“..Um..No..?” Casi tilted her head,”What’s a lesus..Or a muscle beast..?”

“Oh a Lesus is a caretaker. Mine was… magnificent.” Armane seemed sentimental, “She had flowing scales with feathers on her arms. She was just… She raised me. I miss her.” He thought a second then said, “A muscle beast has a strong upper torso and a four legged cloven bottom. They produce milk on our planet.”-

“Oh.” Casi defeated,”I use to have one, a long time ago..” She said in a saddened tone, “We don’t have muscle beats here, but we do have cows, they produce milk for humans.

-Armane looked at her and said, “Did yours pass on too?” He was interested in the cows thing. He kinda wanted to see one eventually.-

Casi blinked,”I’m not very sure, one day he was here, then the next day he was gone. I’m not sure what happened to him..” She looked down in her mug and took a sip of the cooling liquid.

-Armane thought and took another sip. “Maybe it was Carolus… who knows…” He looked into the half full cup and sighed a little. “He is causing hell to break loose everywhere else, why not here too…” He seemed disappointed and his head perked up because he thought he heard wings again but it was all in his head.-

Casi finished off the last of her hot chocolate and help the cup loosely in her hand, she leaned back against the couch and sighed,”I’m not liking the Carolus any more then you are I’m sure..” She looked out the window to see everything basked in dull light,”night already?” Rain started to Pitter Patter on the window,”Never mind..Just rain..”

-Armane smiled a bit at her saying she didn’t like him any more than he did. He looked down at his hot chocolate, swirling the little bit that was left of it. He let his breath out through his nose then gazed at the window Casi looked at. He saw the rain and thought about how good that would feel. His gaze returned to Casi as he drank the last of his chocolate. His eyes glowed and he moved the cup to where he remembered the sink was. He spoke vividly, “I don’t think any of us do but it is our fault he exists anyway I think.” He placed his hands on his lap and then spoke quick, “I mean my group of troll’s fault that is.” He leaned back and turned to begin watching the rain again.-

“..I’m not sure if I want to know how you guys created him..” Casi joked slightly and scooted over to him placing a hand on his knee. “Though as we are friends, well mostly your my only friend currently. I’ll do what ever that’s in my ability to help you, you know that right?” The girl patted hi knee softly then retreated her hands to her lap focussing on the window to watch the rain pore down.

-Armane looked down and smirked. He registered the joke as one but he was going to explain. He smiled once more when he was called a friend and that she’d help. He looked to her and spoke very openly, “I would do anything in my ability to help you too.” He took a deep breath and spoke more grimly, “I should tell you how we did… It really was our own faults. We saw him when we were young and near the end of our game. He was bleeding and hurt. He asked us to find him and we did. We found him when he was a grub, with two different colored eyes. We couldn’t resist raising him… It was a helpless creature, no lusus to be found. So we kind of became his Lusus. There’s more but… I shouldn’t talk about it.” He looked back to the window and seemed a little shaken. He was terrified of one of them returning for him.-

Casi gave him a sad look,”You would never know how he would grow up to be, so it isn’t you fault. Okay?” She patted his knee once more and gave him a small smile. “And if your not comfortable on talking about it, you don’t have too.”

-Armane knew it was their fault. He down right knew it because once they knew what he was, it was too late to change it. He looked at Casi with a smile then it faded again, looking to the window to watch the rain as he spoke. “I am just deathly afraid they are going to come for me if I say any more…” As Armane spoke, a void opened behind them and the cloaked figure that approached him earlier walked out of it. He came up behind Armane and wrapped his arm around his throat and began to choke him. Armane couldn’t do anything.-

Casi jumped and wiped out her gun and clicked off the safety and repetitively shot the cloaked figure in panic, hitting it’s head,chest and arm repetitively.The girl made sure when she got that if her friend moved he would have a big chance of not getting hit. After using all her rounds she chucked the gun at the figure’s head and leaped at it tackling it with a war cry.

-The cloaked figure released Armane’s neck and sucked the oncoming bullets into a void by stealing nothingness from elsewhere. The gun ended up smacking him in the head and he took off into the house, towards the kitchen and brought out a bow and arrows, aiming at them and firing. Armane, now free, and worried, placed himself between her and the oncoming arrows as he drew out his scythe and spun it to knock six arrows out of the way. Armane turned to Casi and yelled, “GO HIDE!” He turned back around to another arrow being shot at him, which he caught in his hand before throwing it back at him. The cloaked figure made that disappear too. Armane ran into the kitchen and the cloaked figure retracted his bow so they could fight scythe to scythe.-

Casi yelped and dove under her couch, she was glad she kept guns every where, she with drew a AK47 and hefted it up. She leaped over her couch and crouched in the door way clicking off the saftey. The girl dearly wished for one of her swords but she’ll make due, the dude had bows and arrows so stealth way the way.”Armane,”Casi whispered loud enough so he’ll hear her but hopefully not the cloaked figure,”Friends help friends,I got the big girl gun and it’s itching to fire. The dude has bows an arrows, we’ll have to be sneaky, he/she doesn’t even know the house and we both know it, well you vaguely but it’ll be enough I hope..”
