Chapter Two: Outlaws

Andaluza jumps to the side and burns the bullets and grabs the batons, holding out against the searing current, extracting all the energy from them. “You should not have done that.” Andaluza lands a square hit of the baton current on Odysseus’s chest, knocking him out against the ceiling.

Apollo looks at Geralt and mouths ‘bite his feet’ before reversing the gravitation to the roof. Apollo then rips the batons out of Andaluza’s hands and throws them back to Odysseus. “Really? I can understand why Midzog hates you so much!”

Andaluza smirked angrily at Apollo. “Want to see hate? You can see it ALL!”
Andaluza grabbed Apollo’s head and looked into his eyes, his own glowing the same tint of Apollo’s eyes. “Goodnight.”

Jack punched Andaluza in the face, stopping him from murdering Apollo. He stood, breathing heavily and still hooked up to the metallic tubes connected to his back and neck. He winked at Apollo and fell over, passed out from the overexertion of the attack.

<i>Andaluza returned his gaze to Apollo again. </i>”Oh you sleazy little…”
Andaluza turned Apollo’s eyes silver as well, creating an energy imbalance.

Apollo looked again at Andaluza, SL hormones pounding through his head. [Even if I die today you will as well.]
Apollo began to stare down Andaluza straight to his two beating hearts, then attempting to slow down his heartbeat through the wound Jack gave him on his face. “I can’t kill you, but mortally injuring you is good enough!” Apollo kicked Andaluza out of the airlock. “Sleep well!”

Andaluza regained his balance and stopped breathing intentionally so he could launch back to his own ship, cursing. “Blasted Jack! Blasted Apollo! WHY DO YOU EVEN NEED A CREW IF YOU CAN BEAT ME ALONE?! WHY?!”
He went back to Midzog, cursing and yelling and massaging the <i>aires where Jack hit him.</i>

“Hey bud.” Jack mumbled, on the floor of the shaken ship.
“Is Ed okay? Did y’all find a bird in my ship? Is he okay? Did you guys feed him?” Jack asked weakly.

Apollo hurried over to Jack and lifted him up into a bone-crushing hug.
“I thought we lost you forever…I’m so glad you’re back…”Apollo quickly released Jack. Emotions never seemed to stay with him. “What happened to you, anyways? What about Midzog?”
Apollo held his arm out and a big colorful bird fluttered to his arm. “Yeah. Know his name and his birthday. Getting along real well with Ed. He says he misses you…”

“Midzog messed with my head a bit. Took away my immortality. I think it’s back, I’m not really sure…do you know where Kika is? I might go and kill her since she did betray me to the OGA and has been spying on us and feeding information to Midzog.” Jack said.

Andaluza slammed the door open, storming angrily towards Midzog. “What the hell!! This hurts so much! How can I kill Apollo if Jack always gets in the way! Looked at this!” Andaluza showed Midzog three burned cuts on his arms and feet which were pouring with blood, as well as the lump on the side of his head that had clot, but began to turn blue and throb. “Jack. Hit. Me. Aren’t you mad? Can you kill him again?” Andaluza ranted on angrily, not having control of his emotions or power.

Apollo laughed at the name “Kika”. “It’s Faye now, and she’s on our side. No need to kill her, I believe she supports us now. Well, she is now for you”

Midzog looked up with a sultry expression, staring at the infant in front of him.
“You’re telling me, somehow without his immortality, that Jack survived three bullets to his skull by a damn sniper and he still through some impossible way in his weakened condition, managed to beat you?” Midzog asked coldly, menace in his voice,.

“Apollo, you’ve been-” Jack winced, yanking out the metal chords that were surgically drafted into his back. “-alive for 600 years in this business with me. Once a traitor, always a traitor. I’m killing her.” Jack grumbled.

Andaluza looked up at Midzog in deathly fear. “W-Well A-Apollo g-got me r-really good…an-he PUNCHED ME!”
