkiu flir, this human was the cause.” Heiklm glared at Jack. Rose shook as her wings spread out behind her.
Rose tackled Jack and pinned him down, her wings increasing her speed, “What have you done! I thought we could trust you!!” Rose’s eyes grew dark as Heiklm stood beside her, his blade at Jack’s neck.

Jack gave Rose a look, and scoffed.
“You can leave too, if you want. I’m not keeping any of you here. This is fucking crazy. You don’t like my group that I recruited you in?” <i>Jack pushed Rose off of him.</i>
“Then leave.” He said, standing up.

Kika hears the shouts as she grabs her pistol, running over to the fight, aiming her weapon at Rose, “Rose! Get off of him!” She then aims for the demon, then to Rose again, “I knew there was something wrong with you…the cards…the split personas…”

Rose laughed as she slapped Kika away with her wing, “You did not recruit me, I joined of my own free will. I will leave, but mark my words, you will be on my hit list, Mr. Experiment.” Heiklm glared at the weak woman, “Like you are any better, you traitor Ms. Spy for the OGA.”
With those words, Heiklm and Rose left to find Malice, hopefully she hasn’t given up totally.

“Everyone, settle down.” <i>Jack grunted.</i>
“I don’t know why you guys keep fucking inviting new people to join the group, but in case you’ve forgotten, you’re not allowed to fucking do that!” Jack shouted.

Malice was far away from where the others were, “no trust, no trust at all” she said as she summoned up a portal back to her world “we’ll be accepted by the demons at least” she said with a small smile.

“Whether or not you chose to join on your own free will, this is still my fucking team. Good riddance.” Jack said, making a whacking-off motion.

Kika is knocked back a bit, still keeping grasp on her gun. She does a roll as she lands, glaring at Rose, “Which one is the real traitor? Me? Or the one who turned out to be a damned demon dealer!!” She growls and watches her leave, looking back at Jack. She smiles a bit at him and goes back to her duties at the ship.
She nods and looks over the diagnostic, adjusting power levels in different places for the best kind of efficiency. Then she smiles… Jack was on a demon’s hit list…

Odysseus appears in the hallway as a shimmering blue hallway. “I leave for 20 minutes, and all hell breaks loose. Seemingly literally.” Another figure emerges besides Odysseus, in a flash of purple… <b>The Aetheress. </b>She shouts at Jack in a booming voice. ‘Jack, you must apologize to Malice! Those dolls she has… They are quite unique, and partially of my own doing. An experiment was undertaken. Daomer children were captured. They were found to have a trace of innocence in them, and they are sanctioned by me. I helped raise them, and they were passed onto Malice.’

“Feh. I’m used to shit like that by now. When I say the Universe hates me, I have a story behind it and I truly do literally mean it.”

Rose found Malice crying and apologizing to Parapara in an alley of some sort, “I’m sorry about all of this…I truly thought they were different. But then again I should’ve known better. The human race, even in the past, was very much disgusting, and now too…Do you wish to come with us instead? I thought of making my own revolutionary group and it will be more accepting than this filth. How about it?” Rose hugged Malice as she said this.

“Damn it, Jack! What the hell is the matter with you?!” Odysseus’ hologram shouts, following behind him. “We need allies! You can’t push people away! You may have founded this team, but right now, you’re the one screwing it up! We don’t have time for infighting! We literally don’t! The OGA is advancing exponentially, and they are producing countless ships with their new resources! I should never have come back, but I cared about you. Fundamentally, the Keepers aren’t worth my time! You’re making it a joke! You know why? Because it’s personal! You’re going to get yourself killed!”

“Shut up, shut up, shut up!” Jack shouted, grabbing the small machine rolling around on the floor that created Ody’s hologram and threw it at the wall, exploding against it.
“I don’t care. I don’t work with Daomers. They kill and kill and kill. I don’t care if these ones are ‘special’, I’ve been tasked as a hunter for three-hundred years. Fuck them. And fuck you!”

Malice hugged Rose back “I trust you so I will go with you” Malice smiled back at her.

Another hologram device rolls in, and Odysseus becomes projected again. “I always keep around a spare. Do you see what I’m talking about? Yes, people died. We lost Shavari, and Seth, and more people than I care to count. But you know what? More people are going to die, unless you learn to trust again. That’s what sets us apart from the enemy. Ozymandias and Midzog think that they have the right to play judge, jury, and executioner. They’re wrong. But don’t you dare act like them, do you understand? You are not the judge of a species, or even a person! I need your help, Jack. And you need theirs. Malice, Rose, and Katherine. Three more people, well, two. But two that can make such an important difference. If we lose them now, then we lose everything. Haven’t you lost enough Jack? Hasn’t Apollo?”
