Peace Keeper HQ
-
What, do you just hate me that much? I’ll just look around and waaait a minute. There are 7 peeps who are really not normal. I can maybe avoid them for just long enough to get inside the building. Or, I can get their , ah, “Attention”, while YOU storm the HQ. Sound good?
-
Gaelan shrugged, “As long as you’re okay with getting their attention. Send up some sort of signal if you get into too much trouble.” Turning to his Pokemon, the trainer instructed, “Get ready to go once Jason’s got their attention.”
-
Suddenly, before Gamer could leave, a message came from the mysterious guide known as CF.
MESSAGELOG:
CF: Jason from the adventure you had a while back is about to distract you guys while some others break in.
Gamer: Ah, THIS was the time he was sent to.
This changed everything. Gamer said, “Guys, you keep him busy,” while he shot over behind the intruders. He decided to frighten them, so he said, “All right, what’s the big idea trying to intrude on the end of the war?” -
As soon as the newcomer appeared, Gaelan’s pokemon immediately took battle ready stances.
Sandstream hissed and immediately jumped onto Gaelan’s back, wings outstretched and fangs bared as she prepared to leap at the Lucario threatening her friends.
Adrian merely turned his large armored head and glared at the upstart warily.
Brielle tensed up, settling into a boxing stance as she sized up Gamer. He was within range of her specialty uppercut but she merely bounced lightly on her feet, waiting for any sign of hostile action before starting a fight.
Gaelan himself scowled as he fixed two angry red eyes on Gamer, his expression contorting into one of pure hate at the thought of those goody-two shoes Peace Keepers. How had they been discovered so quickly? Was there a mole in the True Heirs organization? Sandstream shivered slightly as she felt the amount of anger emanating from her trainer.
Gaelan hissed, “You have to be kidding me. The end of the war? This is just the beginning! Now, just how did you know we were coming? We can do this the easy way or the fun way…”
-
Looking up almost bored, he says,”Do I know you? You kinda sorta familiar. Oh well, I guess there is some deus ex machina going to happen soon, huh? I think an older Lucario guy told me that. Taught me some cool stuff too.”
“You know, you seem kinda like that guy. You know, that one guy who used to tell you about all sorts of shenanigans?” Jason seems almost unimpressed by the quick discovery of the little party. “Gee, of all the times this could’ve happened, of all the times I’ve gone in here, NOW, with this bunch of whackos no less, you find me. Whoop dee doo, Sherlock.”
Jason turns, waiting for an answer to his rambling speech. ((I have returned! HA HA HA!))
-
Gamer folded his arms. “Hmph, seems like you’ve never heard of omnipotent guides,” he said with a smirk. “Also, I have found some info that could end this war and return this world to its happy, peaceful days. I’ll do anything, even if it means working with my six worst enemies over there.” Meanwhile, Zavok said to Jason, “Which Lucario do you speak of, exactly? The master of Aura, or the traveler?”
-
Gaelan glared at the smug looking Lucario. “And just what is this oh so important info? Or are you wretched Peace Keepers jut stalling for time?” The trainer made a scoffing noise which conveyed just how much he believed in the truth of the Lucario’s words. “If you find a way to stop the disease, that’s great. But don’t even think about trying to interfere with our plans or our fight. We want whatever info you have on the legendary Pokémon and the wild Pokémon HQ, and I’m not leaving until I get it.”
-
“I found out there is a machine gone haywire that’s causing it. By the way, I didn’t know that the wild Pokemon are part of this. Same thing with the Legendaries. Sorry, but I can’t tell you anything. All I know is I used to have a Legendary of my own, a Xerneas named Jane. A friend of mine also had a Dialga named Dave, but I doubt that’s relevant. Anyway, I’m not letting you guys hurt my sort-of-allies in there. If you do, you’ll have to get through me.”
-
Both of the trainer’s eyebrows achieved lift-off and rose to somewhere just above Gaelan’s hairline.
” ‘Sort-of-‘ allies? Is something causing a schism amongst your little gang of spineless Peace-keepers? Well, good to know.” The diseased Pokémon trainer grinned wickedly, revealing perfectly square teeth. “Luckily, I have no intention of hurting your ‘sort-of’ allies as long as you lot stay out of my way. I promise. I’m just here to…procure… intel and supplies for the True Heirs.”Internally he shuddered at the thought of becoming like Gamer. ‘I used to have’ ? Did that mean he was a trainer originally and yet still ended up joining the Peacekeepers instead of the True Heirs!? Despicable! Anger made the collar of his shirt feel tight and restricting. Gaelan gritted his teeth and shoved a hand into his pockets, subconsciously rolling a small metal tin about between his palm and thumb. Catching himself, the trainer hissed and forced himself to worry the edge of his shirt instead. He promised himself he would never use those…
“I’ve had enough of this. Don’t think you can just scare me off,” the trainer began to unload the portable oxygen tanks,”Come on, guys. Let’s see if the Peace Keeper’s HQ has anything we can use.”
-
Welp, that did it. Gamer was angry. Going Triple-type and flaming his hand up, he said, “Does THIS scare you? I may not have joined the Peace Keepers, but I will not sit idly by and watch people take their things. I, Taren “Gamer” Recurio, will not let ANYONE stop the tide of destiny! And this war’s destiny is to be over within a year! If you try to prevent that, then I’m sorry, but I will have to send you back from whence you came.” He smiled. “And I know how much you Rockets hate being blasted off.” The flame jumped from one hand to another with just a glare of Gamer’s eyes. He hated giving his real name, but what other choice did he have to sound intimidating?
-
Now unsure of what the “Peace Keepers” are really about, Elizi and Cane start travel across Kanto. With not much of a choice, they decide to travel to whatever may be left of Pallet Town. They heard so many great stories about the tiny place- like how it is where the Champion Red grew up. Elizi shudders, and sits down on the ground after several hours of traveling. She got exhausted a long time ago, but she didn’t want Cane to think she was weak. He already knew she was really tired, though.
-
Gaelan’s eyes widened in surprise as he saw “Gamer” transform. Even normal Lucario were dangerous to fight in the wild, but the fireball dancing on his fingertips made this one seem especially dangerous. Not to mention, he wouldn’t want Brielle fighting any Pokémon who knew fire type attacks. But, even so, this creature was still just a Pokémon. Not to mention, it was impossible for him to let certain statements stand.
“HEY! I am NOT a Rocket. I just happen to be driving in a car previously belonging to Team Rocket.”
Letting the indignation fall out of his voice, Gaelan continued, “And did you really just say the word, ‘whence’? How pretentious can you get!? I don’t care at all about you so called, ‘Tides of Destiny’. The future is shaped by choices and actions, not by some know-it-all river splash. Who are you to say what we True Heirs can and cannot do!?” -
“Who am I? I’m an adventurer with more to me than meets the eye.” When Gamer said this, he then noticed he was more a human than a Pokemon. He switched to his normal human form and said, “This is my true form, a human. I’m from another planet, and I have the ability to turn into a Pokemon. I also do a little work with bioengineering, I created a project that gives Pokemon a third type when they want.”

[Ok yay! I’ve been approved]
A man baring a resemblance to a weavile carefully makes his way to peace keeper HQ. he stays completely hidden until he makes it to the door. He extends his claws and taps on the door. He speaks in a smooth, deep voice.
“Hello? Hello? Is anyone here?”
-
Zavok, now bearing some resemblance to an Arcanine, walked up to the man from behind. “Hello, I would stay out of the way of those guys over there,” he said, pointing to Gaelan, Gamer, and the others. “Not the Lucario who just turned into a normal-looking boy, however. He’s such a goody-two-shoes.”
