She nodded in understanding as she looked down to the young child and smiled kneeling as they reached the gate and stayed there she held her hand out to the young child not daring to touch her without permission an just smiled softly staring at the young child then sat down and leaned against the wall of the gate with a soft sigh and a smile as she watched the lightening balls roll by and tilted her head. “huh I guess it’s a good idea to stay inside for now.” She trusted his judgment and just waited understanding that he wanted her to learn fast and train hard so she would wait to find out where she needed to go.

-Haruso rolled to the left dodging the first using the tails to push him back to his feet right before the second reached him which made things worse as he has about eight of them in front of him with two behind him and his face was covered in anger. He darted to the left and began to climb a tree using his claws but halfway up he ran out enough chakra to keep it going before he fell back down landing on his back luckily he hadn’t been up so high so he didn’t break anything. He felt sore and tired adjusting his bag so his tablet was no longer stabbing him the back. As he pulled it out he saw it was busted which made him sigh”guess you can kill me now or whatever it is you plan to do as im out of the energy to fight back for an hour or so.-

Kurama’s daughter whimpered at the lightening and tried to hide under Jane’s legs. She folded her front legs over her eyes and shivered, she wanted to be held or to follow her father but it was a bad idea.

The robed figure made the clones go away as he walked over to him from where he had been. He loomed over Haruso and looked up as he heard something going through the trees. Kurama had sprinted there and looked at the figure in his fox form and sat there when he got close enough, perfectly relaxed, “Oh, it’s just you. What were you doing with him?”
The robed figure moved his head up and said, “I was trying to help him and he ran off like I was a stranger handing out candy in a white van.”
Kurama cocked his head then thought about it and got it. He waved his tails and said, “Perhaps you should take him now…”
The robed figure nodded and said, “Thank you, Kurama-san. Meet me back at headquarters when you are ready.”
Kurama nodded and said, “Soon.” He stood back up, waiting for questions from Haruso first.

Sometime during the night, Ryū had gotten into Orochimaru’s arms. For some reason, he hadn’t woken up when it happened but he did wake up first. He looked at her and carefully moved away from her, picking her up onto his back and starting to continue the long run. She woke up in the first few steps, her not knowing how far they had gone. She held onto his neck. They were both hungry, neither had brought food. She was more hungry than he was. He would still continue running and wouldn’t stop until they would need to.

Muri nodded in response to Mr. Haruno’s orders,  her expression lightening up as a more sincere smile began to steal its way onto her face. Finding a good area of the classroom where she wouldn’t accidentally bump her head against a desk or wall, the young student began to do sit-ups, making sure to twist her torso as she came up to work both her obliques and abs. Taijutsu was important for a ninja and she wanted to build a lot of stamina and speed for her later missions. Once she had completed enough reps and sets to force her to stop for a brief rest, the soft sound of clicking fingers and a hip tune could be heard from her cellphone. A bit embarrassed, Muri quickly grabbed for the phone and skimmed over the responding text from her sister:

“Whichever one you’re best at. How is school?”

With a grin at what had happened since the beginning of class, she quickly thumbed a response before turning the cellphone off and performing another set of sit-ups.

“Pretty chill. Kid got all sliced up and died in the loo, now the school is in lock-down. The Mizukage and a demon showed up, taught us some things and took some students with him. I hope we get to eat lunch soon. L8er.”

Watching the young beast rush under her she lifted her robe and covered her legs pulling them in to provide the young one protection as best she could she didn’t want to over step her bounds by picking it up but allowed it what protection she could and closed her eyes bowing her head she whispered down her robe. “You will be safe I will let no harm pass to you I will give my life so that you may live.” She told the young child though she knew how stupid such an act would be this beast was more important than her own existence at this point in time.

-Haruso was laying on his back looking up into the tree tops unable to move as he was so worn out and then he saw the bastard fox. He heard them speaking as if they were good friends”the fuck are you doing, serving me up as if im dinner for this perverted bastard that likes traumatizing children, He chased me down as if im a damn hunting fox you bastard”. He took in a deep breath and just let it out from between his teeth as he looked to the two of them expecting a slow and painful death at the burning fury of the giant dog who if Haruso every gets the chance will be stuffed and used as a punching bag. He tried to raise his arm just enough to get into his back to reach for his thing of chakra pills once again.-

Mr Haruno finished his own rep but stood up to watch the class. Some of the other students were back to lazing around so instead of correcting them, he gained a smirk. He walked over to the few students that were doing nothing and picked them up by the back of their shirts. He pulled them out of their chairs and drug them to the door and threw them out. After he said, “Good luck with the psycho.” He slammed the door shut and locked it. He then looked at the two who did it immediately with a smile and also to the students who started after. There was now only about fourteen students in the class from a class of fifty. He then looked at the vent, knowing he couldn’t slip through it then looked at the students and said, “Extra credit goes to whoever can crawl through and bring back lunches for everyone without the cooks knowing!” He smirked.

Kurama’s daughter shivered in the new hiding spot but the words seemed to comfort her. She looked up at the woman’s face and managed to speak to her, “Daddy wiwl protects us bof!” Her tails puffed out and she yipped at her instead. She seemed rather excited all of the sudden.

Kurama looked down at the boy and his ears flopped back, the one comment made him mad but he brushed it off. A slow chortle escaped until it was a full out laugh. The robed figure also laughed with the fox, him going around Haruso’s body and petting Kurama on the head. Kurama didn’t seem to mind it and looked back at Haruso as he spoke, “Listen… He is the one that could train you the best. Do you trust me?”
The robed figure smirked beneath his mask, unseen to the boy unless he read his chakra, which was muddled to begin with. He looked at Kurama and said, “He will have to one day. Even if he doesn’t now.”

Ryū held onto Orochimaru still but as they were getting closer to the border, she tugged on his top. He stopped and looked back over his shoulder at her as he spoke, “What is it?”
“I want to run…” She said to him, wiggling to try to get down.
He sighed and let her down, him looking at her as he said, “This will slow us down, you know.”
Ryū nodded and said, “It’s better to get some training in, even if we have nothing to keep us going. I want to be able to defend myself, thank you.” She took off at just 35 miles per hour, making sure she’d push herself this time even if she got tired.
Orochimaru had a smirk, he thought he was going to enjoy training this girl. He kept up with her and guided her to where they needed to go.

Muri broke out into an all-out grin, “First mission, ahoy!”  The girl was pretty excited at the idea of slipping lunches away from the cooks’ notice all while a psychopathic killer was likely on the loose. She took a gander at the vent, trying to decide whether she could fit in it or not before gathering up her backpack to place the lunches she managed to procure since there was a limit to how many she would be able to hold at one time. The young student then began to shuffle through the vent although it was a tight squeeze to fit both her and the backpack. It was dark as well, but her backpack had a small flashlight key-chain which worked well in the situation, dimly illuminating the interior of the vent. What a terrible security system,  Muri thought to herself both nervous and thrilled by the thought that the murderer might be hiding in the vent that very second, steadily climbing his way up to attack the students locked in their rooms.  A shudder ran up the girl’s spine as she continued forward, wary of the vent suddenly giving way underneath her. Finally, she reached a straight-shot down and blinked, shining the flash-light beam down the vent. It looked like a very long-way down.  Well, drat. Getting down is easy, but how am I supposed to get up with all of those lunches?  Well, first things first.  From her cramped position within the pipe, Muri hurriedly attempted the Dog, Boar and Ram hand-signs for an impromptu transformation jutsu.

The result was less than satisfactory: the coloring of her hair and clothes were clearly visible upon her new furry coat and she was immediately apparent as a ninja disguised as a squirrel rather than a true squirrel.  Each claw had bright orange nail-polish on, and small tufts of dyed red fur could be seen around her head, closely resembling hair.  Still, even if the disguise would fool nobody, the small squirrel claws and flexible ankle-joints allowed her to begin climbing head-first down to the bottom of the vent and eventually to the kitchen.

She smiled down at the young one and nodded not understanding her yep but she was glad to see she was doing better. Laying her head back against the wall she breathed keeping herself hidden with the robe and the hood hid her face. She wasn’t sure how long this would take but she knew it would be taken care of well and things would have to be made right she wanted to take things the right way. ”Hey you mind if I do some working out on my body while we wait for your father to get back?” She asked down into her robe if anyone was around to see or hear this they would probably think she was crazy but she didn’t care.

-Haruso was laying there on the ground realizing he didn’t have the strength to open his backpack let alone begin a search for the small vile of his pills. He felt his Heiko shut down saying the last of his strength had left him and in only a few moments he was out cold he had no energy left to keep him conscious. He thought he had opened his eyes but instead he saw a burning black vortex with the Kages of the past standing there condemning him for his crimes against humanity and the shinobi world. He tried to speak to argue his case but his voice came out distorted and a dark chuckle came out”let the world burn in hell for the sins that you have allowed as we become weak they are growing stronger and because of this we are no longer needed and soon we will die off. If this is are future then we all shall burn them and then those that stand with him”. The vortex expanded out developing the kages burning them alive, this was when Haruso could see himself looking into a mirror he was still himself on this side but the man on the other side wore a black uniform of with black armor and an orange mask and the man in the mirror spoke”This is your future if you do not walk a fine line, lead those that will follow but do not let them be caught in your vortex of pain and suffering as we are the ones who shall be held responsible in the future and we can bare this pain, Shall we die for are sin then shall be it and those that once followed us shall take up your mask and fight anonymously for what you feel is right and what you teach your allies is the correct future. We only have a short time so learn and train all you can from this man for he is your first step to cleansing this world so that Shinobi can once again reign as the supreme kind as no future can be had if we fall to the machines of the future”.-

Mr Haruno looked at them heading in, smiling knowing it wouldn’t be too easy.
The cooks were putting together lunches as best they could in hopes that the lock down would finish up. They left some of them unattended but there was a janitor locked in with them as well. He was watching the food on the table. This was their challenge.

Tsukiakari spread all of her tails and they wagged back and forth. She said, “I know do!” She skittered from under the robe and backed up from the wall then ran at it and bounced off the wall to do back-flip after back-flip. She seemed to not know how to stop until she landed on her face in the pile of mud she had accidentally created herself. She tried to pull her face out of it but it was sticking so she whimpered.

Kurama looked at the knocked out boy he gave some chakra to help him be replenished. He looked at the robed figure and said, “I leave him in your capable hands.”
He nodded and watched Kurama take off, turning back to Haruso and kneeling to his side. He pulled him up onto his back and took off through the trees, heading towards a secret hidden base. He made sure to use top speed, assuring that they would be firmly locked in the cold caverns of his base before he would wake up. It was only a side base connected through tunnels to the real one and it would be easy to get lost. He set Haruso down on a makeshift bed of hay and leaves. Then he stood there waiting.

    —————————————————————————————————————————————-

Ryū ran as far as she could, her getting weaker as she neared the end of her stamina. She forced herself to keep going though, up until a misstep where she nearly fell off the branch. Orochimaru caught her and pulled her up back onto his back. She was shaking from being so weak at the moment and gasped for her breath through the mask. She was starting to hear voices in her head, “She will be fine, just ration it out.” “But what if she pushes too hard?” “Yeah, we’ll all starve!” “Just relax and let her be, she knows what she’s doing.” She really thought she was going crazy and tried to grip onto Orochimaru but she more slumped on him, unable to move her arms or legs. He held onto her tight, making sure she wouldn’t fall off. He carried her for a distance before she wanted back down again, this time, he wouldn’t let her. He knew it’d be too big of a push for her as she was and did not wish to lose his future opportunity.

Muri skittered along down the vent in her squirrel form until her small rodent ears began to pick up the tell-tale sounds of conversation and movement. Slowing her pace, the squirrel carefully scurried along until it found a grate in the wall which gave a view into the kitchen. Taking a cautious peek with a great deal of effort not to get caught, the squirrel took a measure of the layout of the kitchen. The chefs were busy making boxed lunches by cooking rice and some sort of delicious curry with meat and vegetable chucks bubbling away within the rich sauce in a pot on one of the stoves Once a small container had been filled with equal parts rice and curry, the chefs would box it up and then place the boxes on the kitchen table. Currently there were twenty already-made lunches, and the chefs were busy setting up another pot of curry sauce. Normally, sneaking past the busy cooks wouldn’t be too difficult except that in a corner near the vent stood a wooden chair with an old, crotchety looking janitor keeping a careful eye on the lunches. Shit.

While the chefs were fairly oblivious, the janitor seemed especially fly and hip to any shenanigans. Some sort of distraction would be in order, one good enough to distract both the chefs and the janitor, or possibly two different distractions. Muri sorted through her possibilities. Her phone could make noise, perhaps she could imitate either a security broadcast or some other sound to distract the chefs. Alternatively, there was a smoke detector which would make a loud, alerting distraction whether she used her avian form or simply canceled her transformation. Also, there was the interior of the kitchen itself to consider. Cautiously, Muri began to gnaw and prod away at the grate, timing her motions to the loud clanking of pots and pans to avoid detection until she could shift the vent grate away. Since the janitor was staring resolutely at the boxed lunches on the table and not at the floor of the kitchen, Muri could cautiously creep out of the vent without being noticed. It wasn’t quite time to place her strategy into motion, since her theft would be more effective if there were enough lunches made so that fourteen missing lunches wouldn’t be missed. While she came up with her plan and waited for more lunches to be made, Muri continued down the vent to see that the vent had a second grate connecting to the opposite side of the kitchen, closer to the stove  and further away from the janitor’s chair.

The chefs and the janitor were unaware of the on-goings in the ventilation. They were getting more boxes prepared. The Janitor decided to prop his feet up and take a break from staring at the food boxes. The chefs started to mutter to each other orders of who needed to do what where.

Muri startled with alarm from her position spying on the kitchen at the unnatural rustle of air across her bushy tail, turning her head to see her ninjutsu partner leering over her with the sharpened point of a pencil gripped in his hand like a knife. She  shot him an incredulous look instead of scurrying away like a wild squirrel or squeaking and hissing angrily like a rat. Her tail flicked away from the pencil-wielding ninja to curl protectively around her form while she cautiously eyed the boy readying himself to stab her with the writing utensil. Are you kidding me?  The minuscule squirrel then drew herself up onto her hind legs, forepaws up and positioned into a close approximation of a ninja hand-sign.  Muri gave a pointed flick of her head to the kitchen and then raised a single claw up in front of her rodent mouse in a ‘shush’ gesture. If she transformed back into a human now, there was a chance that the chefs and the janitor might be alerted by the resultant smoke cloud billowing from the vent. When the janitor propped his feet up onto the table, one of the squirrel’s ears flicked and swiveled with curiosity towards the opening of the grate, but Muri continued to silently stare at he fellow ninja student until he put away his pencils.

A light began to go off in the kitchen with a silent intercom fuzzing over, “We are to evacuate important staff at this time, please place down what you are doing and head immediately for the nearest exit. A body has been found in the city, anbu will escort you home.” The intercom fuzzed off then the cooks and Janitor dropped what they were doing and turned everything off. They picked up their personal items and were leaving swiftly and in a panic. They didn’t want to be next.
