“ALMOST!” the tiny land shrieked. “IT’S COMPLETELY UNBEARABLE!” she flopped down, still holding the guy’s leg, and huddled under her long coat again. “Wait. Do I know you?” Antarctica peered out from underneath the coat at Canada.
-
Canada gave her an amused look,”You do, I’m Canada, merci.” He grunted and waggled his leg out of her grip,”But if you excuse me, I must be heading back to my hotel. “It was nice to see you Antarctica.” He started down the beach again, pale scars almost unnoticeable on his back.
-
Antarctica leapt up, not wanting to be left alone in the heat, then staggered slightly. (by the way, Antarctica is terrible with remembering people unless she interacts with them a lot, and most people don’t know she’s not a little kid.) She realised that Canada’s hotel probably had air conditioning, and grew even less friendly to the idea of staying where she was. “WAIT UP!” she yelled, jogging after him.
-
Canada looked back and stopped waiting for her to catch up, once she did, he started to walk,”What now?” He asked in an amused tone, “You want to join me in my room? Some company would be appreciated.”
-
Antarctica blushed, and muttered something under her breath.”I just wanna get insiiiide. So….yeah,” she finished nearly silently.
-
Canada grinned down at her,”Well then, come along,eh.” He started to walk back to his hotel once more, tucking his book under an arm.
Once arriving, he took the elevator up to one of the top floors and walked to his room. He opened the door and walked inside, closing it as the smaller girl walked through the door. -
Antarctica’s appearance changed to that of a ten-year-old while Canada wasn’t looking, and she smiled at his back as he walked further into his hotel room.
“What are you reading that’s so good, anyways?” she asked, standing awkwardly near the door. -
Canada shrugged,”It’s an old French book, about the evils in the world. It’s very good, if I might say.” He shuffled around his room and sat down on his bed, tucking the book on the table and turned to her. “So?”
-
“Do you have a freezer?” she asked, ignoring the fact that it was an odd question.
-
Canada looked around the room, spotting a mini fridge, he gestured to it,”Would that work?”
-
“Depends on whether or not it dispenses ice…..” she trailed off, reading a pamphlet on the bedstand. freezer room on the third floor, open to all. Requires key-card.
-
Canada gave her a weird look,”Why would you need ice?”

Japan finally got up from his position, which was laying down on the sand with one hand covering his eyes. Jumping up, he yelled out an “Ahhhhh!” Took off his shirt, and practically dived into the water. Opening his eyes, he watched the sand covered ocean floor before breaking to the surface of the water. Catching his breath, he stayed afloat and looked around him. I wish someone was here for me to swim with… He sighed out, and began to swim to the side to see if anyone else was at the beach too.
-
“I don’t! Do you have an extra card?” Antarctica asked, giving the northern country puppy eyes.
-
Canada sighed and grabbed one from the bed side table and tossed it at the small girl,”Go wild. But don’t get your self kicked out, you have the card, so I’ll get kicked out too.”
