Casi closed her eyes,”It shouldn’t of been any of you, I’m so sorry.” She trembled slightly and held him tighter, and buried her face in his hair,”This my fucking fault. It should it of been me then any of you guys.” Her voice was quiet and sad, as she did her attempt to comfort her father.

-Dirk held her tight and was trembling himself. “Don’t you dare ever say either of those things… Remember how Sollux acted when he saw Armane dead? Imagine that with my lash back but against the Cherub. I would have gotten myself killed and Jake along with me. It wouldn’t do us any good… Plus… It was Karkat’s choice to go… to hear what happened… It is his fault…”-

Casi shuttered,”Can just say it’s no one’s fault in this house that he died,but I think it’s Carolus’ fault that he’s dead.” She said quietly and buried her face in Dirk’s shoulder, then pulled it off, taking off her sunglasses, finally reburying it. “I don’t know what to do at the moment, everything is a mess now.” The girl shuttered again, shivering slightly, missing the warmth of her hoodie.

-Dirk tried to hold her as close as possible, to keep her warm and comfort her. He took a deep breath and said, “I guess it is his fault… just for being a red Cherub… If the green had dominated… no one would be hurt… no one would be dead… Everybody would be… okay… and happy…” He had tears coming down again.-

Casi rubbed circles on Dirk’s back,”Hey, it’ll be okay, we’ll be okay and happy. Jake is gone now and we can’t so anything about it and-” Her voice cracked,”Wait,maybe not.” She leaned back,”He said something about sprites before. Can we make him a sprite? I have no idea what the fuck it is, but I think it could bring him back to life?” The girl shrugged her red rimmed eyes and huffed slightly.

-Dirk looked at her and said, “Him as a sprite?” He shook his head no but he ended up saying something completely different, “It would bring him back, in fact, he would be immortal nearly, more so than he was in God Tier. He would be able to guide you through the game but not directly. He’d be forced to speak in riddles… But he would still be him. I guess… Yeah… but how are we going to keep him in tact until then?”-

Casi frowned slightly,”..Does someone have a power of their god teir to keep his body okay?” She rubbed her eyes again and wrapped her arms around her self shivering slightly,”Other then that, I’m not very sure how.”

-Dirk hugged tight onto her and said, “Maybe… Sollux and Jane maybe…” He tried to keep her warm with his body, him trying to engulf her body in his just as a protective instinct.-

Casi blinked and was pulled into Dirk’s lap ,which she fit fine, seeing she was small. The girl leaned forward and snuggled closer,resting her head on his shoulder,”Maybe..” She was slightly tense at first then she relaxed into him, closing her eyes.

-Dirk just held her tight and smiled. He whispered to himself, “At least… He will live on forever.” He had a tear go down his cheek and couldn’t help but choke up a bit. He was happy through the sadness.-

Casi wrapped one of her arms around Dirk’s middle, and used the other to brush away the tear, then hugged him fully. “Maybe.” She said again softly and held on tighter, sudden sorrow gripping her heart. The girl sniffled and a few tears slipped down her pale face and onto Dirk’s shoulder, her head burrowed by his neck. Her soft hair tickling the man slightly.

-Dirk just kept holding her tight and whispered, “We’ve lived for a long time… It is time to face what comes. I should have seen it coming. But I thought I would be your guardian. I wanted to be. But, it’s alright.. He will be an amazing sprite for you… You will never be lost. He will always be with you even.” He gripped her tight, not wanting to say what came into his mind next. He wanted to keep happy thoughts.-

Casi shuttered in his hug,”You can be my dad, Jake can be my Sprite. I love you. And you’ll be with me too, even if your not physically there.” She said softly and shifted wrapping her arms around his neck. Holding him closer she couldn’t hold back her tear once more and started to cry silently on Dirk.

-Dirk held her tight and fought back tears. He didn’t want to cry anymore about it. It hurt but he wanted to be a father for her now. He stroked her hair and just let her cry. She needed to get it out and he knew it.-

Casi hiccuped and eventually the tears stopped,”S-Sorry..” She said quietly, and hugged him more tightly,”I’m sorry that you have to deal with me now..” She joked slightly and pushed her self away from Dirk a little so she can rub her eyes with out elbowing him,”I’m not the best person in the world, but I’ll do my best to make sure that we don’t have to be alone.” The girl looked down.”I-If that’s okay with you..” She said quietly once more, her voice cracking.
