Roleplay Room
Posted by Unknown Member on February 26, 2015 at 2:16 am(The setting will start in Skyrim, due to that being the most commonly known.)
Creed walked down the wooden steps and onto the harbor of the docks of Solitude, taking in the impressive scenery.
“I might just make it here.” Creed said to himself. He strolled along the boardwalk, quietly humming.

Kyle grabbed his bags of goods and walked down the steps of the store. “I should clear dungeons more often.” He mumbled to himself. He sold all the loot he found and bought many things. Some fine armor to replace his rags, cure disease potions, and actual food. He’ll actually have a meal tonight.
((I just realized this started!! I’m going to see if I can get a few people to join))

He walked into a tavern, looking for merchants for food and shelter for the night. He would sleep in Solitude for the night, and the morning after explore the land of Skyrim without purpose. Creed entered the main square, and discovered himself in the midst of a crowd, booing a man in rags, accompanied by an executioner and some form of Imperial Soldier.
“What’s going on?” Creed asked a bystander, watching the events with rapt attention.
“Eh? They’re executing Roggvir. Dirty traitor he is, he let the Stormcloaks escape!” The old man grunted, booing loudly.
“Storm…cloaks?” Creed asked in confusion, watching the man.
“They’re the rebels to the empire, foreigner.” A woman with graying hair said, answering his question. “They want to separate themselves from the Empire and make Skyrim their own country, then run it into the ground!” She suddenly shouted, aiming it towards the man onstage.
The man was forced on his knees, and before Creed’s eyes, his head was cleanly removed from his body by the mighty swing of the Executioner’s blade.

Kyle heard booing in the growing crowd behind him. “Huh? What’s going on this time..?” He muttered. Before Kyle could even process the scene, the kneeling Stormcloak’s head was swiftly sliced off.
“What just happened?” Kyle asks the women near him.
“Old Roggvir was a traitor! I can’t believe I trusted that man.. May the Divines curse his rotten soul in the void!” She yells.
Not wanting to get involved, Kyle backed away.

“I thought I was the only Mer in Solitude.” Creed tried to joke, chuckling awkwardly.
-
“I thought the same thing, most of them look like Nords or Redguards.” He says to the man, looking at the people walking away.
“I’m just a mere traveler, although what brings an Elf like you to Solitude?” He asks.

“I come from Morrowind…I’m a monk, of sorts. Do you hail from there as well?” Creed asked the lanky elf.

Kyle shakes his head. “I come from Riften. I’m not apart of that damned thieves guild though, I’d rather live in poverty than be a pathetic thief that’s drunk all the time.” He says.
Kyle isn’t exactly a thief, everything he has came from dead bodies he found when he travels. He got mistaken as a Nightingale a lot by some of the thieves while he was in Riften due to the armor he wears. He finds those Nightingales pathetic as well, the one he found was destroyed by a mere troll.

Kyle nods. “That sounds nice. It seems as though no matter what side you’re on, people disagree.” He tries not to get involved with the war, but it’s hard when there are soldiers training everywhere.
