The City and The Coffee Shop
-
What better place to make new friends than over a nice mug of hot cocoa? (Or earl grey, or a chai latte… Whatever you want) Why don’t you sit down and stay awhile?
-
Wham! The doors to the building flew open, and a small winged boy stood between them. He stepped inside, and looked over the inside of the store.
“Beware, mortals! I, Petxansca Inxhotar have taken this lowly coffee shop for my own nefarious purposes! All opposed to my rule, step forward!”
Even if he says that, though, would it really be possible for somebody as puny as him to do anything?
-
Matt looked back. Who was this kid? He had wings, which was obviously incredibly strange. He figured that if the dude had wings, he could have other stuff up his sleeves. So he just turned forward and continued staring at nothing, sipping his late. He may have looked lost in thought, but really, he was listening carefully.
-
Crash!
Coming from the corner of coffee shop a young man in a daze on the floor. Jolting up to stand ,looking at the winged boy.
“Hey could you keep it down!I’m trying to watch my waifu!”
Taking his composure back to the laptop. -
L looked up from his laptop and stared curiously at the strange child. “Nefarious purposes? That doesn’t sound good.” He picked up his white mocha, which was actually more like a cup of solid whipped cream with sprinkles and sugar mixed in, and took a sip before continuing. “I hope you aren’t planning any serious menu changes. If you change anything I’d suggest offering a greater variety of flavors, maybe add strawberry syrup…”
-
He looked over the patrons of the coffee shop, and muttered to himself, dissatisfied with the reaction he had gotten.
“… what, that’s it?” He says to himself, scratching at his chin. He stood for a while more, then raised his arms, shouting. “Oh gods, you’re all so boring!”
ヽ(≧д≦)ノ
After a brief time, the devil gave a little “huff”, and made his way to one of the coffee shop’s quiet corners.
-
((may I enter please? *respectful voice*))
Stitch looks up from his corner of the coffee shop, which had somehow become gloomy. Whoa, that was weird. But not as surprising as it should have been. I yawn and stretch my pure-white wings, knowing I didn’t really have to pay attention to etiquette because most normal humans couldn’t even see me. Stitch was the exception though, due to his demon eye.
-
Well at least it was quiet again. L turned his attention back to the computer screen and tried to ignore the gloom that was slowly but surely enveloping the store.
-
Once again, the doors to the coffee shop swing open, but this time a young girl holding a cake comes barging in, “Hoo, hoo, hoo!” She giggles as she places the cake down next to L’s computer. “Care for some?” She asks hopefully.
-
Stitch jumps in surprise and lets out a little yelp. I smile and pat his head, and he calms down. Being the son of a demented professor who dissects everything could make you a little jumpy… I think, sighing. “it’s only a girl, okay?”I say calmingly. Stitch nods and says, “I know, but…” To most likely anyone else in the coffee shop, it would look as if he was talking to no one. which he kind of was. I was technically dead, after all.
-
The monster male then caught notice of a winged humanoid. Immediately, he stood on top of a table, and pointed aggressively at her.
“Hey, angel, this is my turf now! Better remember that!” He boasted, after which he would sit back down again. He then, however, notices somebody bringing in a cake.
The devil boy stares from afar, blinking once or twice.
-
I sit up, fluttering my wings. “huh? what? oh, sure.” I shrug and lean back in my seat. I was somewhat surprised he could see me,but I didn’t let it show. in a random shower of sparkles my wings disappear, as they did at random times. I frown slightly, aww. I liked having wings, they were warm.
-
Jane looks around. “I made this cake just for you! My good friend, Roxy ((From Homestuck as well)) told me of this place and why should we all have to pay for snacks?” She points agressivly at the cake, “Try it!”
-
Dai went behind the store counter waiting for the next customer to come .
“Well time for work…”
Now putting his mind onto his phone -
((Sorry about that, Janey. My computer forgot to tell me that stuff was happening here. Have an extra long reply as an apology offering))
L looked from the cake to the girl and back to the cake, judging the likelyhood of it being poisoned. No, she was obviously just a friendly teenage girl, nothing alarming about her. She probably had just seen him here before and decided to say hello. He smiled sweetly and took a slice. “Thank you, That’s very generous of you.” He picked up a fork from the table and took a bite. “Hm, you’re an exceptionally good baker. This shop better watch out that you don’t run them out of business.” He glanced at the growing dramatics in the corner of the room, very strange behavior, why were those boys talking to thin air? Oh well. “Why don’t you sit down? Can I buy you a drink?”
