“Why do I have a bandage on my head?!” Jack ran to the bathroom, taking it off and looking in the mirror. He shouted in surprise, seeing a bullet wound on his forehead, along with one on the outside of his neck.
“WHY DO I HAVE BULLET HOLES IN MY FACE?!” He shouted.

Apollo looked bluntly at Jack. “You have amnesia, you nearly got killed by Midzog. You’re alive now but you forgot stuff. Basically, you’re not yourself anymore. Shavari is dead and Ice is nowhere to be seen, anywhere. You need to get your memory back.”

“Wh-how-Sha-Ice-no-future-Midzog-kill-amnesia?!” He gibbered, sprawled out.
-
Apollo quickly grabbed one of Ody’s spare batons and took out the electricity, putting in small amounts through Jack’s brain.
-
Odysseus grabs Jack by the shoulder and lifts him to his feet. “Get up, Superman. Come with me.” Odysseus leads Jack to the center of the dome, and presses a button at the central of the floor. Rooms rise up from the floor in a honeycomb pattern, containing all sorts of device and technology, and Odysseus yells to the group, “Don’t touch anything unless you know what it is. This place is dangerous, and we don’t need anyone altering local physics!” The floor then begins to recede beneath Odysseus and Jack, as they are lowered into a large chamber covered in various wires, and filled with an eery glow. In the middle is an array of computer and holographic monitors, as well as an angled, smooth black slab. It resonates slightly with the room. “That Kubrite. Immense harmonic sensitivity. Lay down.” Odysseus lays Jack down on the slab, and Odusseus’ hands shake slightly. “This shouldn’t hurt… Too much.” Odysseus goes to the monitors, and glances at some data.
-
Apollo follows down with Ody, still holding the baton’s electricity in his hands. “If you need something with that….”

“My immortality’s gone…I dunno what’s happening…I’m scared, man. I’m fucking scared.”
-
Apollo showed Jack the blue static crackling through his fingers. “Look, you’ll be immortal again, we just need some time. Ody is an expert.”

-
“I know, now be quiet.” Odysseus’ irises flash red, then white, as he presses a button on the monitor. The room begins to shake slightly, and the slab vibrates beneath Jack. “Ok. SAL, monitor his vitals, and increase power and frequency gradually.” The whole room, and the air inside it seems to pulse, and the effects reach the others above.

Deleted UserMarch 25, 2015 at 12:12 amAn electrical current coursed through Jack, and his head shot up, hissing in pain. His arms shook, and he hit the table with the back of his head, his eyes closed yet racing under his eyelids. His shaking arms slowly began to push against the table, denting it. He woke up, shouting. Not in anguish, nor distress. But a shout of pure rage, staring at Faye, the woman who betrayed her, who was right now an enemy to their cause. He shouted again, leaping off the table and jumping on her, putting his hands around her neck.
-
Odysseus grabs Jack by the neck, his eyes still glowing white. The room continues to pulse and arc, and small cracks seems to appear to hang in the air, fracturing the light. Odysseus speaks in a deep, unnatural voice to Jack, “She shall not be harmed. Your memory and immortality will only continue as long as you are in this place, and this machine is on. The procedure is not complete, and if you kill her, you will die.”

“Let me die…” Jack mumbled, spitting blood.
“Let me die!” He screamed.
-
“I can’t do that.” Odysseus begins to mutter, and drags Jack back to the slab. “You must live. Fate haa ordained it so.”
-
Geralt turns to Faye as the others go down into the chamber below. Want to walk and talk? I’m curious to look at some of these doohickeys. Geralt then sees Jack run up and throw his hands around Faye then Odysseus forces him to go back and lie down. I think we should get away from here. Geralt lightly takes Faye’s hand to drag her away from the site.
