“Gwaah!” Thomas shouted as he shot up, accidentally shooting a stream of water magic at Alter.

Alter surprised by the water magic is sent flying into a wall. “….ouch….that hurt….”

“It’s not my fault!” Thomas said walking over to Alter to help him up.

“I never said it was…ouch…rib i think i broke a rib.” Alter said before taking Thomas’s hand and tried standing up before clutching his side. “Nope definitely a rib…there a nurse office near by.” Alter said with a chuckle.

Alina gave a soft, nervous laugh after hearing how childish her initial expectations seemed. “Awesome. That makes me feel a bit better. Anyway, im Alina.” She offered a hand to shake and smiled

Taking the hand, a similar smile was on the older girls face. “Aubrey. I’m one of the permanent students here. I’m sorry you missed the tour, and I would give you one myself if we weren’t so busy right now. But I can show you to your room and you can follow the other freshmen to the banquet tonight.”

“Thatd be awesome. Nice to meet ya by the way.” Alina’s hand sparked “Oops…” She watched the spark fall to the floor “Guess im still a little nervous… Anyway, i guess we should get going.”

“All right come on.” Thomas said putting Alter’so arm over his shoulder helping him out of the door.

“Hehe thanks man.” Alter said as Thomas put Alter’s arm over his shoulder and started to go out the door

Aubrey nodded and started leading the girl down the hall. “Okay, just a few basic rules. Curfew is at ten on weekdays, midnight on weekends an holidays. You can have family up here on certain holidays like Christmas or Hanukkah. Weapons are allowed, but you can only have them out during your self defense classes. The teachers dorms are off limits, and you can’t be in the male dorms after six.”

“Hey Thomas you know we’re your going right?” Alter questioned before they got too far

“Ummm…” Thomas thought to himself “I think it was at the front of the school.” he replied walking slowly with Alter.

Aubrey chuckled and shook her head. “Just weapons. Although you’re not allowed to have firearms until you’re a Junior, you can have knives and swords, or anything of the like.”

As Thomas and Alter walk down the hall they come across Aubrey and a person that was not in the main group. “Oh hey Aubrey. You wouldn’t know where the nurses office is do you?” He chuckled nervously.
