The City and The Coffee Shop
-
L had left the tiara on the ground, near Neophyte’s foot. She prodded the headpiece a bit with her boot. Then, deciding to be civilized, picked up the tiara and placed it on the table.
-
Jane nods and all of a sudden a blue light engulfs her body, similar to the red one that previously covered her, “What? I- what is going on?” Jane sits, back in her normal clothes holding her head in her hands, “How did I get all of the way over here?” She glances all around her and especially at L, she’s genuinely confused.
-
Tager takes out $8.50 – It’s a good thing he carried different kinds of currency with him – And takes his donuts and coffee. Sitting back down at his table – Again, on the floor – He quietly watches the events unfolding around him. He was on a break, of course, so he didn’t want to get too involved in things.
-
I smile, my calming wavelength seemed to have kept anyone from getting hurt or being rash. My feelings translate to my soul, and Stitch shudders. An unearthly, ghostly feeling spreads throughout the room, and it gets a few degrees colder. I had no idea that it was my doing, for temporarily breaking through the living-dead barrier. A feeling of being watched spreads to the other shopgoers.
-
Jane stands awkwardly, “Did I… get possessed? It’s happened before and I hurt people, did I hurt anybody? Boy, I hope I didn’t.” Jane supports herself on a table. “I am such an awful person. I have to go talk to my friend on BettyBother… Can I borrow a computer and can you get rid of that tiara?” She shudders, “It’s evil.”
-
Having paid the man at the counter and gotten the drink Jane wanted, ((sorry for speeding up time, K@B, I didn’t know what else to do ;_;)) L set the cup down beside her at the table and smoothed down her hair comfortingly “It’s alright, no one got hurt. You can borrow my computer if you want”
-
“Heavens no!” Cecil exclaimed, shutting the laptop and handing it back to L. “You only just met her, you said so yourself. You don’t owe this… girl, any more favors. Especially not after THAT display. Besides” He said warmly, slowing down from ranting as he put one hand on the detective’s arm. “Didn’t you come here to relax? Let someone else play slave babysitter for a while.” He smiled encouragingly.
-
Stitch seems slightly angered by his protest. The way he had been raised was to treat anyone with utmost respect, even if they were a little bit demanding. Playing “slave babysitter” was normal etiquette to him.
-
Tager felt like he was being watched. However, if anything were to make an approach, he knew he’d be able to stop it. Besides, anything that planned on being aggressive in this building somehow got put down fairly quickly. With that in mind, Tager – With just his thumb and first finger, since anything more could crush the cup – Enjoyed his coffee.

Forgetting to attend a customer a the temp leave the counter. Dai take his place behind counter watching the big red man from afar in amazement.Turning into the stairs and went up to the second floor and fallen into the beanbags without care.Falling face first and looking through one of the window and seeing…
((I don’t know what outside windows !~!)) -
Jane frowns, “Oh, I’m sorry if I caused any trouble.” She stands, “I’ll just be going, my friend said she was gong to send somebody to take my place.” ((I am switching to Calliope if that’s okay)). Jane stands and walks out of the coffee shop leaving her drink. A few seconds later, a gray girl with short white hair and wavy horns comes waltzing in, “Why, hello. my names callie ohpeee.” She sees L and smiles a sharp toothed smile, “You must be the one who took care of Jane. She’s a close friends friend of mine.” ((I am too lazy to type like her…..))
-
Stitch nearly cries out as this new girl enters the shop. he jumps and hides behind me, forgetting that other people couldn’t see me and that he probably looked pretty idiotic. His eyes were wide. “Sh-She looks like J-Jameston…” he whimpers. I take in the sight of the girl, innocently turning my head to the right. “a little bit, but Jameston doesn’t have gray skin, and he has fangs, not just sharp teeth. Plus, his hair is gray like yours.” I remark. I ruffle his hair playfully, and it looks as if a sudden breeze had hit him. Stitch tries to edge away from any reflective surface in the shop, which was kind of hard to do. He was sure that snarky Jameston would soon appear and embarrass him.
-
L just watched as the girl left, not bothering to pull away from Cecil. He was a little grateful, since her demands had been getting a bit much, but he still felt bad. He sat back in his seat and set the computer aside, picking up his coffee cup again. “Hello Callie.” He glanced at the panicking boy a few tables down, who was clearly scared of the newcomer, and decided to keep his distance this time. “Cake?” He said, holding the plate out to Cecil.
-
“No thanks, I’m trying to watch my weight.” Cecil laughed, sitting down across from L. He was already very thin and gangly, so a diet was hardly necessary. “The name’s Cecil Baldwin by the way. What’s yours?” He winked as he picked up the fancy drink that Jane had so generously left behind. The swirled delicate designs of his tattoos flowed slowly across his arms, twisting and convulsing like the tentacles of a squid or octopus.
-
Stitch gradually calms down, but as soon as he does, that dreaded snarky voice appears in his ear. “HEY BUDDY!” Jameston snickers, his reflection appearing in the window we were sitting nearby. Jameston was a carbon copy of Stitch, but with horns and fangs. Jameston also had blood-red eyes with golden diamond-shaped pupils, which had always freaked me out. the relatively docile demon snickers when Stitch screams like a little girl and hides behind me. Even after living most his life as a demon host, Stitch was still scared of him. “Jameston, stop freaking him out!” I say angrily as he steps out of the window. Red shimmering ensues as reflection becomes reality, and he sits down calmly in front of Stitch. Several ((NPC)) people around the shop stare in shock as he casually walks out of the window, but they had seen enough abnormalities today to be able to soon brush it off. Contrary to me, Jameston was fully visible to the public.
