Rose nodded at the info, wondering how she was supposed to give this important information to Katherine. She raised her hand slightly, “Ah yes, um, does any one have any spare bandages or cloth? I just remembered that I was hurt on the way.” She smiled a bit at her own carelessness. “But, um, other than that. I was wondering if you’ve planned anything for as to how we’re going to stop the OGA?” She was not careless as to trust anyone in the room, but she meant business plus if they tried anything, well then, as the saying goes, ‘Off with their heads’.
-
Odysseus pulls out some gauze from another compartment in his exoskeleton, and hands it to Rose. “The OGA, as you know, is an incredibly efficient, well-funded, and ruthless organization. One of the only ways to stop it is to create a united front. Mass rebellion. That’s what we can be: figureheads. Proof that the OGA can be taken down and eradicated. Their leader is essentially untouchable, however. No one has ever seen his face, nor do they know his identity, but he goes by the name of Ozymandias. His chief commander, however, named Midzog, might be more accessible.”
-
Geralt arrives at the meeting location. He concentrates on listening for any speech and hears a man speaking. Perhaps the man who made the fliers? He then hears a female, she seems quite loud and joyous, and she is asking for bandages. Geralt then decides to slip through the door, and as he closes the door his bushy tail gets a few furs caught in the entryway. He hears a man speaking of the objectives of the group and of 2 other men: Ozymandias and Midzog. Geralt then yelps in pain as strands of fur get yanked from his tail. He only then realizes how close the door actually was to the area the others were in. Geralt quickly tries to regain his composure and slowly leaves the door towards the others. He then states I guess I’m late to the party?

“Ody’ll inform you later. And sadly, no…er, Kika. While you will be paid very handsomely for all the crazy shit we do, the life expectancy of missions like this are very low. Hell, the only reason why I’ve gotten this far is because I can’t technically die the way normal people can. Maybe a decapitation from the head, but other than that, nope. Know the risks before you take the job. And one other thing. I have a bit of an anger problem. So if during the missions, I go a little nuts, follow what Ody does. Not interfere,”
-
Kika looks at the bot with a partially confused look, the plan not making a lot of sense to her right now, “Wait. Listen to what you just said. ‘OGA is incredibly efficient, well-funded, and ruthless.’ And you think going loud and proud with our team of misfits is going to do anything? Remember the Mongols of Earth? They were efficient in their raids, well-funded from the pillaging, and dare I even mention how they were ruthless? No, going big won’t–” She turns around to hear a person walking in, her speech cut off by the slam of a door.
“Oh, hey. No, you are right on time, pup.” She looks over at Jack, “That’s understandable. He a part of us too?”
-
Odysseus pulls Jack aside. “You can’t expect me to lead these people, even in your place. I’m here to help when you need it. Not get attached.”
-
So, anger problems, follow the metal man, and- hey! I’m not a pup! I’ll have you know that if I was a “pup,” as you call me, I’d have died out there on the streets as a runt. Geralt only noticed what the man in charge said and the last thing the little human had said.Anyways, if this is the place I’m looking for – I’m assuming I’m in the right place after seeing this odd group – then we should just run in with swift speed and destroy them from the inside-out, you know, after tearing a hole to the inside first.

We will be technically breaking the law, and while the seemingly random messages about my team you have gotten on your phones, your Communicators, whatever. They weren’t random. I have extensively looked into each of your profiles…somewhat. You’re all pretty scattered, with some odd pasts. But I know each and every one of you are capable of joining me into doing what is technically illegal, but nevertheless for the good of Earth. If you volunteer, this missions pay is 35,000 credits.” Jack threw the folder on the table.
“It’s a real easy mission, so don’t worry. We find someone known as only Kreed. He’s been supplying weapons to the big-time gangs on the Eastern slums in this city. We’ll find him in a club called the Golden Lotus. Interrogate him, find the weapon storages, which will be heavily guarded. We fight, we get rid of the weapons, fat paycheck.”
-
“You know I don’t need any payment, Jack. Shall I handle interrogation, or technical concerns?” Odysseus pulls down a pair of goggles over his eyes, stands up, sheathes his dagger, puts on black gloves, adjusts his bow tie, and gets out his umbrella.
-
Guess this Big-Men-Ignore-Geralt Day or something… Whatever. A mission is a mission and pay is pay.. Wait, but this isn’t what I had in mind.. I thought we’d be taking down the OGA once and for all. Finishing them off. This isn’t a mission concerning the OGA, so why would we take this mission when we can plot the destruction of the OGA? Geralt feels anything that strays from the main objective is a waste of time. This side-mission isn’t what he had came for, he came to end the OGA. Geralt further thinks things through and realizes that this is a team just recently formed. Not even much of a team, just a conglomeration of random people who were all affected by the OGA. Maybe working together before taking on the OGA would be a smart move. I take back my previous statement, I’m all for this mission. We get to keep the guns, right? Geralt then imagines a beautiful rifle with the functionality of a woman, the usefulness of a brain, and the beauty of a sleek spaceship. Then he thinks back to his own arsenal: a twin serrated dagger and a handgun with enough ware on it to be an antique.
-
Rose thanked Odysseus and watched the whole confrontation as she patched herself up, giggling softly at some points. “Hmm, I actually know Kreed, I helped him a while back.” Rose finally spoke, gaining everyone’s attention. She smiled a bit at the ‘pup’, eyeing his ‘accessories’ with glee.
-
Kika looks at the folder and listens to the next monologue by the man. ‘Of course.’ She thinks to herself, ‘Can’t ditch your criminal roots, can you Jack? It’s people like you that need to be locked up or dead…and I will be sure to tell them to keep your head separate…’
She pages though the folder, looking at all of the important details. “What did these gangs do then? You sure we can’t recruit them with us?” She nods a bit, glancing at the others in the room, “We could always use more for our cause.”
‘And I could always use a bit more coin per head.’ She thinks to herself. She looks down and does a mental inventory of her gear: Datapad, Small Pistol (just in case), Voice Recorder, Digital Camera, and the cords to connect all the electronics together. ‘Well, maybe I can stick around and be loyal for now…’
-
Odysseus glances at Kika for a moment, then glances down at his pocket watch as it begins to buzz quietly. “It seems that I have been called away on some business. Best of luck on your mission.” Odysseus begins to walk towards the door, and slips a piece of paper into Kika’s hands as he walks out.

Your specialty. And you know, Kika, you shouldn’t insult someone who’s about to give you thirty-five thousand fuckin’ dollars. We’re not recruiting this kinda garbage. You think I’m bad, you’ll see. Now, follow me.” Jack walked out of the room into the fridge, opening it and pulling on a bottle of ketchup. It slid to the right from the compartment on the door, the wall the refrigerator was put against slowly opening to the left with a groan, revealing a hidden passageway.
“Sorry, Ody. Didn’t have time to ask. Follow me.” Jack disappeared into the passage.
-
“You have five minutes, and then I will need leave. This other matter is more urgent. Show me what you have.” Odysseus proceeds down the cooridor following Jack as his hands slightly twitch.
