Katherine looked shocked, “Damn, that’s some tough stuff.”

“Yeah. Too bad she died.” Jack said nonchalantly, flipping through Rose’s cards.

I would’ve let you fall. Geralt climbs up into the passenger seat. We’ll talk this out later. Right now I just want to go explore the city. Kill some thugs. Be a bit of a vigilante. Katherine, would you like to join me, perhaps? I’ve gotten to know Rose, but I’d like to get to know you as well.

“We have to get to a safehouse first, Bark-Man. Once we get the info from Zani, we can infiltrate an arms deal in a factory somewhere in the city and you can go all vigilante as much as you want.”

“Why, so you could borrow ’em? Your ears are already big and floppy enough.”

Katherine grabbed the cards and put them in her bra, “Don’t touch Rose’s stuff Mr. Grumpy.” Katherine raised an eyebrow at Geralt’s statement and shrugged. “Whatever Mr. Wolf, hey, Mr. Grumpy, can I also torture this Zani guy?”

“Yeah, go ahead. I need somebody to. I hope you’re creative.” Jack responded.

Katherine shrugged, “Depends on how much information you need, because I could draw more than just a bit of blood if you’ll let me.” Her grin turned a tad bit insane.

“Yeah, go nuts.” <i>Jack said, digging in his pockets.</i>
“Fuck, I left my stuff in my other clothes. Which are in a burning club bathroom. Fucking terrific. Anyone got a spare cig?” He asked.

Kika just controls her breathing as she parks in an apartment parking lot in the middle of town. She opens the doors and walks out of the vehicle, waving for everyone to follow, “C’mon. We can crash at my place right now.”

Katherine grinned widely, “Great.”
She frowned a bit, “You’re human, right, Mr. Grumpy? You should really stop smoking.”

“Again, I don’t get affected by shit like this.” Jack said, walking out of the car with Kika.
“Fuck, it’s cold.” Jack said, stuffing his hands in the pockets of the daisy dukes.

Katherine walked out and grinned a bit before making some fire appear near Jack, a safe distance but close enough to warm him up.

“Thanks. And you say you’re the mean one.” Jack chuckled, warming up.
