“Midzog does not have the rightful power to excommunicate you. That power lies with me, and me alone. However, Midzog has directly chosen to defy my will. He wishes to combat the Council and me, and has proven even more of a loose cannon than I had ever feared. He has attempted to excommunicate me as well. So, would you join me in reclaiming the OGA, and killing Midzog? Ultimately, the OGA soldiers have been trained to loyally follow my command, and have been ordered to do so with regards to the new offensive already being carried out. However, I have always been a semi-absent leader, and Midzog will most likely seek advantage in that. So we must destroy him. Will you help me?”
-
Faye listens to what he says, her frown and sadness slowly going back into a cheery feeling in her. She didn’t loose her job… She didn’t have to say goodbye, and she wasn’t going to die. She stands a little straighter and looks at Ozymandias, “So, if we defeat Mizdog, will this gain us a better seat on the council, being how he has declared war against all of it?” She asks, now smirking. The day of hope has arrived…
This was when we would defeat gods… “I will gladly help you to the end of this war. My loyalty lies with thee.” She says, now saluting him, her icy gaze now serious and glad. “Oh…I am sure that you have seen this, but it seems that Rose-Katherine and Malice have…demons…so they may be a bit more of an issue to deal with later…”
-
“Their demons are trivial. Beings of another plane, but all governed by the same universal laws, containing the same traces of Universal DNA. And that is exactly what I have learned to exploit. They may pose a threat to us, but the balances of power are shifting. Midzog is a threat to the Council only in his damage to the Universe, not in the damage to the Council itself. You see, the Council is composed of… Abstract beings. But I have a plan… We will make Jack our own weapon. He was not meant to die today, and therefore he will not. Once he has been healed… His hatred of Midzog runs deep, and we will use that to destroy Midzog. Then, we will need to travel to an ancient place… But that is for another time.” Ozymandias begins removing the fractured shards of bullet from Jack’s skull, as well as the psychic tendrils which Midzog had attempted to use to control Jack. “Geralt fired a cleaner shot than I had expected. This is good. It makes things easier.”

“The only reason why you two are even currently alive is because I decided to remove Jack’s immortality. Without it, you both would most likely be dead. I am your saviors, and you treat me like this? You are expelled, Odysseus. Expelled from the OGA. I could come find you and kill you myself, but where’s the fun in that? Let’s try something with a little more fun. Whoever kills Odysseus and brings him back to me is granted a free spot in the OGA and 1,000,000 credits. In the case of an OGA member killing him, they will be granted a higher rank along with the money. I will be broadcasting this bounty all over the galaxy. Happy hunting!” Midzog’s voice fizzed out.
-
Ozymandias forcibly removes the transceiver from his suit, and throws it into the engine dispenser, destroying it in the radioactive exhaust. “Interesting that he said Odysseus, but of course he would over a deep-space communication… Those are always scanned. Odysseus will be very confused when he wakes up… Midzog knows that he can’t place a bounty on my head directly, or the men would turn on him. But Odysseus is a viable target, since none of them know our dual natures. And if he gets rid of him, he hopes to get rid of me. Genius…” Ozymandias returns to Jack, filling a strange metallic liquid into the gaping hole in his head.

“Adorable. However, I have decided to give her a second chance. I could easily come find you and murder you, Odysseus, for trying to usurp my throne over the past years, but no. Where’s the fun in that? Here’s how this will go. I will give 1,000,000 credits and a free spot into the OGA for anyone who murders Odysseus Zephyr and brings his body back to me. Faye, if you do this, it’s a free spot back into the group. However, think quickly, because I will be broadcasting this bounty across the galaxy. Happy hunting.” Midzog’s voice crackled, fizzing out.
-
Apollo considered Midzog’s message, which he heard reverberate through his ship.
“One million credits. What if there’s a reverse bounty, as in, whoever defends Odysseus is kicked out of the OGA and has to pay 1 million credits!!”
Apollo crashes his ship into Odysseus’s location and scrambles in. “What’s going on!? Where’s Jack?!”
-
Faye listens to the conversation, her mind slowly trying to make sense of it all. Mizdog wanted Ozymandias dead… Ozymandias and Mizdog both claim that they are the heads of the OGA… If she killed him right now…she would be richer and have her job back with that side of the OGA… but didn’t Ozymandias also say that he was in charge of most OGA soliders? She kept thinking over her options…
Geralt and Ody heard about the excommunication… Mizdog…tried to kill her… after she aided him in the capture of Jack… But what was Ozymandias doing with Jack now? “W-why do we still have Jack with us anyways?” She asks, setting her bag off to the side.
-
Geralt is still tutting along in Jack’s old ship, heading to the coordinates Ody gave him. During this time he is thinking about all of the options he has.
-
“Because we need him. I’ve lived for millions of years my dear, and it all gives a person one thjng. Perspective. Jack is a tool, just like Midzog is now a broken tool. Midzog wishes to do this to people.” Ozymandias gestures to the tendrils. “To manufacture a world based upon power. Absolute control. To sway the masses. But his vision is insufficient. He has no concept of the true nature of the Universe, and how trivial even a million years of reign are. Because eventually, he must fall. It is the spur of necessity, the weaving of inevitability. He doesn’t know who is to blame. That is why we must fight the gods. They are the cruel tyrants of us, enslaving us to death and tragedy and LOSS!” Ozymandias is overcome by rage for a moment, as small sparks flash across his armor. He stops for a moment, and then resumes, “I want a better world. A fair world. Fundamentally, Midzog can never do that. He can only perpetuate the evils of this one.”
-
Apollo listened closely to Ozymandias.
“Is that why you’re trapped in this room like a scrub? Hehehe…”
Apollo punched Ozy affectionately, denting a part of his exosuit. “Oops.”
-
Faye listens to his short speech and nods along with him. She could definitely see a bit of de-jah-vu going on… This was just like what she had dreams about… her dreams of her debates against masses of people… What Ozymandias described was exactly what they described, but she thought they were wrong… No, her vision was like Ozymandias’s, and for that she would follow him throughout this war.
Faye takes a breath and raises another salute, but quickly lowers it as Apollo gets in the room. “A-Apollo!?!” She smiles a bit, “I was wondering where you went, friend!” She smiles at him and winks at O (described as O because she wasn’t sure what form he was n now.) ((OOC: Chapter 3: Civil War?))

<p style=”text-align: center;”>MEANWHILE, AT THE OGA…

Andaluza began circling Midzog and attempting to hug him.“Dad can we do something fun? Maybe we can hop in that gunship and bust out some planets or something, I’m really bored..”
-
Apollo looked around the room, looking for danger, but stopped cold when the SL hormones stopped flowing.
“Jack…is…dead..?”
Apollo walked over to Jack’s body and took a seat next to it. “H-How long…was he…d-dead?”

“I am not your mother, boy. Do not touch me. If you want a mission, go to the dispatchers.”
