A familiar voice echoes at the back of HiFly’s mind. “Get everyone off the planet, now!”

Ree rolled his head around and stared at the feed. “Dude, that’s mean. And weak, hostage holding is pretty weak. Just get it yourself, it’s the correct thing to do. I know the OGA is meant to accomplish greatness any means necessary, but weakness is not an option.”

Apollo nods to nobody and quickly grabs Apollo, Faye, Pandora, and Andaluza, then mirrors to Lot Gamma-23. “Andaluza, you fly.” <i>He then conked out.</i>

“We…are not…OGA…” The voice rumbled menacingly, his black sword swinging in his hand.
“I did not begin my battle for greatness…it is linear. One beginning, one end. I began this battle for vengeance. I will kill Faye. I will kill Andaluza…I will kill Odysseus…and you will not stop me. This battle is not noble. It is not glory. It is murder. I will force the ones who have hurt me to feel the pain I felt…and make them watch…and then I will finally kill them. You may try to stop me…but I have already beaten you…and this time, I will not spare your life.”

Ree stared into the assassin’s helmet. “Very well then. I will kill Apollo then. And you will not stop me.”

Andaluza hit the launch and rocketed it into space. “Woohoo! I’m flying! Apollo, who told you to get us off the planet?”

“Tell me, Calypsa…was it worth it to harbor a fugitive that destroyed…billions of planets? All that loyalty to him…and this is your payment.” <i>The assassin leaned in close, the smell of burning metal pungent to her.</i>
“You will not touch Apollo. He is the only good member among the Keepers…if you try to touch him…I will tear your flesh apart.”

“Oh, so it’s about me having flesh, isn’t it? At least I didn’t get my butt burned off and had to live in a robot forever like you do. And why are we not doing anything other than vengeance? Why aren’t we conquering?”

Apollo’s eyes washed open as he began opening the navigation board. “Where are we going? Did Calypsa tell you anything else? Where is anything anymore?! We gotta get to her!”

Ozymandias’ face appears on the Assassin’s screen, and smiles, having removed his mask. “How about I save all of you the trouble, and you just give me the pleasure of having all of you dead.” Ozymandias looks at Calypsa, unconscious in a chair. “I don’t care about her, not anymore. Odysseus might, but he can’t answer the phone right now. Kill her for all I care, but know this. If you do, you will break Odysseus, and he is far more forgiving than I am. If you break him, nothing will stop me. So please, actually, kill her. He’s the only trace of a conscience I have left.” Ozymandias looks at the Assassin and smiles, with a face of recognition. “You know loss, don’t you? You know what it does to a man. You know what it did to me, to you, but to do it to Odysseus, a man who has already suffered like this before… You’re worse than I am. I look forward to spending time with you in Hell, old friend, because that’s the only place left for men like me, well, not me. Just you.” The feed cuts.

The metal voice chuckled, fingering the hilt of the sword.
“What makes you think I am simply…robotic? I am as mortal as you are, young one…however, I am beyond you. Because I do not fight for domination, nor power. I fight to make things right. To…balance the scales. Eliminate all at once the evil in this world. Once I kill the liars, the cheaters, the…scum of humanity that hides behind morals and politics to fuel their desperate grasp of power. Once I complete my task…then I will be free to die in peace.” The assassin walked closer to Calypsa, running his fingers down his sword.
“Do you hear him? After all that loyalty…he cares little for your fate. Are you ready to die?”

Ree stared into the assassin’s eyes. “No. The Keepers fight for what’s right, not you. You want vengeance, only. Not to restore order. The OGA advances genetics, the wrong way. Gosh, they need to go. But you first.”
Ree created a shockwave and destroyed the entire hull of the ship, blasting the assassin back against the monitors. “Let her go!”

“I’m disappointed, old friend. I thought that you were better than this.” Calypsa musters these words, then springs her legs down, flipping the chair and breaking it on the floor. She frees her restraints, and takes off down the hall, towards the escape pods. “Dig two graves! You’ll need them both!”

The assassin turned around, quickly sinking his sword in Ree’s chest.
“I’m sorry.” <i>He whispered. Suddenly there was an explosion and the ship began to crash, descending towards the ground. </i>
“No! NO!“

Before the assassin could chase after Calypsa, an explosion rocked the end of the ship, and the body of Ree and him went blasting out, floating in the sky as they rapidly approached the city, bright orange contrasting against the rainy night, thunder striking near them as they flew closer and closer to the ground.
“NO!”
