-Jake actually seriously thought before saying something. “He was raised by trolls?” He had to ask out loud, “Cherubs aren’t supposed to be raised. They are solitary creatures. They take over entire universes at times, either by force or kindness. He was raised? Legitimately?” He was questioning this as it was a big piece of information, wanting to be sure it was accurate.-
-
Casi nodded,”Mhm, it seems so, Armane said though they had to leave him for a while whent hey started the game. Though when they left they waited until he was old enough to understand,if I can recall correctly..” She finished putting things away and settled on trying to clean the blood off of her stove, which was taken forth with window cleaner and a paper towel.
-
-Jake stepped over and looked at it. “Try removing that portion and soaking it in vinegar.” He backed off a little and then continued the previous conversation, “So they raised him, let him play alone, then went back to raising him. That’s not natural. That could change the entire outcome, I believe. As Cherubs don’t have emotional links… by gum! Maybe he has developed them! Sporting good show, Casi!” He smiled at her.-
-
Casi followed his instructions, by soaking the paper towel with vinegar, the blood came off easier,”Thank you for that, and..What did I do a good job for..? Cleaning up blood?” She gave Jake a weird look behind her shades.
-
-Jake placed his hand on her shoulder if she let him, “I don’t want Dirk to kill Carolus unless there is proof he is entirely evil. You telling me what you did may have just saved innocent lives. I just need to go confirm it. Don’t let him know I left.” He released her if he could grab and started to hope himself away, fading to go watch them.-
-
Casi shrugged and when back to cleaning the stove, she finished and dumped the yellow towel in the trash bin and washed her hands. The girl then used window cleaner to clean up the vinegar, which had a nasty smell to her. She took off her shades for a moment to clean them, and slipped them back on after a moment, the light stinging her eyes.
-
-Jake faded away with his hope powers. Dirk finally came out of his room to come wash the coffee cup and was silent for a moment. “I’m sorry,” Dirk finally said, meaning it legitimately.-
-
Casi pushed her shades up,”For what?” She asked in a questioning tone, she walked over to the stove and wrinkled her nose at the lingering sour sent. The girl brushed past Dirk to a shelf right by him, she opened it and grabbed a bottle of air freshener, spraying it over the stove area.
-
-Dirk watched her, scratching his head a little as he said, “Well, I am not adjusted. I have went so long without sleep or peace, I am not quite sure how to settle anymore. Understand?” He was trying to put it simply as though it was complicated, he didn’t want it to seem such to her.-
-
Casi nodded,”I understand what your trying to say,” She walked back over to him and put the bottle back, closing the cabinet, and patted his shoulder. “Your old room is open, so you can rest in there.” The girl left him travelling across the kitchen, back to the tray to put it away.
-
-Dirk sighed and started cleaning his cup and looked at it. “By the way,” He asked loud enough for her to hear, “Where’d Jake go?”-
-
Casi shrugged,”I think he when exploring, when to go find out the facts I guess.” She put the tray away and leaned on the counter crossing her arms, and looked down at them, tracing a random scar. “I’m not sure if the house changed to much since you guys left, but,” She shrugged,”It might of, it might of not.”
-
-Dirk caught the first part and heard the second. He stared at her and said, “What facts? He is never after facts. Just adventure.” His glasses had a glare on them. He disregarded about the house and focused on what Jake could possibly be doing.-
-
Casi shrugged,”Then he when adventuring..?” She has a weird tone of voice,”..Is that even something some one can do..?” The fixed her shades and shrugged, walking back over to her hoodie, and tied it around her waist.
-
-“Yeah,” Dirk said then he got tense. “Do you know where he went adventuring to?” He was really trying to get it out of her, him placing the literally spotless cup down on the cupboard. He had hints of concern in his voice.-
