Casi frowned slightly,”It does sound very dreary..” Casi closed her eyes and tried to Imagen it,”Don’t you guys have a sun, to let light in? Or does your planet have no sun to provide light for it?” Casi opened her eyes with only a slight picture on how his home could be, she patted his hand absently and looked up watching the clouds.

-Fenrie and Eriess continued looking through the book. Armane sighed and said, “My first home was perfect but longer days and nights. We called them sweeps. It’s how we did our age but the castle… It is Earth apparently but in the distant future… And there is no light… Just clouds…” He ran his fingers through the grass. “How can something this beautiful turn into such a dreary place?”-

Casi frowned slightly,”A lot of things can happen I guess, there is only so much beauty before destruction.” Casi finished her crown and inspected it,”There are places on Earth where they’re is nothing but barren waste land and poisonousness fumes. I’ve seen them in books and on the tele, the clouds could be from pollution. Humans are indecisive, but sometimes we see what our actions will effect us in the future.

-Fenrie and Eriess finally found a page that made Fenrie scream in fear at it and Eriess scream at cuteness. Armane sighed and said, “But the air is breathable… Everything is just dead…” He flopped onto his stomach and buried his face in the grass. “This is soooo soft.”-

Casi giggled at the troll’s silliness and ruffled his hair, “Be glad I don’t cut it often, when grass is cut, it becomes itchy and stiff.” Casi slowly lied down, careful not to pull on her hair, and took a deep breath.

-Fenrie went back to fangirling on the next page they went to. Eriess was also very impressed. Armane smiled as his hair was ruffled. “I just know, we’ll have to go back again. Cu-… Carolus said there will be war soon… Don’t know against who… but myself and the seer bode bad things to happen…”-

Casi grasped his hand,”I can come and help if you want me too..” Her voice is soft with a touch of worry.

-Fenrie and Eriess stopped squeeing as they heard something. They instead closed the book and hid it. Armane’s eyes went wide and he sat up. “You shouldn’t of said that, I hear wing beats…” He turned his head to the house. “He’s coming. Hurry inside…” He stood up and let his hand come out of her grasp and went inside. Sure enough the cloaked Carolus was in the house, standing in front of Fenrie and Eriess. “Greetings…” He spoke to Armane as he entered. Armane tipped his head to him.-

Casi followed Armane warily, ready to whip out her guns. She poked her head from behind the large troll, unsure of the newcomer.

-Eriess knelt down and said, “Carolus, sir, Greetings.” Fenrie knelt down, obviously uncomfortable. Armane then also knelt down, encouraging Casi to do so too. Carolus looked at them and smiled, pulling his hood down to show his skull of a head. He eyed the timid human girl and held a hand out, kneeling down so his ten foot stature was not so intimidating. “Lieutenant General Eriess… Stand.” Eriess stood up at attention. “Brigadier General Fenrie… Stand…” Fenrie stood up at attention. “Colonel Armane… Stand…” Armane stood up at attention. “Human, you may approach.”-

Casi glanced at Armane, before stepping forward, seeing they just stood to attention, she did her best salute,trying not to offend the creature.”Uhh..My name is Casi..

-Eriess, Fenrie, and Armane stayed in a nearly unblinking attention. Carolus smirked at the girl and said, “Casi… That is a nice name. I am Carolus. I take it they have told you too much about me?” He looked her over with his red eyes. “You truly want to help him in the upcoming battle?”-

Casi blinked,”Thank you?” She pondered the second question,”Uhh..Yes? Then she brightened slightly,”Yes, I would very much like too.”

-Eriess had a worried glance. Fenrie and Armane did too. Carolus smiled in a friendly manner. “What can you offer the battle field? I can tell you are not god tier.”-

Casi glanced at Armane, seeing his worried look, but knowing that she could at least attempt to protect him. The girl shrugged slightly,”I can use guns and swords?”
