Kika wraps her arms around him, smiling as she rested her head on his shoulder for a moment, “Of course. I mean what I say though.” She looks up at him, “Now, let’s go to Mars!”

Odysseus sits in his ship in deep space, monitoring the locations of each of his team mates. “Hopefully none of them will do something stupid…”

Jack hopped into the ship, turning it on.
“I hope you like 700 year old music.” <i>Jack said, turning on the radio.</i>

Kika smiles and sits back, having a bit of a de-sha-vu moment. “Where did you go anyways? Earlier, when you left and came back on your own?”
She checks her bag and holds her datapad, “Just so you know, I have full authorization on the power controls, wherever you need it, I can make it happen.”

Katherine glared at the man in front of her, “What do you want?” The man stood strong under her stare, ” Kat-” “I told you not to call me of that title,” The man cleared his throat, “Uh Lutius, we are running out of supplies…” Katherine sighed, “Oh yes, gather Heiklm, Malice, Parapara, and Mimi. We are going to a meeting for this with some allies.”

“I went to the zoo. I, uh, like birds.” <i>Jack said, scratching his neck, slightly embarrassed. </i>
“Anyway, what happened earlier, we don’t just do OGA, it’s just that OGA is usually behind most of the bad shit happening in the universe. The Keepers are just trying to make things right. A lot of people have died in this line of duty. We’re technically vigilantes, since we’re doing this illegally, but no military has gone to the levels we have. I feel like everyone who joins that dies is my fault. And Shavari was my girlfriend. She was in the team, and when Nathan, who was a multi-corporation moneybag-maker trillionaire sold us out to the OGA, he knew my identity and the OGA raided our base and uh, killed a lot of people. I always think it’s my fault. It’s not fair I get to survive and they don’t. We all knew the risks of this job, but…”

Kika nods and smiles, “You like birds? No wonder you and Apollo got married in that tribe!~” She smiles and laughs, then stopping herself and listening to his story.
Kika keeps a straight face and listens, remembering the story of Nathan… Was that her place now? She keeps listening to the story, keeping a reassuring smile on her face, “You can’t take all of the blame…I won’t say you shouldn’t feel any, but it’s not completely your fault…wait, that doesn’t…I don’t think that’s what I…” She frowns, “I’m sorry, forget I said anything…”

“It’s okay.” Jack said. “Maybe Ody was right. Maybe I’ll start trusting again. I’ll start with you, since I didn’t at the start. You’ve proven to me I can. So I’ll take a step by trusting you. Sound good?” Jack smiled at her.

Katherine jumped as Malice seemingly appeared out of nowhere, Heiklm and the others following. “Oh there you are…it’s a meeting for trade and resources.” Katherine dismissed the man in front of her.
“Let’s get going, we have a lot of things to discuss.” Katherine snapped and they fell through a portal, into a different place, looking like a hallway underground. “What have you been up to Ms. Energetic?”

Kika smiles and giggles a bit, “I’d love to be your first step in trusting people! I’ll do a good job of it too!” She smiles and looks at her datapad. Perfect…she had gained his trust…and the rest were gone… “Yeah. I think you’re right though, about Malice and them…” She smiles again, “Hey, how about I trust you if you trust me?” She says, laughing a bit.

“Definitely. That works.” Jack said.
“This is gonna be an overnight trip, so if you want to sleep, go ahead. I’ll keep driving.”

“Been doing many many things but mainly gettin some special spell books back home” she said with a smile “it’s good to go back there sometime~”

Kika smiles and presses a few buttons on her datapad, “Threw a bit of power into the auto-pilot if you want to take a break at some point…” She smiles and pushes a button on her datapad, the screen going in a standby mode. She lies down and smiles, “Night Jack…” She pets the seat beside her, “Night Annie~” She whispers.
