Casi gave the pair a soft smile and stood up, stretching, then fell still. “And a friend, don’t forget about me!” Her voice was tinted with amusement,the girl adjusted her shades. The girl hesitantly joined the hug, after a moment,

-Cunneris smiled and gripped to them both. He was happy. Cunneris released the hug after a few minutes and said, “I will never forget you both, I promise. Now… I will try to go but… Can I meet those others that want to kill me? I want to know who to expect to come kill me if I mess up.” Dave relaxed but questioned it and looked to Casi to see what she thought of it.-

Casi blinked and looked at Dave, and gave a small shrug,”If Dave thinks so, then I guess?” Her voice was questionable,”I don’t think they would mind seeing you? But then again, I don’t know most of them very well.”

-Cunneris looked to Dave and gave a near equivalent to puppy eyes. Dave nodded and said, “Yeah okay fine.. but I will go tell them ahead of time. They will gather in Gamzee’s room just for convenience. Give me a few.” He headed down and started telling them, Gamzee, Karkat, and Terezi first. Cunneris looked at Casi and said, “Do you think… They’ll be okay with me? If I am so bad later… and do horrible things… Why would he or you have even given me a chance? Wouldn’t it make more sense to kill an evil before it becomes such?” He was smart but obviously was not an expert in time lines.-

Casi nodded,”They might not be at first, but they’ll warm up with time.”She then tilted her head slightly,”It will mess up the time lines if we killed you, and to kill you would be a big no-no.” The girl sighed softly,”We gave you a chance because we saw you are Cunneris, not Carolus, they’re are the same person if you think. But from diffident points in time, it’s like saying I was the same person I was 10 years ago. Which I’m not, I was only a babe then.”

-Cunneris smiled a bit and said, “So they may accept me despite what I do in the future because I am different now? Sounds optimal. And killing me would cause a disturbance of some kind? Am I required in time?” He wanted to understand. He was also obviously willing to learn.-

Casi nodded,”You are very different from the you in this current time frame.” She though for a moment,”I’m not very sure if your required, I only met you a few times when your older. But you are indeed important, so yes, it would cause a disturbance.” The girl nodded firmly, and shifted her weight, foot to foot.

-Cunneris smiled and said, “Well, I guess if I am important then… that’s a great thing. Not always good great but… at least I might be worth something.” He felt a bit more comfortable and it was evident. He allowed his wings to fully droop, causing them to drag as he moved forward a little. It seemed like Dave was taking his time or possibly having cooperation issues.-

Casi blinked,”Shouldn’t you fold your wings so they don’t drag every where?” The girl also wondered if Dave was okay, she didn’t want the trolls or humans coming in here guns blazing…God damn that reminded her oh Jake, Casi stiffened for a moment then relaxed. She was still working out her feelings about Jake’s death, surprisingly.

-Cunneris looked back at the wings and folded them behind himself. “I guess but… it feels better to let them droop. I feel strained but… This doesn’t feel too bad.” He tried to keep them there. He noticed the tensing she did and said, “Are you okay?” Dave was still convincing people below.-

Casi shook her head,”Sorry if I worried you, but I am well. No need to fret.” She smiled slightly, but it was weak as she shrugged her hoodie to cover her shoulders.

-Cunneris nodded and said, “Please… You can talk to me. I can tell it’s hard.. was it something I did or caused later? Or was it just something bad? I promise that if you tell me I won’t run around and screw up time or anything I promise.” He looked into her eyes, he really wanted to help. Dave was still having convincing trouble.-

Casi sighed,”I’ll just tell you that one of my fathers or guardians passed on, not long after I met him.” Her voice was low,”Though I’m mostly over it, so no need to elaborate on the subject.” It was a blatant lie, her voice was firm.

-Cunneris stared at her and said, “I am sorry… My father died before I could ever have met him… If that makes you feel better… and I don’t know what I would do if I lost the group that raised me… I understand.” He looked down and his wings drooped again, still not used to folding them behind him. Dave popped his head up and said, “They’re ready.” He went back down and to the room. Cunneris looked at Casi to lead the way, he was still a bit shy.-

Casi gave him an encouraging smile and climbed out the attic, then helped him down too. The girl offered her hand and led the.way to Gamzee’s room. She open the door and slipped in with Cunneris,”Okay everyone, Cunneris. Cunneris, everyone.”
