Peace Keeper HQ
-
((I’m not having Gamer narrate for this one, it’s THEBUB’s thing.))
Gamer, in human form, left the HQ with Seraphina, Sonic and Trystan. He looked over and noticed Elizi and Cane. “Hello there, are you joining the Peace Keepers?” He switched forms in a second and the Deadly Six walked out.
-
They both look at them, somewhat shocked. “Um…yes, we are. We would like to help stop all the madness that’s going on.” She tried to sound brave, but on the inside she was breaking down. She’s never confronted anyone before, much less multiple people at once.
Cane steps half-way in front of Elizi in a protective but non-threatening stance. He knew she was afraid, and he wasn’t about to let anyone hurt her. “We want nothing more than to help. If we have to sign up to be apart of some crazy cult for the rest of our lives, then we’ll be walking.” Cane rarely spoke to anyone besides Elizi, so it caught her a bit off guard. He was right though–as soon as the problem was over they wanted to return home.
-
Gamer smiled. “Ah, you want to help too. Don’t worry, me and my Pokemon won’t hurt you guys. THEM, on the other hand…” Gamer glanced at Zavok, who tersely responded, “Hey, don’t look at ME!” Gamer continued, “Anyway, me and my archenemies here have teamed up to find the source of the disease, it is assumed that a machine they own is what’s causing it.”
-
Elizi looks down at Cane. If these guys refer to each other as enemies when they’re in the same group, how are we supposed to trust them? Cane tenses up even more, and his voice shakes as he speaks. “A machine? Possibly similar to the one that was in Kalos a few years ago?”
My brother was killed in the town that had the machine hiding under it. When it rose up out of the ground, it knocked over his house, and he got crushed by furniture, killing him instantly. That’s something Cane and I never talk about, so I could understand why his voice was shaken.
-
Gamer said, “No, but I helped bring those idiots down. The machine I’m talking about came from another planet, and it belongs to my archenemies here, as I said before. I had no other choice but to team up with these guys, because they created the machine…”
-
Elizi shakes hr head in disgust. “I refuse to believe that the people who sought to destroy the world are trying to save it.” Cane stared at her. She was getting angry, because she was starting to get sassy and mean. “We’ll be leaving, This group is obviously filled with lies.” Oh yeah, there’s no doubt she was at least frustrated.
-
“Wait, we’re not really from this world!” Gamer said, trying to salvage whatever hope we could that the war would end. “I came to this world to try to save it, and then suddenly they showed up. They mentioned something about their Pokemon-morphing machine causing it, so what choice did I have? If you don’t believe me about the other planet, watch.” Gamer had put this off long enough, but now Elizi and Cane were leaving, so what else could he do? He changed forms, becoming a Lucario again. “This is my second form, I can also fly and run at the speed of sound. It seems like a ripoff of that game Sonic the Cyndaquil, but trust me. It’s way slower than that.” Gamer was a big fan of that game, and had a feeling someday he’d help make a new game in the series. ((Foreshadowing to the epilogue!))
-
((Fixed it.))
“Anyway, this group was perfectly normal until we appeared. When something terrible happens, I just hate to let it fly under the radar,” Gamer said. “I was hoping my adventure here would go smoothly, and then they showed up. If they hadn’t appeared, I wouldn’t be talking to you. Also, the machine I’m talking about isn’t like the Kalos incident. It’s actually pretty small, large enough for only one Pokemon or person to fit into. Well, at least, that’s what I heard. I don’t know much about it, all I know is that it allows a Pokemon to become human.” Zavok, trying to help Gamer, finished the statement. “It’s what I used to make my five Pokemon equal to me. If I hadn’t, this chaos would never have happened. I like all the panic going on, but now the machine is missing and WE’RE panicking.”
-
Cane and Elizi stared in disbelief. A machine pokemon walk into to become human, and the liking of panic?! The rage in Cane’s voice kept to a dull roar when he spoke, but it was obvious it was there. “How could you possibly appreciate the mess you’ve created? Do you realize that some families have literally been ripped apart because of this idiotic machine? We came here from Hoenn because Elizi’s parents are missing thanks to all of this madness. They went to help out, but they never made it to their destination. There’s people that are in even worse shape than us- Petalburg has basically bee annihilated by bandits coming and killing people!”
Elizi tried to sound intimidating , “You’re all fools. You’re apart of the Peace Keepers, but you caused this mess? You have no right to to be apart of this group.”
-
Gamer just sighed. “Look, they’re not members of the Peace Keepers, I am one, and I had nothing to do with the machine. They just traced my whereabouts and asked me to team with them. I usually hate them because they absolutely love creating chaos.”
-
Cane shakes his head. “That’s a contradicting sentence. They’re not apart of the Peace Keepers, but you’ve teamed up with them? Elizi, let’s go. This place is way too shady.” Elizi wasn’t really sure what to do, she just stood there awkwardly staring at Cane.
-
“Ugh…,” Gamer said. “Trying to explain is so confusing. I’m going to go look for the machine.” Gamer left and the Deadly Six followed.
-
Well then. Time to zip-zip-zippy oh-so-stealthily around that HQ of theirs, I guess. (Looking at Adrian, he says:) You don’t really seem too happy about this. I know, seems like I’m not really the knowing type, but I had to learn how to tell what was going on in someone a looong time ago. Some weird form of aura whatchamacallit.
-
Adrian hissed angrily at the perceptiveness that just added to the list of annoying traits the Quilava in front of him possessed. “I am not happy about this. You are unpredictable, cowardly and I believe keeping secrets from us. I also still don’t know why you were spying on us. So forgive me if I am not thrilled with the prospect of entering enemy territory with a wild card.”
Sandstream ceased humming to point excitedly out the window, “We’re getting closer!”
Gaelan nodded, “Looks like it’s show time.”
Ryuu parked the car with the Rocket Logo still emblazed upon the sides a ways away from the Peace Keeper HQ so it would not immediately be discovered.
