Odysseus wakes up in the middle of the Golden Lotus, concealed behind the bar with blood on his hands and fresh bullet holes in his armor. He peaks over the counter, seeing Kreed slumped over the table, a bullet hole in his head, and several armored figures approaching the bar. “Where are they?” Odysseus mutters, looking for Jack and his team expectantly.

“What the fuck?! Don’t shoot, you dumbasses!” Jack shouted at the team, as the room exploded in gunfire and smoke as the force went against the number of previously relaxing thugs and criminals in the room. He sighed, charging into a man in a suit pointing a gun at Geralt, slamming into his chest as the man flew across the room, crashing into a table.
“Kreed’s dead?! What the hell happened-oh, shit.” Jack stared at a woman, grinning maliciously and holding a shotgun, pointing it at him. Before he could think about not wearing a bulletproof vest, the space between the woman and him exploded, and he went rocketing into a wall.

Unknown to Jack and the others Katherine took over once more, she looked at the scene before following Jack. Katherine sneaked behind the woman when she was distracted and held a knife towards her neck before analyzing the scene further. “Kreed was a busy man, he had no need for the death you’ve given him. Care to explain before I do something worse to you?” Katherine encased the woman with her wings, rendering her unable to move and in a dangerous position to get crushed.

Kika looks over at Jack and glares at him, honestly not sure if he was talking to us or the others in the room. No time to ask, she thinks, quickly kicking over a table to use as a cover, overhearing the fact that Kreed was dead, “Well, so much for that plan…” Her eyes widen as she hears a loud shot as Jack is flung across the room, “Wow, you really are bad at making friends…” She peeks over the edge and fires a few silenced shots at the other armored figures, trying to shoot their arms or hands rather than the armored chest.

Katherine kept the woman hostage making the armored figures around hesitate and be easily shot down, she spotted a woman by the side doing so. Katherine didn’t do much else considering the man, pwho she remembered from her last time being awake, said.

Kika smirks and shoots out the legs from under the rest of the figures, slowly starting to stand up, as she loads in the next clip, pocketing her used one for later if needed. She glances around the room and makes sure they are all on the ground, “Your call, Rose! Negotiate!” Kika keeps her weapon at the ready over the table, ready to shoot the first one that raises a firearm.

Katherine looked at the human female mildly impressed but also suspicious of her, she wondered for a brief moment if Rose trusted this human. The more quiet personality didn’t dwell long on this before she tightened her hold on the female. Making her cry out and stop the other people from attacking for the moment. “I did ask kindly if you would explain, so I guess I’ll have to quit the nice act. Now, explain the situation, oh and drop your weapons while your at it.” For added emphasis Katherine sliced the obviously higher up woman on the arm a bit deeply.

<i>Odysseus leaps up and out from behind the counter, wielding his electronic batons and taking down several guards, including with a Vac-Mine, creating a miniature vacuum to suck them all into a tight space and disorient them. Having corralled them properly, Odysseus pulls out a pistol and trains it on the huddled group of guards. </i>”Well, this didn’t go as planned.”

The entire time Geralt had been firing on the armored guards, providing suppressive fire with his automatic rifle. The guards had been a bit more wary once they realized that someone was firing to provide a distraction. Two magazines were expended by the time Rose had captured the higher up, things slowed down. The guards started to become distracted with the fact that their higher up was being held hostage with a knife ready to sink in deep. Once Rose called for the guards to drop their weapons, Geralt stopped firing, but he kept his sights locked on the guards. By this time Geralt had expended another magazine, shell casings littering the ground at his feet. Geralt then said to the force If you don’t drop your weapons and surrender, one of our groups will be going home in body-bags, and we plan on making sure that if that happens you all will be the ones in the bags. Geralt didn’t like the situation they were in; they were in a location they didn’t scope out. Intelligence would’ve been nice to have. Geralt then started letting his eyes dart around, checking his surroundings for avenues of approach reinforcements could use.

Katherine only spared a glance towards the man’s direction, how annoying, Rose knew she hated crowding. She preferred work alone, things like interrogation were great. “No, I suppose it didn’t.” Unlike Rose, Katherine would never bother to entertain the thought of teammates, though it seriously happened much to often. Sighing, Katherine knocked out the woman not the slightest bit gentle as she let her fall to the floor.

Katherine smirked at the frozen guards, “Let the games begin?” She didn’t wait for a response before taking out her crossbows and shooting them in the neck, no mercy.

Kika takes cover behind the table as the bows fire and kill near everyone in the room, “What the hell!?” Talk about unnecessary casualties…these men should have been turned in. Wait, what did they even do!? She growls to herself, looking at Jack with a glare.

As Geralt notices Rose maliciously kill most of the guards, he decides to open fire, cutting down the remaining few in their confusion of the events that had transpired. I don’t think it was necessary to kill the remaining guards, it seemed like we had them where we wanted them. Oh well, Geralt thought, At least all of us are alive. What’s next? Geralt picked up the three expended magazines. These can be reused, no need to waste. Geralt then unloaded the current mag and loaded another. Geralt then went over to Kika’s position. You seem on edge, even for being in a fight.

Katherine stared at the clearly unhappy human, “It could have been much worse I suppose. I am sorry that you do not understand my method of doing anything, but this resolved our issue much faster than what Rose would have done. Now we have some unconscious people to interrogate, I left Kreed’s people alive as well.” Katherine knew that her actions would leave terrible distance between Rose and the group but it was Rose’s fault for getting involved in the first place.

Kika looks up at the two and holsters the weapon, looking at the two, “They didn’t even make a move at you guys! We would have had much more information and a lot less blood on our hands!! Do you even want to live long enough to encounter OGA!?” She takes a deep breath, calming down, “Nevermind it…is Jack dead yet?”
