    Very Rare Sighting of Apollo

Odysseus’ eyes glow red, as the ship is suddenly rocked about by the explosion. He stares at Jack for a moment, grimacing, and crosses the ship, moving to the docking bridge to cross over into his own ship. His hands are shaking. He turns back to Kika and Geralt, and yells to them, “Try to survive together in here! You’ll need to work together! I’ll come back for you!” Odysseus then boards into his own ship and detaches, rapidly cloaking the ship. His eyes turn completely red, and he hails Midzog, having turned into Ozymandias. “Why did you not consult with me regarding the termination of Kika? She is a valuable asset. Further, your unauthorized abduction and alteration of Jack is… Troubling. Do you have any idea how long it will take for me to explain that to the Council? I trust that you are in control of him? You know who our true target is. Jack can be employed as a weapon, but this is… Difficult. His anger was always present, but your actions are too direct. They won’t just attract notice, they’ll launch an unwelcome inquiry into my motives. You know what the consequences will be for you.” The final statement ends in a burst of anger, as small sparks fly and hum across Ozymandias’ armor.

I could give a rat’s ass what you think, Ozzy.” Midzog chuckled roughly, his voice like gravel.

“She exposed us, so you better get out of there. He’s going to kill them both. If you interfere, I’ll terminate you too. That’s an order from your superior. Now get, little pup.” Midzog fizzed out.

Ozymandias pulls back up the monitor, hailing Midzog again. “Would you like to revise that statement, inferior? To put it simply, I could have killed you at any point, and do you honestly think that your blasted experiment could kill me at all? You are an insect to me. You may have the experience of two millenia, but I have the might of thirteen million years. The Council has the authority to break you, if I don’t get to you first.”

Apollo grabbed the OGA transmitter and contacted Midzog. “Where is Jack?! Where are you keeping him?”

Katherine jolted up out of the bed as she grabbed her head, “What the hell?” she glared into the darkness, her eyes seemingly lighting up as she put strange mental barriers up, blocking any incoming messages. “I don’t have to deal with this.”

As Ozymandias waits at the monitor for a response, he pushes a button beneath the dash, establishing direct communication with the OGA fleet. Having personally overseen the training process, the OGA soldiers’ loyalty to Ozymandias and his cause was never a question. They were perfectly brainwashed; Kika a perfect specimen. Ozymandias had always been quite impressed with the results of his efforts; they would die for him, and more importantly kill for him. And now, he issued orders, vital orders. He typed into the ticker ‘OPERATION SHELLEY is in full effect. Position orbital vacuum capacitors in stable trajectory around Wave 1 Target Planets. Orders only to be accepted directly from High Commander-In-Chief Ozymandias, from secure line, reinforced by necessary security measures. Capacitors only to be made available to Ozymandias directly. All others to be executed on sight for treason if infiltration attempted. Good luck. To the New Age!’

Apollo rattled off a telegraphone message to Inversia. [Prepare…for…war…Ozymandias…coming…don’t…die…] “Spimphy do this for me.”

Apollo ducked in the corner and hid from the passing OGA soldiers.

Andaluza exploded the wall behind Apollo. “There you are you little-” He took a dive for Apollo, grabbing him by the arm and threw him out against the wall. “Looks like you’re not flying out any time soon.”

Kika, no longer OGA. Jack, OGA. Ody, abandoned us. Midzog, destined to die. Me, not yet. Geralt jumps up, throwing his then stopping with a snap, the force throwing his automatic rifle from his back to his front and into his hands. In the next second, as he brings up his rifle, many thoughts race through his head. I’m not dieing here. Dying is not an option. Dying has never been an option. I finally get to shoot Jack. Kika is behind me, unarmed. Jack bleeds. Kika is no longer OGA. Jack has a working heart. Kika may be on my side now. Jack is the living dead. Kika is vulnerable. No one alive is immune to their heart stopping. High frequency, high force, those together can stop a heart or at least make it skip a beat. Why did Ody have to drag me into this. Where the fuck is Ody, anyways? This is HIS mission. HE dragged me into this. This is HIS counterpart that is about to try to kill me. Kika was HIS hostage. This is HIS bloody responsibility. Hopefully this will be directed enough so as to not hurt Kika. He aims straight for Jack’s head and fires while preparing his voice for a heart-stopping, blood-curdling scream.

Faye looks up at the Jack that had exploded into the room. Her face completely turns white as he does, backing up as far back as she can, pinned to the wall as she breathes at a rapid pace, hyperventilating now. Her mind raced with all kinds of thoughts… how could she get out of this alive? Was Jack only after her? Why was she kicked out of the program? What does death feel like? If she made it out…where would she go?

She looks up and sees Geralt, noticing the anger on his face as she covered her ears, not wanting to experience this again, “NONONONONO!!!” She covers her ears and closes her eyes, getting into the fetal position and crying to herself…where did she go so wrong?

The sunconcious struggle between Odysseus and Ozymandias is for some reason extremely powerful, more powerful than Ozymandias had ever expected, but then again Odysseus matched him in strength. His mind had just given up a long time ago… Odysseus had chosen to forget. Now, Operation Shelley was in place. Unlimited power… To fight the Gods. But still, Odysseus was resisting Ozymandias. Ozymandias’ eyes stopped glowing red, and Odysseus’ eyes returned to their normal color. He turned the ship around, having been restored to Odysseus. Midzog and Ozymandias would speak another time; for now Midzog was not a threat. Jack was the threat. And Odysseus was pulling back to the ship. He docks alongside the Annabelle, and runs aboard. He steps between Geralt and Jack, stopping them both from advancing on each other. “Stop, Jack. Please. Listen to me. You know who I am. Don’t do this. Fight it. I know it hurts, but do it for me and Apollo. And do it for Shavari. Wake up!” Odysseus grabs Jack’s head and stares into his eyes.

Once Odysseus jumps in between Geralt and Jack, Geralt stops firing his weapon and tones back on the wave of sound he was about to release. Still looking down the sights of the weapon, Geralt says Nice for you to show up. Where the hell did you go. Geralt slowly backs up next to Kika and takes a second to notice Kika kneeling, no, in the fetal position. What is she so afraid of? Nevermind that, now, we need to get out of here. Kika, we need to go. Come on. Only taking one hand off of his weapon, Geralt reaches down to grab Kika’s arm. Come on, we must leave, or at least get away from Jack. I’ve worked too hard for you to die on me now.

“Forgot to mention.” Midzog’s voice echoed from Odysseus’ exoskeleton.

“I may have removed his immortality. Congrats on killing him.”
