Earth (Second timeline)

Casi mumbled,”Well,Armane is his son, I would understand this would be tougher for him then me.” She untied her hoodie from her waist and slipped it on, small scars flashing in the light. The girl stood up and offered her hand to Jake,”We can’t stay up here, the others will be trying to find us and shit. I still have to clean the kitchen too,” Her voice was soft with a bit of sadness too it that would break the heart of a full grown man.

-Jake took her hand and stood up. “I could only imagine… to truly meet him for the first time this way is horrible,” Jake looked down and was going to let her lead. “But… He can still meet him a different way. There should be an un-doomed one out there somewhere.” He smiled as warmly as possible. “So you should chipper up too, he’s still out there for you,” He spoke very upbeat, he believed in what he said.-

Casi nodded and gave him a soft smile,”I know, I’m sorry again about that, my mind just broke down for a moment.” She lead him out of the attic and back to the kitchen, the girl kept her eyes off of Armane’s body and picked up her mop. Casi started to clean once more, leaving Sollux alone to mourn, waiting for one of the humans or trolls to comfort him. Though seeing none going to make a move and dropped the mop and moved over to him in the living room,kneeling down by him. She placed a hand on his shoulder,”Sollux, this wasn’t Armane from this time line, he’s still safe and alive in the castle, I’m sure of it”

-Jake had followed her down and when she dropped the mop, started to clean for her. Sollux heard Casi, felt her hand, but it didn’t seem to register to him. He finally spoke, “But… is this really… how I was supposed to see my own offspring… for the first time… and be told they’re killing the other… what… the fucking… hell…” He only gripped the body tighter despite it having absolutely no warmth left.-

Casi gained a sad look, and rubbed his shoulder softly,”This is not the real Armane, Sollux, and you’ll get to see him. Alive and well, because he already saw you, he didn’t talk to you because he was afraid to mess with the time line.” Her voice was soft and calm, using the same tone she used on Karkat earlier,”It will be okay, you’ll see Armane again probably, because he said that he’ll see me soon. Though, I would be prepared for more doomed Armanes, as he did say that they will come.” The girl gently pried his arms away from Armane,”Tell me, what do trolls do when another troll dies?”

-Sollux looked at the body and still didn’t want to let go but he finally did. “Well…” He seemed to be a bit better, “What blood that’s left can go to Kanaya… She is a rainbow drinker… Gamzee used to throw bodies into sprites… He did that to mine..” He realized a little late how odd that sounded. “We could keep him until the game if you want him as a guide but he’d maybe smell… a little funky… so… could burry him… or wrap him up and launch him into the sun… so a subjuggalator can’t nab the corpse and do something stupid…”-

Casi shook her head,”I guess we can burry him? I have no idea what a subuggalator is but do what you wish.” The girl stood and ruffled Sollux’s hair,”Just tell me what to do.”

-Sollux thought about what he said and spoke quickly, “Subjuggalator is a purple blood like Gamzee. And… Maybe somewhere that… has dirt? Flowers… pretty.” He’d never thought he’d ask for such things but he wanted to show his pride for what little he knew of him.-

Casi nodded,”In my backyard,I’ll be back really fast though.” She left him and walked into the kitchen,grabbing her purse from the hook and a set of keys, leaving the house to go get some flowers. Around half a mile away was a flour stand and Casi bought flowers that matched his blood colour with red and blue flowers. The girl carried her lode back home, hoping everyone was still okay. Seeing she was gone for about half away from the house, upon returning she put her purse and keys back, holding the flowers gently, as they where bundles and held many flowers in each one.

-Sollux held the body the entire time she was gone but let Kanaya take the blood. When Casi returned he smiled at her weakly and picked up the body as he stood and said, “Alright… Let’s do this.” He waited for Casi to lead, his eyes on the flowers as he focused on the yellow ones, pride emitting from him.-

Casi lead him to the back yard,”Will this so?” She said quietly, and held the flowers a bit more tighter.

-Sollux followed her and looked and said, “Yeah… By the way, great pick of flowers.” He knelt down and placed the body on the ground. He didn’t know what he wanted to do then, he could dig the hole himself or he could get help. He ended up starting to dig alone with his hands. “The flowers can go over him,” he said, “but are they cut or have roots?”-

Casi quickly put the flowers down by him,”They have roots, I was sure to get them like that.” She the jogged over to the garden shed on the side of her house and got two shovels. Why did she have two shovels? Who the fuck knows? The girl jogged back and set one of the shovels down by Sollux and started to dig with her own.

-Sollux looked at the shovel and then at the body. He stood up and started to use the shovel. He made sure it was deep and big enough to put him in. He looked at how Casi was doing on the other end of the hole and if she needed help. He was more than willing to. He seemed at ease with himself finally and was letting the issue go.-

Casi was much stronger then she looked and easily dug through the dirt, and they soon finished. The girl help Sollux lower the doomed Armane’s body into the hole. She was quickly recovering from the doomed Armane’s death, and stealing herself for when the next one came.
