We live in a world brimming with corruption. Everyday acts of hate and violence affect the landscape of the world, twisting into a visage of unfathomable proportions. What’s more is that people have dark selves, powerful manifestations of their fears, wants, and desires. A dark self can make a person powerful beyond all imagine, yet the more one uses it, the further he falls into insanity and feels the need to use it. With prolonged use, a dark self can control its master, switching the roles of puppeteer and puppet. At that point, the person is merely a shell of their former self, bent on fulfilling their every base need no matter what the cost. You are a person living in this world. Will you use your dark self to gain glory or will you survive with your soul and figure out the mysteries of this world. The choice is yours.

Quick note: This rp wasn’t idea alone. Ceder had proposed an idea like this to me a while ago, yet he wasn’t able to work on it much due to other obligations. I feel he has just as much claim to this idea as I do.
