“Of course they lay eggs. I’m not sure about Katherine though. If she’s laying eggs she might not be able to change into Rose. However if she’s impregnated as Rose she can’t become Katherine. Not that anyone would want to”

“Gross.” Jack said.

Katherine shrugged, “Ask the pure-breed. I’m not even so sure how I was conceived so…”
“If you want you can join in on the fun, I was only going to skin him alive, slowly. Though classic interrogation is fine.”

“Well, you’re half-human, and you don’t really have an Ascendii anatomy besides the wings.” Jack said, pointing out her human physique.

“Skinning is out. We are vigilantes, not criminals. This is about justice. Any of you read A Tale of Two Cities?”

Apollo flew around Katherine, examining her closely. “An egg conceived you but I’m not sure about Rose.”

“They have the same body. I’m pretty sure she’s just human with hollow bones and wings. Let’s drop the subject.” Jack grumbled.

Katherine nodded, “The original may have had them, but I’m not sure what they did so we may only have the wings.”
Katherine pouted a bit, “Fine.”

Apollo nodded. “This is indeed boring. Why do this when we can be exploring the house?” Apollo immediately takes off into the top floor, signaling Katherine to follow.

Katherine shrugged and followed soon after, “I’ll be joining Mr. Pure Breed in the mean time.”

Odysseus proceeds into the small room where Zani is being held, and takes a sip from his tea, as he sits down at a chair facing Zani. “So, Mr. Zani, you have information that I need. And I’m the nicest one in our group, so you better get talking.” Zani sits there silently, and Odysseus slaps him across the face. “We’re you not listening? I’m the nice one! My friends in there wanted to skin you alive, but I said to them ‘No! I’m sure this guy is reasonable!’ And now you thank me by being stubborn. I don’t want to call my colleagues in here, but I will, unless you tell me where you are getting your money from, and how you are related to the OGA.”

Apollo looked at Katherine weirdly. “You’re going to have to start calling me Apollo unless you want 200 Ascendii heads looking at you when we go to Inversia…” Apollo lands at the 8th floor attic, crawling under the short roof and holding the fire carefully to illuminate the room.
