Earth (Second timeline)

-Jake closed the door behind him and said, “Well, aren’t you just chipper!” He was happier about it and let the problem in his mind be erased for now. He sat himself on the floor and said, “What’s with the blankets?” He smiled to her in a warm manner.-

Casi blinked at him from behind her shades,”I don’t think I have enough rooms for everyone to be by them selves, so I think some will chill on the couch or shit, so blankets.” She tilted her head slightly and put the blankets on her bed and walked back to her closet and closed it, it had a few pretty dresses in it and different shirts, but mostly the shirts like the one she wore under her hoodie filled it. “Do you need something?” Her voice had a hint of curiosity in it.

-Jake really wanted to tell her but didn’t do so. At least, not yet. He spoke out, “Well, I was going around checking on everyone. You know, just helping you out is all. I found most of them are rooming together anyway. Dirk is still in with Dave. Karkat and Gamzee bunked in a room with Terezi, mostly because Gamzee took a corner. He’ll fall asleep just about anywhere. Well, everyone seems comfortable rooming together to conserve space. So, I don’t know if anyone will be out on the sofa, also, who’s in the shower?” He was curious.-

Casi blinked,”The shower is Sollux, though if they share beds and stuff, I think they’ll still need more blankets. The beds are kinda small in each room, so they don’t have to share blankets either.” She started to sort through the blankets while she talked,”You still have your old room, right?”

-Jake nodded to her and said, “Yeah but I was thinking of staying in with Dirk and Dave for now. Dirk is still very depressed. I want to be there for him.” He was very sincere and honest about it, he then looked down cause he felt something. He tried to not alarm her and said, “Well, I am going to make sure he’s alright.” He headed out of her room and seemed to slam the door a little as he rushed out.-

Casi blinked and grabbed the blankets and followed after him calmly. Though first she when room to room and handed out blankets to the humans/trolls, then poked her head into Dave’s room. “You guys okay here?”

-Dirk was leaning over on the bed, his head on his bro’s chest and out cold. Dave looked down at the door and said, “Does pain count?” He tried to smirk at her and then took a deep breath. “He cried himself to sleep on me,” He raised an arm really weakly and placed it on his shoulder, “He’s a great bro. If you could, I am not planning on sleeping while in pain so, could you cover him? My arms are what took the brunt of the damage. I would tell you what happened but only if you wanted to hear it.” There was the sound of a thud from the kitchen and Jake yelled out, “I’M OKAY!” Dave tried not to laugh, it hurt a bit to do that.-

Casi walked in fully,”If you wish to tell me that’s fine,” The girl’s steps where silent and she gently moved her father to a position that wouldn’t hurt Dave. Then covered him with a fuzzy pink blanket that had puppets on it, she was careful to to wake him. “Is that better? And do you recire medical attention again, or just time to heal?” Her voice was soft to not wake Dirk and bundled the blankets in her arms.

-Dave smiled and said, “I saved Dirk’s life. He’s done the same for me before… Even if it was a different timeline version of him. And thank you, makes it easier to breathe. Did you have to pick that blanket though?” He laughed quietly but it hurt so he grunted and stopped. “Maybe if you have pain medication, that could be helpful. It hurts to breathe deeply and well, move my arms,” He moved his arm onto his chest and said, “It’d help me get some sleep too if the pain was masked, even if it is just for a little while.” There was another thud from out in the kitchen and living room, something that sounded like a flap of a wing, then Jake yelling, “I AM STILL OKAY!” It sounded like he was making a mess of himself.-

Casi nodded and left the room quietly,padding into the kitchen, where she hoped Jake was. “Uh..Jake? You sure your okay?” The girl walked over to the medicine cabinet and opened it,rummaging through it, then taking out some heavy painkillers and a sleep aiders.

-Jake made sure to use his hope powers to cloak what he was doing and said, “Yep I just tripped over myself a lot and I swear if I break anything I will fix or replace it.” He ducked down as he made sure he’d be the only one able to see what he was fighting and pretended he found a penny. “Oh lucky me! I found a penny.” He then got back up and sneaked in a kick to his ‘invisible’ opponent’s abdomen then return to standing like nothing was going on.-

Casi shrugged and put the bottles on the counter and started to rummage through the cabinet again,”If you say so.” She frowned and muttered to her self,”Where the hell is that bottle..”

-Jake heard the flap of the wings and tried to imagine it wasn’t there and said, “What are you looking for?” He had his feet ripped out from under him and he kicked the see-through enemy where a nose should have been. He then got himself up while untying a shoe just to make it seem like it was his fault.-

“I’m trying to find the right sleeping aids for Dave, I have this one but it’ll do no good,” She turned around to see him untying his shoe,”Uh, Jake?” The girl scanned around the kitchen,”What the hell?”

-Jake quickly started retying it and said, “Um, I am not in my right mind right now. Why don’t you at least give the meds a chance? For all you know, he could be sensitive to it and go to sleep rather quick.” He stood himself up and stepped away from the recovering body on the ground. “So why not take that to him and if you need stronger, I will bring the bottle to you?”-
