Seth looked back at her as he walked. Food sounded good. “I have no particular request.” He says simply. “Perhaps the Captain has a request in mind.” Seth then looked forward and put one leg over the bulkhead of the ship then the other, as he sat on it and looked out at the sea. Smiling with his shovel at his side.
-
-Tanakami got herself onto the ship and set the pole down where it could be retrieved. She thought about the food offer and said, “By this point a rotten liver sounds good. Food is food, for now, we sail.” She looked around at the zombies and quietly counted, “one, two, three, four, five… We’re missing a zombie.”
She peeked out at the land and saw the corpse running away. She gave a glare and stretched her shadow out over the dock and grabbed the shadow back from him then it returned to her. That move drained her and even made shallow cuts appear in her arms. She hid them from sight with her hand as she folded her arms back under her breasts. That one soul didn’t make much of a size difference.
She then commanded the five zombies to begin sailing as she placed the rogue soul into another dead body and raised a seventh to help with the work since she had the extra soul. She was exhausted from the grab and set herself down on the deck near the side. She took deep even breaths and whispered to herself, “I need to work on that…”-
-
Seth looked around when she said she was missing a zombie. His eyes darted around and he spotted him running in the distance. Then he dropped. Seth didn’t really care, but he looked at the captain as he pulled their shadow back and raised another body. She sat and seemed tired. He remembers she has a wound.
“Right. I had almost forgotten…I shall fetch a first aid kit.” Seth flips off the bulkhead and when inside to get a first aid kit. He came back in a few minutes. Holding in his hand as he sat down in front of the captain on the deck and opened one in between them. “Here.” Seth gives her disinfectant and a roll of medical tape for her finger. He may as well use some for his bite when she’s done.
-
-Tanakami heard him speak and watched as he went inside then came back out with the first aide kit. She watched him open it but she was refusing to move her arms for the moment, she didn’t want to show her new wounds from over exertion and said, “Let’s patch you up first. You have a bigger wound than me.”
She reached to take the disinfectant and the medical tape and tried to lean up to help his neck, turning her arms in ways for the new wounds to stay hidden. If he let her, she’d treat his wound with the disinfectant. If this was done, she’d be very careful of the wound.-
-
“As you wish Captain.” Seth noticed she seemed to be hiding her wound for some reason. He allowed her to disinfect and treat his wound for a little bit. When she was done Seth then said “Alright Captain.” He had an idea of how to dress a wound. “Let me see yours.” He gave her a sort of smirk that let her know that he knew she was hiding it for some reason.
Seth looked toward her arm so that when she would pull it back, he would see the wound on her finger.
-
-Tanakami smiled and treated the wound to her knowledge. She wrapped it and then pulled her arms back and handed over the disinfectant and such to him. Shen then showed him the graze right at the webbing of her pointer and thumb and up along the flesh to each of the first knuckles from that point. This revealed the open cuts on her arms from over using her devil fruit. She tried to remain silent on it but said, “Alright, clean my gunshot.”
She was specific as to what she wanted clean, but she wasn’t going to argue if he tried to heal the other wounds. She looked just out right tired and, although enjoying the pain, it was still pain.-
-
Seth took both and started treating her gunshot wound. “And you said I had the bigger wound! All I got was a nip.” He was a bit surprised to see the rest of the wounds on her. He’d learned how to treat a wound by watching her. He was able to do it pretty well for his first time.
Then Seth went on to treat her arms. He disinfected the wound. First and then start wrapping her right. “Does this happen often?” Seth asked smiling. Not looking very concerned actually. She seemed strong, a good choice for a captain. He wasn’t really fretting much over her cuts though they looked worse then his bite.
-
-Tanakami chuckled a bit and said, “Well, kind of. If I over use the shadows, it happens.” She hissed a bit as the disinfectant on her arm wound but at the same time, she let out a deep breath. She liked the sting and her fingers twitched a bit. She then looked back at his wound and said, “I may bleed more, but these wounds are less. Just know that if either of you get a wound and I am wounded as well, I will make sure you both get taken care of first.”
Her eyes shifted to his eyes and she held out her other arm, it having the same marks as on the other. She just stared at his eyes, a small toothy smile on her face.-
-
Seth smiled back at her and turned his attention to her other wound as he begins dressing her other arm with disinfectant. Then he started wrapping it. If what she said was true and she would have to heal him at her expense then he would probably have to make sure not to get severely hurt. The same goes for Silver. Or anyone else who joins the crew. He would have to do his best to protect them all.
He finishes wrapping her arms. “There! Finished.” Seth said. “Now we should both be fine.” Seth stood up smiling putting his fists on his hips content with his accomplishment.
“I wonder what our crew mate Silver is cooking….” Seth said towards down towards the ships quarters, at the kitchen below. “I am starving!”
-
-Tanakami smiled and was going to get herself up. She felt her arms give out a little so she covered it as getting more comfortable and crossed her arms under her breasts. She said, “You can go ahead, I am going to stay out here. It is a gorgeous day.”
She leaned her head back and closed her eyes. It did feel great to her. The wind in her hair, the zombies steering the way. She gave a weak smile and giggled to herself. It was peaceful, for now, and she wanted to relax. More like she needed to. They’d been pretty much constantly fighting since she’d become a pirate. She then looked over the bounties beside her and examined each one carefully.-
-
Seth doubted Silver was done cooking. “I will stay out for a bit until she calls us in.” Seth leaned on wall of the ship looking over the edge at the ocean and at the horizon. Staring out, taking in the ocean’s vastness. It’s power. It’s mystery. Seth smiled at these thoughts as the boat traveled along. A bit of wind fluttered papers and he noticed the captain looking over bounties. Then he asked the captain “How much is our bounty?” Seth looked curious.
-
Silver giggles to herself hearing the captain’s words. Seeing as neither had a preference she headed down below deck to the galley. Stepping into the kitchen Silver started to take inventory and see what she would have to work with to cook for the crew she now had. As she familiarized herself with the kitchen, she started to pull out pans and set them on the burners. She walked over to the fridge and started pulling out various vegetables and meat. Silver grabbed two cutting board setting one on the counter and placing the other over the sink, return to the cutting board on the counter she preceded to chop vegetables and started to cube the meat. She transferred the vegetables into various bowls putting the meat in its own. She then took and grabbed the spices she needed and measured them out placing them together in a mortar and then ground them together with the pestle. Placing the oil in the pan as the two patched each other up on deck unbeknownst to her. She then combined the meat and let it cook in the oil then placed part of the plant matter over the meat and sautéed them together. She then added various sauces and then seasonings and let that simmer on lower for a little before adding rice and the rest of the plant matter she had chopped. She placed the last of the seasonings in stirred it well then let it simmer placing it on low and headed back above deck. Where he saw the two sitting after having patched each other up. Smiling as they had finally set sail the wind felt nice she wanted to let it run through her wings again and shifted her shoulders as if they were sore. Though from how limber and flexible she was from the little she did today her shoulders shouldn’t of been bothering her if anyone had any sort of understanding of general biology.
-
-Tanakami looked at the bounties and shifted to the ‘unknown crew’ one. She focused on it and said, ” ‘For the captain of the unknown crew, 5,000 bellie. For the crew beneath the captain, 4,000 bellie each.’ It seems we’re at the bottom of the marine’s to do list but that will change.”
She looked up as she thought she heard Silver come out, she was right and smiled. She noticed the shoulder thing and said, “If you are feeling bothered, you can shed a layer. No one will judge you by cup size.”
She laughed to herself a little and she forced herself to stand, basically rocking up without her arms as she kept hold of the bounty papers. She peeked back down and looked at the higher bounties. She went over four labeled Yonko and she tried to figure out what was so special. One of them just looked like a prissy bitch, another looked like she had a stick up her ass, the one guy looked like a pissed off teen, and the other, well, he was kind of attractive. She was going to go place them up on a wall, so they knew what they were up against if they saw certain faces.-
-
Silver smiled at the captain and shook her head. “I’ll be fine tonight I will take first deck watch if that is alright?” She asked and then thought about the bounties she had never been wanted before and her mind danced over that and giggled. “Captain would you accompany me to the back of the ship?” She asked and looked up to the sun to take a quick judgment of time and she undid the buttons on her vest and it spread some as if something had pulled her vest back. “I would like a privet talk with you if that’s okay?” She didn’t wait for a response and turned heading to the back of the ship and leaned there her vest was raised off her back by a good 6 inches and seemed puffed as she stared out at the water. “Why are you doing this you barely know this woman.” She said to herself and sighed shifting her shoulders some.
-
“Mm.” Seth shrugged as she said the bounty would get higher. He did not care about accumulating a bounty. But if the bounty got higher, so be it. He saw his new crewmates walking up and he thought about asking her how the food was coming along. However, she seemed to be enjoying the air of the ocean, and so, Seth decided to simply leave her be. and he enjoyed the sweet ocean air himself. Then they both began to speak. Seth just stood there, leaned against the wall of the ship as he listens to her conversation. She then asks to see the captain in private.
As she leaves, Seth looks to the captain and says “Well Captain, seems like she wants a word private. I would go see what she would like to discuss. If you need me, I will be below deck.” Seth went under the deck walking down stairs, then went to the dining room. He had no intention of listening in to their conversation, he could smell the food in the pot and he smiled as he leaned his shovel against the wall and sat down at the table waiting. It’s too bad the marines weren’t exactly in a situation that would make them the most friendly. Especially since Seth killed ten of them. So there he sat.
