Apollo crashed out of the back of the room, grabbing Midzog by the collar and running him through the ground. “Nobody – hurts – anyone – who – is – with – me – and – gets – away – with – it!” Apollo, now halfway to Inversia’s bedrock, sets Midzog on fire underground, burying him deeper and letting him burn. Apollo then flies out of the hole. “Katherine? Ody?”

“You honestly think that could kill him? HiFly, so naive. Stop fighting. We need to get out of here. Now.”

Katherine forcibly got out of Odysseus’ hold and stared down a bit, her eyes dulled as memories flashed before her mind of whenever Midzog was in the lab. Katherine was bleeding from her face but she didn’t seem to notice as she figured the card in her pocket.
Katherine nodded obediently and headed outside silently, Malice trailing behind her.

Apollo immediately darted towards Odysseus, holding him in the air. “Either he goes, or you do, Odysseus.”

Odysseus takes up a higher position, scaling across rooftops towards the wall as he tracks the moving patrols and monitors the safety of his fellow team members.

Apollo was confused at what Ody just said. “Midzog is incapacitated for now at least. Will take him a while to get out of the ground. For now we have to watch out for Andaluza.” Apollo flew above, checking if everyone was OK.

Andaluza takes another running leap over the fort wall, landing right in front of Apollo and delivering a punch to his face.

While Apollo, Katherine, and Odysseus were fighting Andaluza and Midzog, Geralt has been firing on soldiers that were moving in on their position. God damn it, you all were noticed so quickly. There was no time for the guards to be unaware of a breach. As soon as everything went to hell for Apollo and Katherine, guards were already moving to their position. That’s the 32nd kill, now? Too many. Geralt has gone through 5 mags of his bolt-action rifle’s stock of ammunition already. I only have these four current rounds and 2 more mags. If they don’t speed things up- what is that? Geralt sees Ody taking the high ground to monitor the battlefield. What is he doing? Geralt then sees Apollo, as well. If all of them are visible, shouldn’t Katherine also be visible? She went with Apollo. Did that random human keep her distracted, or even worse, get her killed? Geralt looks back and sees Kika running up to him. As Kika arrives to his position, she tells him that further action against the OGA on their home-turf is suicide and that she is going to escape. She gave him a location for him to go to. (Yes, I actually told him to say this – Nat) Alright, I’ll see what can be done I’m going to wait for Rose/Katherine to return. I could try to bring Rose/Katherine along with me. I don’t want to leave to wherever this is without her. She’s the one I trust the most. Geralt receives the coordinates and turns around to continue to provide suppressing fire as Kika makes her escape, unnoticed by Odysseus or Apollo. She has always seemed like a loner, anyways. Rose/Katherine, please return quickly.

Apollo flies directly over Geralt, holding a steady cone of fire at the OGA soldiers swarming around him closely. “Gather everyone in the hangar! Anyone who has enough ammunition, please hold us here a bit longer!” An explosion occurs at the east tower from Andaluza’s destruction. “Oh, and STAY OUT OF HIS SIGHT!”

Odysseus channels his weapon fire from the roof and leaps between roof levels and ground paths, incapacitating several OGA officers as he leads the charge to a central hangar. “Come on,” he shouts. “Get to the ships!” Odysseus pulls Apollo to the side. “I will be remaining behind on the planet. I have a meeting with your brother, Gideon, planning a resistance movement. Get a ship, and get off the planet with these new recruits. They’re promising. I’ll try to hold the other soldiers off; buy you a bit of time.” Odysseus winks and runs towards the remaining soldiers, brandishing twin electrified steel spathas (swords of ancient Mediterranean design, typically straight and narrow).

Apollo looks into Ody’s eyes. “I trust your decision, but why are you remaining on here without proper support? Inversia weakens you, quite a bit.”

Katherine switched to Rose when she went too deep in her thoughts. When Rose saw the battlefield she frowned a bit, worried about how Katherine switched in a battle, before she began fighting the soldiers that noticed her. As Rose saw Kika flee the scene she shook her head, worry and suspicion edging her mind.
Rose put it off to slice a few soldiers as she spun, slashing open their necks with a small prayer. She had a feeling someone was watching but couldn’t place it, it wasn’t Malice, wait Malice was here?! Rose shook her head to focus when she saw Odysseus and Apollo talking. A soldier snagged her wing and she stabbed him in the skull. All the deaths were quick and a bit bloody.

Malice watches the battle as it continues, letting Parapara devour on the souls of the fallen soilders

Geralt hears Apollo and looks around to see the soldiers moving on his position. Geralt sees the quickest way to the hangars and decides a risk needs to be taken. Geralt strikes down the closest soldiers and then makes a break for the hangar, occasionally opening fire on soldiers that notice him in his flight for a ship. If I can secure a ship for us, everything will be alright. Geralt calls out to his group: Katherine, Apollo, we need to get a ship as fast as possible, I’m running to the hangar and I believe I’ll be able to take one. More soldiers close in on Geralt and he screams at them, causing their inner ears to burst and begin bleeding. He then fires off a howl with the strength of a sonic boom to push the men in front of him out of his way. No one is taking me out today. Geralt continues his sprint for the hangar, his rifle on his back bouncing on his back while the one in his hands is held by white-knuckled hands. Must keep on.

Apollo slides on the freshly waxed floor down to the loading bay. “Geralt! This one seems good!” Apollo pointed to a rather large cruiser that looked like a big frigate with lots of cannons. What Apollo didn’t realize was that was Andaluza’s flagship.
