Earth (Second timeline)

-Kanaya wrapped up Jake even though he was speed healing. Dave was still laying on the bed in pain. Dirk was still asleep in his plush butted blanket.-

“Oh damn it, I forgot you medication.” Casi walked back to the kitchen and grabbed the bottles and a cup of water, walking back to the room. She went over to Dave and helped him sit up slowly, and gave him one pill from each bottle and the small cup of water. “Sorry that I took a while, shit came up. It’s a sleeping aid and a pain killer, so it should help you.”

-Dave grunted as he was helped up but took the pills easily with her help. When he was back down he smiled, “Thanks, niece.” Jake seemed like he was going to be just fine. Dave didn’t feel the effects immediately but took off his shades to close his eyes and wait for them to do so. Kanaya made her way out of the room.-

Casi nodded and picked up the blankets on the floor and wandered over to Jake, she covered him with a blanket. Then folded one and lifted his head and tucked it under his main of hair,”You rest until you feel better.” She stood up with a nod and leaned down, taking off his glasses so he doesn’t crush them, folding them neatly, placing them neatly by his head. The girl walked over to Dirk and checked him over quickly before leaving the room, closing the door behind her, plunging it into dimness. Casi walked back to her room with the spare blankets and put them away in her closet before sitting down on her bed. The girl slid off and sat in the space between it and the wall, staring out the window.

-Jake followed instruction and went to sleep. A soft knock came to her room and Karkat’s voice came through the door, “Can I speak to you? I was told something disturbing and Gamzee went back to sleep already and Terezi is having issue comprehending.” He waited patiently outside of her room.-

“Come on in.” Casi climbed out of her spot and crawled onto her bed as he walked it and sat down. She patted her bed,”Come, you can sit while you talk.”

-Karkat came in and closed the door and sat down next to her. He was very visibly upset and was silent for a little before he said, “Rose told me what she saw… fully… Apparently.. The line they are from… They have a purple blood who is killed too… She saw him take and siphon out the blood from the body. Then he was attacked by the others and he kills them all and then.. He goes back… through dream bubbles and he finds them younger… he implores their help and gives them the blood… which leads to his transfusion… He had one of his friend’s blood in him… That is way fucking upsetting…” He was crying a bit, red tears.-

Casi was silent for a bit,”I agree it is disheartening to hear.” She put a hand on his shoulder and gave it a small squeeze. “In this time line though, Kroman, who had the blood transfer has hid friends to help him. It is doomed, this is our time line, that didn’t happen. Though I have no idea how he got the purple blood, Ereiess, who has purple blood from this time line is very much alive.” Her tone was the same as she used when he was curled up in the bath tub.

-Karkat looked at her and said, “Isn’t it clear? He used the doomed one’s blood, not the good ones. So that doomed line has to exist in order to get onto the main time line. It’s hard to explain but it is just so fucking horrible..” He wiped his tears away and shook his head. “Why would he put himself through that? Do you think he knows?”-

Casi blinked,”Oh,” she breathed out,”I understand know..I think. And no, I don’t think so, I do know that Carolus some how attained the blood, but I don’t think he knows about it.” Her voice was quiet and she removed her hand and looked down at her lap.”I don’t think he’ll put himself through that either, either Carolus tricked him, or he knew about it. But I think it was the first option then later one.”

-Karkat looked at her and said, “I have to know… I will be back.” He stood up and made sure he was done crying before he headed for the door. He was all set to go and said, “If Dave asks where his sword is, tell him I borrowed it.” He went out the door and sneaked to Dave’s room to attain his time sword.-

Casi blinked, she was going to offer if he wanted to borrow one of bee’s, but oh well. Casi tucked her shelf where she was, her over sized goodies acting as her blanket.

-Morning approached fast and people were waking, trolls were moving around. Kanaya ended up making food for everyone. It was quick and easy for her and she cleaned up when she made accidental messes. Most meandered out to get food. Jake ended up taking food in to Dave and Dirk, Dirk not touching his and Dave allowing Jake to help him eat, Jake not going to get his own until Dave said he was finished. Terezi and Gamzee both seemed worried when Karkat wasn’t there and despite their kesmistitude, which she still had meant to cut off, were talking calmly and sharing what they thought to each other and worried about him together.-

Casi ended up falling sleep curled up by the window, she woke up after hearing the sound of movement then decided she didn’t care and when back to sleep. The girl was hidden by the bed so it looked like her room was empty, only the slight intake of breath was heard around the room.

-The movement in the house continued as everyone was eating breakfast and trying to figure out where Karkat was. Jake finished helping Dave and took his plate out and finally got his own, heading back to the room to find Dirk still hadn’t touched his. Gamzee finally had it and went to Casi’s room but stopped, he was going to knock but instead, he slipped out a horn. He gently prodded it until it was under the door frame and left it under the door. He then stepped back and jumped on the horn, it honking loudly into Casi’s room then he ran away back to the group, leaving the horn under the door.-
